Curzon Plaza - Apartments - Londres

The room I had, had about 8 windows. None of which shut properly. I was on the corner of Curzon and Bolton St. So very busy all night! The bed was uncomfortably and the bathrrom looked dirty! The room was also too warm and it didn't have a kitchen as it had said on the website - just a fridge. The were only 2 things going for this hotel - fab location for getting around and staff were fairly friendly,

This was a last resort for my trip. Well located. The only discrepency was the titel of luxurious. The lobby certainly follows through with the design, but the apartment was like a student apartment, with little to no services. Wouldn't go back with those prices.

I visited for a brief visit and found the staff polite and efficient. The room was basically furnished but perfectly clean and more than adequate for my needs. The room was a little warm but no heating was on so I can only assume this to be due to the thermal efficiency of the building.

This was a great place to stay to get around the city. A stones throw from green park station-it couldn't be easier. Great if you like plenty of space. The separate living room, kitchenette and bedroom offered a more pleasant stay than a hotel room. Its not the most modern of places and the corridors could do with a re-carpet and a lick of paint but all in all great value for money

I stayed over a long holiday weekend and was impressed with the location (very close to Green Park Underground station and Buckingham Palace) and the staff continued to go out of their way to make recommendations on restaurants, things to do etc. Everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful during my stay. However, I would not recommend this hotel simply for the noise. The room that I had - which resembled quite a few other rooms in the hotel - faced the street. I was on the 4th floor (5th level to us Americans...) and did not sleep more than a couple hours a night due to the speeding cars on Bolton Street and the police sirens that went by all night long. The rooms were also incredibly stark in their decor and the room I was in did not have a thermostat (a portable air conditioner sat in the "living room" which was fine during the day, but didn't help at all when you went to the bedroom to sleep) so to cool the room you had to open the windows, and let the noise right in. I noticed that the windows in my room did not seem to close fully, so if you stay there in the winter, it may be a bit cold. Overall, it was okay. I would have changed hotels had I not paid in full in advance. I've stayed in several hotels in London, but none were this uncomfortable for the price. Had it been severely discounted, it might have been worth it. Words of advice: Insist on an inside room! If you can get this, the staff is wonderful and it might just be worth the money. Otherwise, keep looking. Emjoy your stay in London!

I had a room facing the street and it was impossible to get even 2 hours of sleep, the noise level was just too much! Earplugs did not help block out the traffic noise throughout the entire night. The room door was very dodgy and there was a big hole in the paper thin wall (I kid you not) so I was able to look at the building across the street. I will not recommend this place to anybody. The staff were helpful but all in all, the experience was horrible.

The hotel is in a great location for events in the centre of London. The standard apartment was spacious in terms of the bedroom, bathroom and lounge, with the world's smallest kitchen. The apartment was perfectly adequate and a comfortable stay. I would definitely return if I needed another overnight stay in London. The price was good through the internet compared to the hotel's general rates.

I arrived London at 7 AM from DC connecting to Dubai at 9 PM; i needed a decent place to shower and conduct a bussiness meeting in Knightsbridge; excellent back street location in Mayfair; will consider for a family vacation; DONT get your hopes too high; it only has the basics if you are willing to sacrifice luxury; but has all the basics including a small kitchinnet

GREAT LOCATION FOR WHERE WE WANTED TO GO IN LONDON, LIVING AREA OF HOTEL APARTMENT ROOM WAS VERY NICE & SO WAS THE BEDROOM, BUT THE BATHROOM NEEDS TO BE REFURBISHED, BUT AS WE WERE ONLY STAYING ONE NIGHT IT WAS OK, OVERALL VERY NICE HOTEL WILL USE AGAIN.

The location of the hotel and the friendliness of the front desk staff were both excellent. The room was spacious with two seperate rooms plus bathroom. But the condition of the hotel generally was very tired. The photos must have been taken 15 years ago! There were cracked floor tiles in the lifts and bathrooms and the bathroom was something out of the dark ages with a cold crittle window. Overall, the location just behind Piccadilly and the space of the apartment were good, the rest poor.

A bit expensive, but the room was HUGE! With the windows open, you could hear street noise. I don't care, but light sleepers take heed! Otherwise, a nice room. The mini-fridge was broken, but I did not care, so I did nothing about it.

The hotel is perfectly located, clean and attentatively managed. It has an effciency kitchen and all basics are supplied with stores around the corner to stock the refrigerator. The building is in good shape but the unit was basic. For the price, location and value, I recommend the Curzon Plaza

We loved it! Convenient to all sites, located in a quiet, posh, neighborhood. Incredibly large room, excellent bathtub, and most helpful staff.

Excellent location - only 200 m to Piccadilly Str and Metro. Street is quiet. Hotel service is professional and excellent.

Excellent for large groups, the 3 bedroom apartment was spacious and homey! Ideal for long weekends in London.

the internet images show luxurious newly refurbished apartments. the paint was old, the furniture was old, the bathroom suite was grey and old. the onlt newly refurbished thing was the wooden floor and the modern light fitting in the bedroom. overall i thought the room or apartment, No.twenty two, was creepy. its in an excellent area and if your basically looking for a bed in a decent area then go for it, after all youre only sleeping there. on the plus side the double bed is infact two singles pushed together- its all in all wider than it is long and the beds are very comfortable.

Hi all. If your looking for a place to stay close to everything this is the one for you, cheap for the location and has cooking stations to save you eating out at london prices as a young couple this was an ideal location.

The hotel is in a very easy to find and convenient location. The rooms offer good space if you have work to do and also need to meet with customers or business partners. I found the staff all most helpful and courteous. All in all excellent value for area.

posh mayfair location but on VERY BUSY NOISY street; checked out in the middle of the night

We went to London to see Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, and this very convenient location is within 10 minutes walking distance of all the majot theatres and restaurants in the area. Nice, spacious and clean room, which has the added benefit of a small kitchen area too. Recommended - its somewhere thats right in the middle of everything in the West End.

The room was dirty, the bed was 2 singles pushed together and toilet and bath had unmoveable tide marks, the windows were old and wouldn't shut properly leaving you to enjoy the sounds of nocturnal London until the early hours and there wasnt any hot water on either morning of our stay. The big benefit is you will see a lot of London as you wont want to go back to the room!!!!!

For the price and location, was a good place to stay

I recently took my girlfriend to london to see a musical for her birthday and wanted somewere to stay close to everything. the curzon plaza provide an excellent accomodation in a brilliant location for a resonable price.

The rooms were clean. I liked having the kitchen. The beds were hard but strangely enough, I slept well. I was in a second floor room fronting on Curzon and although it was non-smoking the staff would smoke under my window. Definitely not a plus. The decor is exactly like you see in the web page picture, not much too it. The hallways are on the grungy side. The elevator worked but the buttons didn't always so it could be hit or miss. Keys are skeleton keys and they don't have spares. If you went out you had to leave the key at the desk. Not once was any one asked for ID to pick up a key. Somewhat disturbing for a women staying on and having a spouse and multiple friends pop in by simply asking for the key. The Curzon Plaza is right on the route to the tube (Green Park)from a number of pubs so at 11:15PM each evening we would get drunken singers, stumbling fools and almost a fist fight right outside our window. This became a running joke and we rather enjoyed the scenery. The only request we had of staff was a replacement cork screw as ours provided in the room was broken. The request was made at 10 at night as we had just gotten in with our bottle of wine. Although promised twice, no cork screw arrived. Had to again request it on my morning coffee run and finally got one 12 hours too late. I'd stay again if I need a room in London for more than a week as the convenience of an apartment is superior over that of a hotel and much less expensive.

This hotel is very well located but has only very basic furniture and the bed was only moderately comfortable. But the price for the location means I would stay there again.

a nice location a good old building but the floors were very old carpeting is not expensive and if they did their carpets over it would make for a more pleasant environment aldso the phone system was not working so it was very difficult to conduct business

Le studio est très spacieux, tous les accessoires sont là du sèche cheveux, aux casseroles et même éponge et produit vaisselle. Malgré cela il faisait une chaleur monstrueuse dans la chambre et à londres il n'y a pas de volets donc toujours réveillé très tôt. Les finitions sont bof (fils électriques apparents, baignoire cassée..) mais pour notre séjour ce n'était pas un problème. Le lit était immense et très confortable, le ménage n'était pas fait tous les jours... En gros j'y retournerai car les défauts n'étaient rien en comparaison de la rue hyper chicos ou est situé l'hotel et du coup de la sécurité qu'on y ressent, du fait que c'était très smart, qu'on avait les clés 24h/24h donc une super autonomie avec tous ce qu'il fallait à proximité (bus, métro, supermarché, starbucks, 2 parcs..). Moi je recommande pour ceux qui supportent certains désagréments pendant les vacances...

Dejlig 1 værelses på en fed beliggenhed. Tæt på Picadilly, Oxford street og andre super lækre ting. Super venlig personale, meget hjælpsomme.

Fantastisk til den pris. Alt har du indenfor rækkevidde.

Grei leilighet, god plass, god beliggenhet i London.

Personalet utrolig venlig og behjælpsom. Da toiettet gjorde vrævl med at skylle, gik der under 5 mn ofe tekniker bankede på. Frøs jeg... kom der ekstra heater og tæpper med dt samme. Nødvendig info mhp natbusser, atraktioner mm. var peronaet ligeledes med at finde for os på nettet samt ringer til diverse steder. Køkkene udstyret med det nødvendige... Alt i alt super oplevelse til små penge og meget meget central under 3 min til Green Park undergroúnd station.

un hotel tres sympas mais tres mal insonorisé. Nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans la rue, donc nous avons assez mal dormi, mais sinon aucun probleme

parfaitement placé, à coté du metro. Le studio est assez grand mais les murs sont vides et pleins de fissures. Peut convenir pour des jeunes qui y passent juste la nuit mais pas pour des personnes un peu difficiles.

Lägenheten bestod av ett sovrum, badrum och komb. vardagsrum meed köksvrå. Mycket enkla möbler och englasfönster utom i sovrummet där man hade satt in ett extra glas. Inga element var igång. I november är det för kallt i min mening. 3* är för högt satt. Min värdering är ett 2* hotell med bra läge.

Förvänta dig inte ett lyxigt hotell eller något extra. men alla basfunktioner som rena rum, tv, säng och allt sånt finns och funkar bra.

Nous avons été très satisfaits de l'hôtel. Idéalement placé à moins de 10 minutes de Picadilly Circus à pieds, il n'est pas nécessaire de prendre les transports en commun pour les visites. Le personnel est vraiment serviable et à disposition des clients 24h/24 pour tout renseignement. Les apparts sont propres et calmes. seul petit bémol: il n'y avait pas de plaques électriques dans la cuisine. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

0,5km from Green Park station and 0,8km from Oxford Street - ideal location. Pleasant staff and ok rooms. We were in fact upgraded with no extra cost. Only negative factor was traffic noise during night. Bring ear plugs with you. I will stay at Curzon Plaza next time I'm coming to London

pas emballé mais bonne localisation et grandes chambres

Prima lobby, vriendelijke service aan de receptie. Hotel moet opgeknapt worden aan de binnenzijde. Kamer van goede grootte, maar doet erg gedateerd aan en is eerder 'zeer eenvoudig' van inrichting dan 'luxe'. Badkamer erg matig. Wel prima Wifi (gratis).

Ett helt okej hotell med bra läge. Det är inget lyxhotell men personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam och rummen är rena. Köket är väldigt litet men det går ändå att laga mat där vilket man kan spara mycket pengar på.
