Quality Hotel Heathrow - Slough

Hotel was awesome for the price. Only thing I was disappointed in was the "extras" that added up quickly: *The hotel was NOT within walking distance from the train station. It cost £10 (including tip) to take a taxi. *I had to pay £7 for wireless access in my room for one night *The shuttle to Heathrow (which is one of the reasons I stayed there) was an additional £4... when I thought they advertised as free?? That's a lot of extra money for one night at a hotel!

In line with other reviews about this hotel I found it extremely hot in the room, poor secondary glazing along with a tiny amount of ventilation made our stay here very uncomfortable. The fact that they charge for parking is terrible and the only mention on the web site is buried deep in the directions page, no use if you use Sat Nav in other words! I won't be going back.

The hotel was very clean and the room nicely appointed. The restaurant/bar offered both a lunch buffet and a breakfast buffet both reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and courteous. There is a shuttle service to Heathrow airport every 30 mins which is very convenient.

Restaurant cashier was very inexperienced and seemingly unaware that he was paid to provide service. Bathroom was very small and the bottles of soap and shampoo fixed to the wall (!)made it resemble an airport restroom in a bad area. Will never return.

Its not in the best town, but if you want close to the airport and money is a factor, its worth it. It has a nice little bar/restaurant and the staff was nice.

Spent one night before flight back to the states. Clean comfortable room. Shuttle service to and from airport. Dinner pricey normal for London. Closest tube Heathrow.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We were just stopping overnight after landing at Heathrow Airport. The service at the resturant was horrible! I felt that this hotel was a little out of the way in relation to the airport. In addition, we were told by the airport hotel information desk that the only way to get to the hotel was to take a taxi. The taxi charged us $100 to travel about 10 miles! Come to find out, there is a hotel loop bus available for $8 round trip. Obviously this was not the fault of the hotel, but just wanted to point it out so no one else gets ripped off.

The hotel was modern and up-to-date. I had been staying at hotels in London and Paris. The level of those rooms were not so great and the cost was high. Checking in to the Quality Hotel Heathrow was a perfect way to finish my two-week whirlwind tour of London and Paris. It had the amenities that I'm used to in the States. The person at the front desk who helped me was wonderful. Her badge said that she was a trainee. It was quite obvious because her supervisor was standing right behind her. Even with that unfortunate circumstance, the trainee was nice, professional and there was not even a hiccup in how she helped me out. She told me the easiest way to get to Windsor from the hotel. I loved that I was able to take a bus to Windsor to see the Castle and to have a wonderful dinner there the night before I flew out . I was back in time to get ready to leave the following day, yet I felt I had snuck in another day of sightseeing. Great location.

We booked a room at Quality Hotel because of its proximity to Heathrow and its published good price. We did not know, however, that air conditioning was not standard at that rate. It cost an additional $40 or 20 pounds sterling. I don't think the website made that obvious. It happened to be very hot the night we spent there, and although the room had a table fan, it was very, very hot and stuffy. We couldn't figure out how to open the windows, and even if we had the runway noise from Heathrow would have posed a problem.

The Hotel was very nice. Extremely comfortable bed, clean shower, toiletries vending machine which came in handy. Only comment is they did not have air conditioning just a fan. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and was great in answering all my questions. It was easily accessible from the hotel, the bus drops off right in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Front office staff was very helpful. Went out of their way to deliver an iron and stand late at night. Hotel is a bit far from Heathrow airport. So plan on taking some time to get there and coming back from Airport. Hoppa buses ran on time.

Room was too hot. No thermostat. No A/C. Shower controls did not work simply: scalding or freezing. Smell of sewer gas from toilet. Hoppa Bus connection is excellent, if expensive, but still cheaper than taxi.

good size room for the price

Restaurant service was very poor. I waited 50 minutes for a table when there were a minimum of 6 tables free. Once seated and ordered it took a long time for the food to arrive. Quality of food was very good and good price too, but those are the only positive remarks I can make.

The hotel was clean, had a decent sized room and bathroom, and more than met my expectations for the money.

Staff members were courteous and helpful. Inhouse Restaurant is necessary because of location.

Convenient, clean with a nice restaurant. Be sure you use the hoppa bus to & from the airport...but you need to buy your ticket from Heathrow by 11:30 p.m.

The hotel was easily accessed by shuttle from Heathrow; the hotel was clean and very pleasant.

Manglende informasjon om skatter gjorde at rommet ble dyrere en oppgitt. Anbefaler ikke dette hotellet om sommeren, uten aircondition ble det umulig å sove i det varme rommet, en vifte hjalp ikke på problemet.

Hotellet ligger ca 20min bussresa från flygplatsen och kan således sänka sina priser något. Restaurangen är bra och har ett ganska stort utbud med tanke på storleken. Fördelen är att samma bussbiljetter som till de närliggande hotellen gäller även för Quality trots att det ligger något avsides. Har man bara för avsikt att bo för en natt för vidare transport är detta hotell utmärkt. För längre tid kan det nog kännas ganska fattigt.
