Novotel Paris Gare De Lyon - París

This hotel provided excellent value for money. A convenient location and a clean and comfortable stay for a couple of nights. My only criticism is that the restaurant at breakfast ran out of essential items by 9.15 in the morning!

Have stayed in a number of Novotels before and they were good. Paris hotels in this price bracket are renowned for being small and adequate but this was a real find. Staff couldn't do enough for us, really helpful. Lobby had Books, Apple PC's, X Box and there was also a Swimming Pool for kids. Room clean, not great sofabed for kids to sleep on, was ripped. Only down was price of breakfasts, but cheap for 4 people in Paris.

Great location, walking distance from Notre Dame and very handy for all links on metro,RER etc. We'd definitely use this hotel again.

We found this hotel to be very suited to families, providing a play area and games consoles for the children while parents have a drink in the comfortable lounge. Nice swimming pool. The kids did complain that their pull out beds weren't very comfortable. Not a problem after they'd walked up the Eiffel Tower! Adult beds very comfy.

He stayed there for a week and they had a promotion including breakfast. Everything was perfect ! Delicious food, perfect location , will come back FOR SURE !!!

Great location if you need to take a train "Gare de Lyon" in Paris. The hotel is in very good condition. Room sizes are pretty good for European standard. The restaurant was not great but there are plenty of great restaurant in the neighborhood.

The hotel was clean, in good condition and conveniently located adjacent to the train station.

We stayed at this hotel as a family group of 4 sharing a family room. Whilst the children's bed was a sofa bed it was in two parts which meant they had separate beds. It was also a very quick and easy mechanism allowing us to easily free up space in the room during the day by putting the sofa bed away without any difficulties. The room was large enough for a short stay but we would have found the storage facilities too limited had we been there longer. The pool was excellent ,as was the gym. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was very tasty. The location is very central although in a slightly commrecial district but the attractions were in easy walking distance.

I am very satisfied with the hotel. I've been in others and this is the best one, I will use it again when I am in Paris, no doubt. Very confortable, very clean, good service and very close to the train/subway station.

The hotel was easy to get to by Metro, located over Gare du Lyons station. It's in a great neighborhood with restaurants big and small and beautiful apartments. Pool is clean and open 24 hrs. Staff were friendly and helpful, language not an issue. Would recommend to friends.

Good location and staff helpful. Modern Hotel and rooms quite spacious. Our two boys (6 and 9) liked the individual sofa beds- and they were comfortable. 3rd floor has a gym and bottled water. Swimming pool very deep so not suitable for non swimmers. X box 360 in foyer! We did not eat in hotel - bakery just 100m outside so brought in food and ate in room for breakfast. Left bags in hotel and came back later - no problem. Would use again.

This hotel was conveniently located near two of Paris' main train stations:Gare Nord and Gare Austerlitz. The accommodations were very good. Professional staff, clean and well appointed rooms for the money. Only negative is that you are somewhat removed from the main tourist destinations. The Metro is near by and if you are up to a 30min walk, you can trek to Notre Dame. For the money, if there was not a similar hotel closer to the center of Paris, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Adjacent to the Gare de Lyon, this hotel is modern, efficient, very clean and a good value. It has absolutely no charm and the bathrooms are all plastic (not really as bad as that sounds) but the room was good sized, spotlessly clean, had soft towels and crisp white sheets, plus CNN on the TV. There's also a mini-bar and room service. Our room was a bit noisy due to all the traffic around the train station, but by late evening it had quieted down. Staff was efficient and helpful and for Metro, train or airport bus access, you can't beat the location.

The location was in a city called Gare De Lyon not much there but alot of resturants. it will be difficult if you don't no english becuase they will give you a french menu. i found it hard to eat and the train station are huge and hard to get out of but there kind of easy to get around. ovrall this hotel was good nice swimming pool heated. Bar and resturant! effiel tower is about 20 - 25 minutes away and disneyland is easy to get to thats about 30 -40 minutes to get too that was great too don't miss it out.

Good Hotel, comfortable and clean. There is a swiming-pool, very useful for the families.

Good hotel and very convenient to the Gare de Lyon.

The interior is somewhat grey and uninspiring...however, the location is superb. Located right next to the Gare de Lyon and within walking distance of Le Bastille. There are many nice cafes and shops within walking distance as well. And the metro is right underneath the train station. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Effet "claustrophobique" garanti dans la salle de bain 100 % en plastique, du sol au plafond, du style "Formule 1" (appartenant au même groupe !) Vue sur le côté de la Gare discutable. Réveil matinal par le "ballet" des femmes de ménage dans le couloir... Bref à réserver UNIQUEMENT si on a un train à prendre...

Ligger centralt ved en stor metro- og togstation, samt i nærheden af det charmerende Bastille-kvarter. Fin pool, venligt personale og lækkert værelse til en meget acceptabel pris. Har intet dårligt at sige om dette hotel!

Vi bodde 6 netter på Novotel Gare de Lyon i juli-09. Var veldig fornøyd med rom, service og mat. Hotellet har et lite bassseng som var kjekt for ungene. Vi reiste med 3 barn (4 1/2, 9 og 13). Kort vei til Metroen.

Wir waren in der 3.Etage. Zimmer war sehr ruhig und sauber. Bei grossem Andrang, ist das Personal am Frühstückbüfett überlastet.

I stayed at the hotel together with two other persons. We were going to take the train from Gare De lyon the next day. We shared a room where we had an extra bed. The Room was okay and the location was very good. If you are going to take the train the following morning I can recommend the hotel.

Nous avons été surpris en bien par la grande amabilité et gentillesse du personnel, que ce soit tant à l'accueil, au service bar et petit déjeuner que le personnel de chambre, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans les grandes chaînes d'hôtels. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Grand choix au petit déjeuner. Nous étions allés dans le même hôtel il y a sept ans et un grand effort a été déployé pour améliorer la qualité. Bref, nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Hôtel accueillant, propre, soigné, moderne, avec du personnel qualifié et à l'écoute des résidents. Idéal placé de par sa proximité de la gare de Lyon pour les voyageurs sncf...

Verblijf met gezin (2 volwassenen, 2 kleine kinderen) in "gezinskamer". Kamer klein, maar wel schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prima hotel, ideaal gelegen naast Gare de Lyon. Metrostation om de hoek. Dus als uitvalsbasis om Parijs te bezichtigen ideaal. Volgende keer reserveren we dit hotel weer.

Fint og nytt hotell med relativt enkel standard. Vi var to voksne og to barn som tilbrakte mesteparten av tiden i Eurodisney, og da var dette hotellet veldig praktisk. 100 meter til Gare de Lyon togstasjon gjorde det veldig enkelt å komme seg til Eurodisney og også inn til sentrum. Gåavstand til Notre Dame. Flott frokost (men litt dyrt).

Et helt igennem super hotel til børnefamilier, værelse lidt lidt til 4 prs, men til en lille uge, helt OK. Dejlig morgenbuffet til rimelig pris og dejligt med en pool hvor man kan blive løst op i kroppen efter en lang dag på gåben. Også helt fine fitness faciliteter; løbebånd og crosstrainer. OG rigtig god beliggenhed lige ved Gare de Lyon, og masser af brasserier/restauranter.

Bra beliggenhet, både for byvandring, metro, tog til EuroDisney etc. Hyggelige restauranter tett i tett rundt stasjonen og hotellet. Lite men fint svømmebasseng til glede for barna, med innsyn fra lobby så foreldre kan passe på.

Very nice hotel, well located next to Gare du Lyon with Metro. Plenty of restos in the vicinity. Upsides are payable parking space and swimming pool. The only downside were bathroom and that we got a smoking room (though we didn't complain as it was bearable).

l'albergo è in una buona posizione, e praticamente a fianco della stazione ferroviaria, la metrò e a 50 metri , una buona presenza di locali per consumare i pasti, a 150 metri si trova un piccolo negozietto per gli acquisti di prima necessità, e presente anche una farmacia. Se andate con i bambini, in camera si trova un divano che si trasforma in letto molto comodo e conveniente, apprezzabile la piccola piscina e la sala giochi per far svagare i bimbi mentre i grandi si riposano. ritengo l'hotel ottimo nel complesso

Das Hotel bietet einen sehr seriösen und angenehmen Rahmen für einen Kurzaufenthalt mit Kindern in Paris. Es ist günstig gelegen und die Familienzimmer sind durch die einfach ausklappbaren Sofabetten sehr praktisch.
