We stayed at this hotel twice -- at the beginning of our trip for three days and again near the end of our trip for four days while attending a professional conference. The hotel staff were very, very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. This was one of the best UK city hotels we have ever found for a reasonable price. We will look for this brand again when going overseas. I travel a great deal for business and would stay in this hotel if I were heading to Manchester for work. It was comperable to the typical upper range business hotels in which I usually stay.

Jurys Inn Manchester not only offered value for money, it is perfectly situated in the centre of the city. My boyfriend and I both stayed here for 6 nights for a break-away having found the hotel through the internet. The staff were very polite, helpful and pleasant. The hotel bar is very comfortable and clean. Our room was serviced everyday, hoovered and made-up. Spotless!! Absolutely no complaints from us!!

The hotel is very well located as the tram/busses are less than a five minute walk. The bedroom was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is a lot larger then expected. Overall the room was perfect. However breakfast is nothing to write home about, if we were to stay again we would not eat in the hotel. We only had our breakfast one morning. That was enough. On one night we had a few drinks in the hotels bar, however you would not go to wild down there at the prices they charge. The cost of our two drinks was just under nine pounds, you would not pay nine euro for them at home.

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el jul 1, 2009.
This hotel must be the weakest link in the Jurys Inn chain. Had to queue for 15 minutes to check in, which is an unusual experience for me; asked for a non-smoking room on the booking form and the receptionist even confirmed this request but when we got in to the room, it had clearly been used for smoking from the smell. The room was a small, unfashionably furnished room. We were told by reception that they do not do room service, which amazed me. Instead there was a pile of pizza menus next to a phone in reception. We asked for an iron to be sent to the room and was told that this was not supplied as there was an ironing ROOM on floor 3 with "plenty in there". There were 4 irons and 4 stained ironing boards. Lovely. An iron and ironing board is a basic requirement for any hotel room, in my opinion. The good points for this hotel, for us, were (i) good location, (ii) discount given for parking and (iii) late bar.

What can I say. The bed was very uncomfortable...the matress needed to be replaced, it was clearly very old/worn. The room looked a bi sad and dated. The service was ok, until there was a problem, I had terribly noisy neighbours and complaimed twice to reception. I am not convinced they did anything about it as the noise (music and loud banging of doors) went on until after 3am in the morning. When I spoke to reception, they didnt seem too bothered. Dont advise you to stay here if their is the remotest chance that you want to get an early night as I did on this particular occassion. Treat yourself, pay extra and stay at Malmaison or something but def don't stay here.

Given that it is a chain hotel and relatively low priced, we were not going expecting luxury but we were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean with fast and friendly service. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, overlooking the canal. It is in a top situation, excellent for a night out in the centre of Manchester. We would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times before and I was very satisfied, unfortunately this time I received a room that was not as cozy and roomy as previously. Also I found that cleanliness of the room was not at its best (found lot's of hair everywhere). Another downside is that the internet connection goes for 10 GBR/24 H, regardless if used in the room or if a customer has its own laptop and use it in the lobby. Other then that the hotel has a great central location, near by parking and a spa on the site. I would recommend to stay, however the rooms that facing the opposite side of the main street seem to be bigger and better.

Myself & my son stayed here while on a over night trip to Old Trafford , Staff were very friendly & helpful , did'nt eat there so cant comment on food, over all it was ideal for us as Old Trafford was only 4 stops away on the tram , only complaint was it was a bit noisy at night , even so I would still recommend .

after reading a couple of reviews of this hotel, we were not sure how it would be. The staff were excellent, and could not have been more helpful. Only one blip..we were woken at 09.00 to be asked if our room could be serviced, but hey we can live with that. Hotel in perfect location for Manchester centre, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would not hesitate to re-book.

Average was the foremost thought I had when considering how i felt about this hotel .Everything about it was average or just about average, the reception staff were somewhat less than helpful and where they were not unhelpful , they were very far short of overly helpful. It was function masquerading as service. The area surrounding it is somewhat rundown and unplesant. and giv en that many of the clientelle select this hotel were there to attend a football matches in old trafford there was no effort made by the hotel to especially facilitate such clientelle. Breakfast was priced to deterr at a whopping 10.50 sterling. It was ok.. very average and im not likely to be back. M

We stayed in Jurys Inn for New Years eve, when we arrived at the hotel i asked for an extra hour extension onto our check out time as we were not flying back to dublin until late the next day. the lady at reception humed and hawed about it and then decided to charge us an extra 10 pound for this service. When we arrived at out room it was in this tiny corridor were only two rooms were and they room was TINY! we viewed our friends room which was a lovely room which they paid cheaper for. it was a good stay but raging now i didnt complain at the time that our room was unacceptable.

Hotel is right across the road from Deansgate locks so ideal if that's where you're heading. There's no car park but there's a 24 hour NCP 30 seconds walk away and after getting the car park ticket validated at the hotel on check out we got 25% off so cost us about £12 for just under 24hrs which isn't bad. Room itself was what you'd expect for the price, fairly basic but clean and tidy with comfy beds, good shower etc. Nice bar downstairs with friendly staff. We wanted to try the restaurant but asit was new years eve it was closed so we just had a pub meal in the bar instead which was fine.

We stayed at Jury's Inn Manchester for one night. The location was wonderful because we were attending a concert at the Bridgewater Hall, and Jury's is right behind it. Plenty of parking in the NCP car park across the road. The staff were really welcoming and GREAT! the room had a window we could open so we didn't have to rely on air conditioning.

No real complaints about the hotel. Very good location in downtown Manchester, and a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride to Piccadilly Station. The room wasn't fancy but it did the job -- decent bed, large bathroom, good TV lineup, in-room tea/coffee. Free newspapers in the lobby also a plus. The hotel bar was quite useful -- decent food at a reasonable price, and it stayed open later than most bars/pubs in the city. Minor complaints would be -- phone calls were very expensive, especially to local mobile numbers (2 pounds a minute); no continental breakfast; no clock/alarm clock in the room. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would strongly consider staying there again.

Spent a long time waiting to check in, then when finally making it to my room, my swipe card didn't work! The room was quite basic and uncomfortable. The TV was fuzzy on all channels & the room seemed quite cramped. For the price it was OK, however in Manchester on a Friday night I'm sure there are others that are cheaper and of better quality. I won't be visiting again.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a "football" vacation. This hotel is affordable and the quality throughout exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located near the downtown area of Manchester, which is close to a lot of restaurants, shops and close to the Victoria Train Station. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great hotel but on a limited budget.
