Armstrong Paris Hotel - París

Decent, clean budget hotel. It is well out of the way of a normal tourist's spin of Paris, but so long as you're comfortable with the Metro, it's a quick jump out there. Probably not the best if you want to be able to go back to the hotel a few times during the day, but if you just need a place to sleep that's comfortable, for the price it's worth it.

Armstrong Paris Hotel is a little further out from Central Paris, but the Metro ride got you to the Louvre in 20 minutes, door to door. The hotel has a great breakfast and bar for late night drinks. Only bummer was no air conditioning, big windows helped with that. At 55 Euro, it is hard to beat. Bathroom was clean and bright. The hotel looks like it has been updated and is very nice.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, so much so that at one point I forgot I was actually in Paris!!! (I have visited Paris several times before). The staff were extremely friendly, rooms were great and location was good, there was a metro station, a local bakery and a few roadside cafe's/bistro's located within 2 mins walk from this hotel. Excellent value for money in a city where cheap hotels means having to put up with dirty and smelly rooms and rude staff!

Hotel Armstrong is a classic business hotel. Rooms are clean and well fitted but are on the small side for two people. Our second floor room was also quite stuffy which meant we had to open the window and try to sleep with some noisy traffic. The hotel is close to a tube station, several restaurants and bars, and a 24hour bakery - definitely a winner. However, the tube station is too far out to access the sights of central Paris. It took 35 minutes on the tube to get to Le Louvre. Overall, the hotel was good for the price but I will probably choose somewhere more central.

Decent, no frills hotel. Rooms are small, but relatively comfortable. Only one elevator, and it was broken one night, so after a long day of walking we had to climb to the 5th floor. Several miles from the sights (easily a 2 hour walk)- plan on taking a taxi back if you're out late. An hour from the CDG by train and 2 metros at about $12/person.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Close walk from metro.

not bad if u want to park for a night.. but not good value for money.. i think u can get better bargains elsewhere.. location is very far.. and the hotel is in general old. the staff was very helpful though

The staff at the hotel was excellent. The room was small and older but quite clean. The neighborhood however not high end but felt safe and metro was right there. Nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Would stay again!!

hotel was about a 40 euro car ride from cdg airport, and really close to a metro line which you can get anywhere from, staff spoke really good english and was very helpful. rooms were a little small but they are clean. definately a good choice and a great price!

It was a clean comfortable hotel with television stations in various languages which was nice. The area is not great however, would recommend arriving in daylight.

This hotel was fine for what we wanted, a place to keep our things, shower and sleep in. It was on the small side, as all Paris hotel rooms are. If you are on the larger side then the bathroom might cause a problem as there was very little space between the door, wall and toilet. The room was very clean, with a plasma TV on the wall which also gave helpful information such as local restaurants and excursions. Breakfast was fine for 8 Euros. There is a nice bakery and patisserie round the corner if you prefer to get fresh croissants on the go. The hotel has a lift, a sauna, very cheap internet access and FREE Wi-Fi. May I respectfully recommend that if you want Hilton comfort then you pay Hilton prices as there are so many critical and unrealistic reviews on this site - this is a budget hotel, with prices to match. It was clean, comfortable and convenient, and fine for what we needed. If you intend to spend a lot of time in your room, this may not be the place for you. Although the hotel is in the 11th Arrondisement, it is NOT in the Bastille area and is quite a way out of the city centre; however, as the hotel is round the corner from a Metro Station this isn't a problem (25 mins by underground, and there are many convenient connections between lines) The vast majority of the Metro stations are NOT wheelchair friendly as there are so many steps and no lifts.

Access to the metro was excellent. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, prompt and accessible, the rooms are small and efficient, but the walls were wallpaper thin. We could hear everything. Bring ear plugs for a restful night.

Thank goodness the paris metro system.This hotel was quite a distance from the CDG airport but the excellent metro system allowed easy access,which was great. The hotel is located within a minute walking distance from a metro station. its fairly clean,the bed was ridiculously tiny as was the room,but it had ashower and tub. its fine if u are not planning to spend a great deal of time in the room.

We had to run water for 10-15 minutes to get hot water. According to the staff, it took time to get hot water if you stayed on upper floor. We stayed on 5th floor. Phone was broken, and I notified the staff, but it was not fixed during 3 night stay. Soup and bathroom tissue were not added for second day, so we had to go to front desk to ask for them since phone was broken. We will not stay this hotel again.

Korrekt pontos volt a szobafoglalás, minden igényünkről tudtak, illetve részletesen bemutatták a hotel szolgáltatásait. A hotel metróval jól megközelíthető, de gyalok is kb. 50 perc alatt be lehet sétálni a központba. A személyzet korrekt és segítőkész volt. A szoba rendkívül tiszta, kényelmes, a zuhanyzó és a wc minden komforttal felszerelt (pl hajszárító, 3 db törölközö személyenként). Hangulatos bár és internetszoba is volt az alagsorban. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat itt.

chambre silencieuse, propre, à même pas 2 min du métro, très bon acceuil, très belle entrée, et pas cher. mériterait une étoile...

les chambres sont propres avec un design agréable mais vraiment trop petites

Le seul défaut de l'hôtel est sa situation éloignée de Paris centre, pour tout le reste très bien. calme, propre, WIFI de très bonne qualité à volonté, bon accueil, ménage bien fait.

cet hôtel mérite visite

Nous avons aprécié le calme de l'hôtel, les nuits sans bruit, bien que la chambre donne sur la rue. La chambre très claire, et quand même décorée nous a plu. Le cabine de toilette et la chambre étaient fraîchement rénovés. petit-déjeuners en sous-sol mais bien, avec fenêtres et salle agréable. seul bémol : accueil impersonnel ou inexistant.

Avantage: très abordable, propre, bon service et situé à 2min. du métro, wifi gratuit et coffret de sécurité. Désavantage: aucune ambiance, situé loin des centres d'intérêts (métro obligatoire), mal insonorisé. Bref c'est bon pour un court séjour mais pas romantique.

malgré une insonorisation intérieure un peu faible. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Kein großer Luxus aber für den Preis absolut in Ordnung gute Anbindung zur Metro nur wenige Gehminuten

Sympa mais pas spécialement bien placé pour les lieux "phare" à visiter. Bon accueil. Chambres ok sans plus.

Meget lille værelse, men det var forventet. Parkeringsadgang utrolig besværlig - og meget småt med plads. Ekstrem arrogant reception - på trods af, at jeg taler sproget - og elendigt morgenbord. Vi rejste en dag tidligere og mistede penge også derved.
