Crowne Plaza Liverpool - Liverpool

The Crowne Plaza was everything I expected, well run, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable well appointed rooms, and a breakfast to die for!

Excellent two night break- lovely, friendly staff and superb facilities Kids ate free in the evening- still a bit pricey though Pool/Spa great- kids swam for ages whilst we lounged around in the whirlpool Only thing which would have improved our stay would have been more affordable breakfast

Wasn't impressed with the staff at this hotel. We were informed at reception that the pool was open until 9.00 p.m. for children, only to be told rather rudely to leave the pool area at 8.00 p.m. (ten minutes after arriving at the pool). I then ordered room service for 1 child's meal which took almost an hour and then they phoned at 11.00 p.m. (when we were asleep), to leave the tray outside - which we had already done. Found the staff in general unhelpful. I'll wait for the Hilton to open.

on arriving at the hotel was so happy with the service we got until we arrived into our room which was a family 2 double beds which were very close together a lovely big window with beautiful view only prob was the window was screwed shut which was not good as my daughter was feelin unwell ...........

The room was crammed with 2 double beds with only one locker in between therefore nowhere for the second person in the same double bed to place a glass of water, watch, phone, etc. You couldn't leave the ironing board out as there was no space to walk by it. I got excited when checking in and heard the receptionist say there's no standard room left but I would have preferred a standard room with one bed and a bit of space. My Friday morning 7am alarm call came a day late via the TV and that was on the Saturday morning when I'd actually set my phone to wake up at 9am. Grrrrr ! The breakfast was good with lots of choice.

i couldnt ask for a better hotel. from the minute we checked in until we checked out the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the hotel was great! clean and comfortable and did i mention the friendly staff!

This hotel is in a great location, short walk to Albert Dock, overlooking the River. The Staff were amazing. Very polite, accomodating and helpful. Very nice pool and gym facilities.

Often passed this hotel embarking from the I O M Steam Pkt ferry. Thought it would be too too expensive! Quite wrong, lovely hotel,staff very helpfull,everything just as you would want. Asked weather they were part of a group with hotel in New Zealand not suprised to find they were.Stayed in Crown Plaza in Christchurch N Z same welcome and ambience. Told all my friends here on the Isle of Man its the place to stay.

Right from the time we stepped out of the taxi, the staff at Crowne Plaza Liverpool took care of us with genuine warmth and care. They were always ready to attend to our every need. The hotel is so centrally located that it was easy to go around by foot to the shopping areas and attractions. Though this was our first trip to Liverpool, we felt so at home and will make repeat visits...more so, since we are Liverpool FC fans! What a holiday this was!!

Gorgeous hotel, comfortable, lovely staff. breakfast was fantastic!! Only thing was the beds were a bit hard, maybe because they were new. and you couldnt open the windows, but everything else was perfect.

It is unacceptable for big lorries being outside of the hotel and loading and unloading stuff at 8.30 a.m. Some people stay at the hotel to rest - relax.

Sunday morning 22.03.09, Anfield was on the horizon for two expectant travellers from the west coast of Ireland. Hotel was booked but was not at the forefront of the weekend plans! However, upon arrival from the moment of checking in to check out on Tuesday it can only be described as fabulous. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, big flat screen telly, sumptious bath robes everything that you could want in a hotel room. The customer service levels were outstanding from all members of staff, nothing was too much trouble and it was genuine! A rare commodity today. And just when you thought it couldn't get better along comes the harbour club with pool, spa pool, steam room and sauna! an absolute delight especially after a night out on the town! Although no residents bar which was a bit disappointing! It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two nights and would highly recommend it to all. ( The stay was made even better by the pool's 5-0 win over Villa at which we stood on The Kop and watched a masterclass!!!!!)

i rang the hotel prior to arriving to arrange a bottle of champagne to be left in my room,the wrong bottle was left and the staff not very helpful in trying to rectify there mistake,the manager on duty referred to himself as duty manager,still dont know his name. lounge service was very slow,the hotel was not busy and yet we couldnt get any member of staff to come take our order.eventually when i went to the bar to order, it took half an hour for two sandwhichs to arrive.this service happened repeatly throughout our stay, with a 10% service charge added to all bills.wat a disgrace..customer care???

A fantastic stay, but what really struck me about this hotel in particular was the friendliness and the superb service from the staff. Everyone I encountered was so helpful and really did go that 'extra mile' to make sure I was comfortable and informed. From the doorman, to the reception staff, concierge and breakfast staff I couldn't fault anyone. They were all a credit to 'Crowne Plaza' Hotels.

We only stayed one night but were quite impressed with the hotel... in a good spot close to Albert Dock and easy reach of the more central part of Liverpool. Breakfast was fantastic. Great value for money!!

Hotel was excellent, all staff were fantastic, the children lived the hotel and we will reccomend it to all! The service impressed us throughout the hotel - from the cleaning staff, health club staff and reception.

A little over-priced hotel comparing to the services they offer, plus they don't include breakfast with the overall price

Meget velfungere hotell med meget sentral beliggenhet, god service, hyggelige ansatte. Flott rom, bra trykk i dusjen, første dusj i England med bra trøkk i? :-) Neste Liverpooltur booker jeg rett på dette hotellet....

Ett utmärkt hotell med stor och bra frukost. Tänk på att om man har ett familjerum (4 pers) och väljer att köpa rum inkl. frukost, så får man bara 2 st frukost och man får köpa till 2 st. Bra läge på hotellet, lungt och ändå nära till centrum.

Dette var et veldig bra hotell som lå fint til ift shopping. Treningssenteret var også bra, og barna koste seg i svømmebassenget.

Hotel pas trop loin du cente ville (15 min à pied au plus). Des services impressionnants (le spa est super !)... Seule la taille de la chambre laisse un peu à désirer (on est un peu à l'étroit). Les lits sont très confortables.... Bref je recommande sans hésitation...

Vi var en familie på fire som besøkte Liverpool for første gang. Hotellet fungerte godt til å tilfredsstille de forskjellige ønskenene innen familien. Svømmebassenget på hotellet fenget minstemann, mens den korte avstanden til shopping i Liverpool sentrum falt i god smak hos eldstemann. Rommet med to dobbeltsenger fungerte godt og frokosten i resturanten var bra. Området er noe øde på kveldstid men det er ikke lang vei til "der det skjer". Kan anbefale dette hotellet!

Rent og fint hotell med hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personell. Tilknyttet lite helsestudio samt stort basseng og jacuzzi. Fin flatskjerm på rommet og gode, store senger.
