This supposed to have been renovated, but the tub/shower in my room was not in the best condition. The carpeting wasn't very clean and the room had an odor like it was a smoking room. Unfortunately, I had gotten to the hotel very late and needed to get up within 4 hours so I didn't have time to get with the kid on duty. I crashed and left, but would not waste my money again. FYI - I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago for a very similar business trip and had wonderful service and condition of the hotel. Sad to see it claim to be renovated and nice, when it used to be.

The hotel itself was a good deal for the money. The only problem we saw was that they needed to have another person working the front desk. The poor girl was answering phone calls, trying to check in waiting guests, and it took over 15 minutes to get checked in... way too long for tired travelers. Hopefully they will rethink their staffing model and get some more help available.

The room was alright but there was to many people hanging out outside the rooms smoking marijuana and talking loud. The ice machine shouldn't be in the laundry room it should be on every floor of the hotel. Other than that my stay wasn't bad at all especially for the price...

The location of the hotel is great. The shuttle service to the light rail for a trip into Baltimore was fantastic. The hotel people were vey friendly, especially at check-in. It's not the Hilton, but it was clean, comfortable and cool. Everything worked in the room. Coffee in the lobby is good. Quiet area.

Mattresses and bedding were stained, bathroom cieling had duct tape all over it--holding the ceiling up maybe? Bathroom must, dirty, tub and tiles mildew stained. HORRIBLE, I will never stay in a Red Roof again after this experience.

This hotel is good for the price and location you pay for. I was looking for a cheap one night stay and I got that. I figured out at midnight that the trick to the heating system is to leave it all the way up high and it will begin to get warm. Overall I have no complaints. Just dont park on the backside as their was some teenagers back there half the night talking and making noise.

the proximity to the airport was great especially since the time of my landing and when i needed to be awake in the morning. however the shuttle it's self was falling apart, the door didn't want to close because what was holding it together was duct tape! the customer service when i arrived was very rude. i can understand asking a customer to hold on just a second to answer a work phone that won't stop ringing. but to ask a customer to hold on for a second to have a personal conversation on their cell phone is extremely rude. also there is no real reasturant around you either need to walk to another hotel hoping they have something or get a shuttle or taxi. there were few options to choose from for delivery. also the cleaning staff apparently doesn't pay attention to do not disturb they started trying to clean the room at about 0830 and kept trying two more time while i was trying to sleep. overall for the price i paid and for what i really needed it for it wasn't that bad. however i can say that i will not be staying there again if i have a choice.

I chose this room based on proximity to the airport because I needed to return there early the next morning. The motel's shuttle picked me up and dropped me off quickly and efficiently without hassle. The shuttle even took me to the Light Rail station when I wanted to venture downtown. Other hotels/motels have shuttle service, but are they as affordable and comfortable?

Not the best hotel stay we have ever had. The rooms are clean, but the walls are paper thin. The desk clerk wasn't really helpful either.

For the price and the convenience of this hotel's location I was willing to be very lenient with the quality, but this hotel was terrible. I would not have minded the wear and tear of general usage, but the floor looked like it hadn't been vacumed in a few weeks, every paper document in the room (hotel information, phone book, etc.) had some sort of old, sticky substance that got all over my hands, and the mattress sagged so badly in the middle that I had knots in my shoulders for about two days afterward. When checking in, the young man at the front desk barely looked at me longer than it took to ask for my ID and then continued his conversation with another employee without saying anything else to me, let alone welcoming me to the hotel. A little later I called down to see if they had any plastic utensils as I had nothing to eat a salad I brought and was quickly dismissed without even having the option of asking where to get one in the area. All I want out of a hotel room in this price range is a clean room with a comfortable bed and friendly service, and I recieved none of those things. I would recommend splurging the extra $10-$15 a night and staying at the Hampton Inn next door, at least you would get free internet and breakfast included.

We stayed in this hotel the night before a flight out of BWI. We were just looking for a place to sleep for the night. While this hotel wasn't by any means the best hotel we could have chosen, we got out of it what we wanted. The room was very small though, and the elevator smelled very strongly of smoke.

the stayat the hotle was great other then the gentleman at the front desk. He wasnt rude or disrespectful, he just was not very welcoming. It was hard to engage him other than getting us checked in. The gentleman in the morning was wonderful.

I had called the customer service phone line to ask specifically if the Red Roof Inn Washington D.C. offered 24-hour shuttle service to BWI Airport. The answer was YES! When we arrived at the hotel, I was told no, shuttle service starts at 5am. I needed a shuttle at 4:30am. The only thing he said he could do was call a taxi for me for $15 to go 1.5 miles to the airport. I could have stayed at a nicer hotel next door that did offer 24-hour shuttle service for not much more money. I also asked for a wake-up call that rang much, much too late! I guess you really do get what you pay for!

I have stayed here about three times in the last month. While it is economical the rooms tend to be musty and smokey, and the location is very noisy. On my last stay the adjoining room was extremely noisy until about 1:00 a.m. It took several calls to the front desk to get the problem addressed. They must have given my room number as the complainant because the guy beat on the wall and my door! It was quite frightening! And he still did not turn down the t.v.

The motel was convenient to BWI and Arundel Mills. Wouldn't stay more than one night. If you will only be there to sleep -not too bad. The first room had no heat - so had to change rooms. Bedspreads were pretty gross. Bathroom small and toilet kept running. Front desk staff not very friendly. Beds not very comfortable. There are a lot of hotels in the area - so if you plan on sticking around the area or spending any time in the hotel it would be worth paying more.

I've stayed at a number of Red Roof Inns in the past, and this one was not up to par with the others. I didn't have an iron or ironing board in the room - had to get it from the front desk. Toilet kept running for hours on end, and would only stop when I jiggled the handle. There wasn't a closet, and the bed wobbled a lot. On the flip side, it was reasonably clean and tidy, the staff was courteous (wish they had been more knowlegeable), and there was plenty of hot water. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends, but if you're a college student short on funds, it might not be a bad place to crash.

The hotel room itself was very cozy and well kept. The set up of the hotel was slighty incovenient, however. But it was overall a nice place to stay. It is walking distance from restaurants and very short drive to major highways. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not many amenities. But then again it wasn't expensive. Not a five star hotel but a place I would revisit.

worked for what we wanted, loved the free coffee bar. beds were uncomfortable but not impossible. Would stay here again. Careful if you plan on using the MARC into DC, it doesn't run on Saturdays or Sundays!

Convenient location, exterior of building needs work. The free Shuttle service to the airport and Amtrak/MARC/Lightrail stations to Baltimore or Washington DC is key. There are 4 or 5 hotels that are much nicer in the same area with free shuttle service as well. The nightly rate was a bit pricey compared to the other Hotels in the area which are a bit nicer.

This is a decent hotel by the B.W.I. airport. The rooms are clean and it seems to be a safe area. I think this hotel's price definitely makes this hotel worth staying in if you are going to attend an event near the aforementioned airport

The staff was quite rude and told me 3 different time that I could check-in which was real inconvienient. The hotel was not located near any places to eat the closest places were about 5 to 6 miles away. And then the maids started knocking on the door 4 hours before check-out time which was annoying. But overall if you are just staying there because of a long layover the hotel is in a great location but you do get what you pay for. If you are staying here to for some other reason I would not recommend staying right by the BWI.

Overall, the hotel wasn't too bad. The rates seemed a little high considering the lack of room amenities, but it was still a decent room. I was most disappointed in the staff's customer service. They were not friendly at all; no smiles, no friendly greetings. It felt more like I was a burden to them than a paying guest in the hotel.
