If you don't mind walking, it is very convenient to both Fenway and Harvard. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very plesant and accomodating. There are several resturants nearby, including Dunkin Donuts, Wendys as well as non chains. Parking isn't on site and is not included in the hotel fee.

There was a wedding that night at the hotel, the reception was on the same floor where we were sleeping. The noise level and the music playing were high.

Hotel lobby is beautiful! Rooms are gorgeous with very comfortable beds, adequate size room. Front desk personnel were very helpful and great customer service. Only 5 blocks from subway. Grocery store located nextdoor was very convenient.

My husband, 14 year old son and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel while visiting Boston. It was a great choice for us because for a mid-priced hotel it offered great value and comfort, especially the fact that the recently renovated rooms have 2 queen (not double) beds. My son and husband especially enjoyed the large-screen TV. We did not feel cramped, and with the windows facing a pretty courtyard and Boston's skyline, it was bathed in natural light. I enjoyed sitting in the desk chair with my feet on the bed, reading the Boston travel books and planning our day. Speaking of bathing, the bathroom was very comfortable, with an excellent tub/shower that had great water pressure and drainage. Although located in Cambridge, it was a 5 minute walk to the T station, and then only 3 stops till you were in Boston. We even took the T directly from the airport and walked with our luggage to the hotel. Not a burden.

The room was fine. The parking was too expensive, and the neighborhood is not great for street parking. But what really bothered us was the need to pay to use the pool and fitness room.

Hotel location was great! The hotel facilities and room were clean. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly. The maintenance person had indicated that we should move to another room, but the hotel was full. The air was never fixed. The reservation was for 3 people, but because they were sold out, we could not get 2 queen beds. Instead we got the "last" rollaway bed. Needles to say we were not happy. We had breakfast at Sydney's, but service was not that great. Food was average, not great, but not bad.

When we got there the Bell Boys were wonderful. The desk service was OK but I had booked a room with 2 king beds and we did not get that. We had one king and they brought up a twin size bed so when that was set up there was NO room to move around in the room. At night we had to pull the bed out so you could get in and out of it but them could not get to the bathroom without climbing over it. I was very disappointed. Then in the morning we called for a cart to take out bags and waited for 45 min. Then my son and I wend looking for a cart ourselves. There was nobody working the counter in the lobby when we left. But the Bell Boys were wonderful again. He did not even want to take a tip from me.

We spent only one night at LeMeridien Cambridge, but found the hotel to be very nice. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and nicely furnished. The staff was helpful and pleasant. A short walk to the "T" and many restaurants and cafe's. Parking wasn't included in the room rate so take that into consideration when pricing a hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very pleasant from the moment I arrived to my departure. 1st Class!! The room was very comfortable and very clean. It is located two (long) blocks from the Red line T, which was nice for our day trips into Boston and Harvard. There are quite a few non-chain dining establishments within a 5 minutes walking distance. The few we dined at had great food and courteous wait staffs.

Very nice hotel with terrific rooms. Only problem is the parking fees were quite high. However there is a parking garage a couple of blocks away for half the price and for a nice healthy walk!

We stayed at Le Meridian on the 4th of July weekend after enjoying a game at Fenway. The location was great. It was both very close to Fenway as well as w/i walking distance to the Charles River for the fireworks. The hotel itself was very clean and modern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boston.

I called and confirmed my girl was checking in before I got off work. The Lady in the front desk did not receive the memo, and when i arrived, an upset girl awaited me. After we got to are contemporary room, it got better, and we received a complementary breakfast, which had a fantastic selection, and service. useful: the internet in the lobby, and the concierge.

Very nice hotel with good service. Prices for meals were high. Charging very high prices per night for parking was outrageous. Location was convenient but dowdy once you went a block or two away.

Stayed for 2 weekend nights. All was satisfactory. No complaints, nothing particularly outstanding either. The prescence of a large, practically on-site supermarket made shopping for those extra items very convenient.

LeMeridien was a big disappointment. Way overpriced for the accomodations. Not accomodating to the needs of our party. Paid for an "upgrade" in room. Got the same small room as everyone else and got a horrendous view of a roof with all a/c mechanicals on it! Charged my credit card $100. in advance, "in case" we used any hotel amenities. They did refund it, but I have never had another hotel charge you for something you "might" use. When I called to complain, he simply told me that this was their policy. NO bar. A small restaurant that was closed when we got back to the hotel at night. Big disappointment all around. Other family stayed at the Hyatt Regency down the street and it was gorgeous and it was cheaper! We would have as well, but it was sold out! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating. We had a couple of small issues at the beginning of our stay, which they addresses right away without giving us a hard time. The room was beautiful decorated and very comfortable. The location was great, being within comfortable walking distance from the Central Square MBTA station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful hotel. Nice staff, very nice room. Hotel was convenient to sights, and the rate was very good. My friend went up for a day to see an exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts (one of the reasons we visited Boston) and she paid more per night for an inferior hotel. In fact we only paid a little more than she did for two nights here!

We were very pleased with the overall value of our accomodations; in the difficult economy that we're all experiencing, it was refreshing to find a place (in Boston no less) that didn't feel like a rip-off; as many in this area have, in our past visits to Beantown. The hotel was very attractive, clean, and the service was competent and friendly. We'll return on a future visit.

When we got there, the toilet was backed up and the air conditioning didn't work. It took a number of hours of us sweating in our room before the problem was fixed. There was no offer to switch our room, discount our stay, or add services free of charge to compensate for our discomfort.
