Newer property, quiet neighborhood, above-average sized rooms, very helpful staff. Electric scooters are available for rental and are a lot of fun.

I was there with a small baby and hence it proved to be good to be out of town. The staff were ectremely friendly and the concierge in particular was very helpful with organising bike hire, giving information etc. It is about a 45 minute walk from Dam square but it is well served by two tram lines within 5 min walk either direction of the hotel. I marked down the cleanliness as the room was clean but the bathroom was not spectacularly clean. Also the bed linen was not changed in the 4 days that we spent there. Overall we enjoyed our trip and it suits if you do not want to stay in town. Food was quite expensive so we chose not to eat breakfast there, there are plenty of places within 10 minute walk to eat.

This hotel is at best average. My room was not cleaned properly as the bathroom was still dirtly on 2nd night of stay. Nothing is inclueded internet is at least 10 EUR per hour. Breakfast is not included. It does have parking. It is way out from the centre of Amsterdam (10 min walk, 10 min tram). Close to World trade Centre but that's its only plus point.

The hotel is convenient and nearby the RAI Congress Hall and the Museum Plan. A great place to stay if your business is at the RAI. Friendly, Courteous and Attentive Staff. The room renovations are not yet completed. Will keep returning if the present standards are met and continued.

Super friendly staff and very very nice hotel.

The hotel was very posh. It was perfectly placed at the junction of 5 canals, had a very good restaurant and a nice lounge. The food prices were a bit on the higher side but justifiable for the ambience. It is not far from the centre and only about 15 mins by tram hence the area is calm and quiet but still very accessible. Very friendly staff. Only disadvantage is that there isn't lot of eating places nearby except a convenience store in the Shell gas station that keeps sandwiches.

The hotel is a little further away from city center than most but I must say that is one of the best reasons to stay here. I walked fairly easily to most attractions and had the added benefit of seeing more of the local's areas. Rooms are nice (I stayed in a newly renovated room) and decent size for a European hotel room. The lounge is great for drinks and peaceful evenings next to the marina. I only had breakfast at the hotel once. It's kind of pricey and only marginally good.

Stayed there for the first time and was impressed by the customer service and cleanliness of the room. Worth the price and safety you receive because the parking lot is also gated. Get a room with a water view it is beautiful. A little bit of a walk to the town center but for the most part great location ;)

Bar was closed for redecoration. Completely unacceptable utility bills like carparking 25 Euro for one night. Internet 18 Euro for 24 hours and so on.

Internet 17 euro. Carpark 25 Euro per day. If you stay at this hotel be ready for a very heavy utility bill. bar was close and the resturant closed at 23.30.

I've stayed at this hotel before as it is comfortable and located conveniently from the airport and is just a short walk to the tram station to take a ride uptown. Also a great location within walking distance of the RAI Convention Center. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast is too expensive. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again.

The location was great, near the local transport and not far from the center. In general the hotel was really nice, amazing entrance, friendly receptionist but the problem was the room. Not hovered, dust on walls, hair inside bath and as well on the floor of the bathroom. I reported to reception but nobody came to clean. I put a complaint but nobody reply to me yet

This hotel is lovely, the rooms have recently been renovated and we had a beautiful room overlooking the boating club. The service we received from all members of staff was second to none. We had no complaints. It was a little way out from the centre but had excellent tram services close by.

The hotel is a bit out of the downtown area, but not too far. It is walkable. The room was big and comfortable. The service was nice as well. (By the way, there is a small red light district just up the street, so if that is your thing... it is there for the taking.)

Very convenient to both the RAI center for conferences and several mass transit lines for access to the city center. The staff was very professional and helpful. i would recommend this hotel for both business and vacation travel.

Great deal, very nice rooms and very good location. The room service is overpriced and leaves MUCH to be desired! When checking out, the staff was friendly and apologetic but offered no discount or removal of the TERRIBLE breakfast that they charged 50 Euros for. The downstairs bar is trendy and has a nice atmosphere, unfortunately the bar tender had a bad attitude and made us wait 45 minutes for some water, telling us to "sit" rudely. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was nice nad the location was so-so, but being used to and very capable of walking myself I did not mind it that much. However, the hotel staff were disgusting and truly unprofessional when they began trying to charge for things that should've been included in the price I paid. Fell short of asking 100 EU for the shampoo I used which I suggested they should do to top it off. Even speaking to the manager he seemed very experienced in ripping off tourists as he appeared to be unpurterbed about the whole ordeal and rather calmly proceded about his scam. Luckily, we have Aemrican Express and customer service around here. Hotels.com were not very helpful either. Seemingly willing to play the semantics. Still debating whther to use them again after spending several thousand dollars in my recent month long trip. Almost too late to do it now.

Lovely setting, the view over the canal from the bar & restaurant is breathtaking. Would not want to be in the centre. Very quiet residential area. We luckily had a patio executive bedroom overlooking the canal, lovely to wake up to. Hire a bike at Leiden station cycle round the bulb fields beautiful. Amsterdam is not a cheap city, we found drinks expensive but it would not put us off going again. A quick flight from the UK. We loved the city & surrounding areas, everyoone speaks excellent english. Watch out for bikes. I would recommend the pancake bakery for lunch, near Anne Franks house keep walking passed Anne Franks you will come to it.

The location was perfect for quiet nights, and only a fifteen minute walk from Leidseplein, the Rijksmuseum, and the Van Gogh Museum. If you're looking for something loud and non-stop, this isn't the hotel for you. But if you want luxury, comfort, a good night's sleep, and a short walk to the party, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was good overall, even though you can get to the city center relatively esay by tram, it is still a hassle.

Reception was akin to a building site, reception staff were so slow at both checkin and checkout it was untrue. Not good value. rooms were excellent but not serviced. Gym equipment was broken

The Hotel and staff were very nice. The hotel is located way too far from the main tourist area. Even though the trolley was only 4 or 5 blocks away, it was too far for older folks to walk. The biggest problem was that the hotel restaurant was far too expensive and there were no restaurants close to the hotel. Next time, we will probably look for a hotel closer to Dam Square.

This was our 2nd stay at this Hotel- it is a few easy tram stops from City Centre- but the location is wonderful, wide, quiet, clean streets, and the hotel overlooks the canals- so it is a pleasure to stay there.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Amsterdam for 2 nights at the Apollo Golden Tulip hotel just to watch a thaiboxing show. Everything went perfect and the hotel was just brilliant. Everything was clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was SO comfortable. It is a bit to walk to the center but don't be put off. If you're not lazy like us and would like to save some money its worth the walk.

Can't fault this hotel. Recommended for sure!

We have now stayed at this hotel twice - the previous time it was still owned by another group - and we will do so again. The staff is lovely and efficient, the rooms and public areas (including the gym) are beautiful, comfortable and 100% clean and it is generally quiet and relaxing.

Really nice hotel, 10 min walk to Museums are along the canal and very easy to hop on the tram into town. Only disappointing aspect was that our room wasn't cleaned after the first night and by the time we got back to the hotel and pointed this out, the maids had gone home. Other than that, nice and clean and very good staff who all speak excellent English.

amsterdam is such a small city, nothing is far away. the hotel has amazingly friendly and helpful staff, it's close to tram stops, even walkable (20-30 min) to the city center. worth being able to pay less

when they get finished with construction, it is a handy hotel. Right now it is very noisy all day, and the coffee shop is closed.

The hotel is very nice, but it is NOT in the center of the city. Although it is quiet, it would be quite a walk from the center of the city, and busses and trolleys stop running a little after midnight.

We had a room with a canal view, which was really nice. It's in a quiet part of Amsterdam, so it was nice to get away from the madness of downtown at night. Close to the #5 tram stop that will take you all the way down town. Service was exceptional!

The staff could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful at this hotel. Although we arrive early our room was ready. The museums were close and we received excellent walking directions. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

prix un peu haut pour le restaurant et le bar mais Hotel vraiment très bien et personnel très sympathique. Si je retourne dans cette ville je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner.

Flot 4-stjernet hotel, ca. 20-30 min. gang fra Amsterdams centrum. Hotellet ligger lidt væk fra offentlig transport, så man skal være indstillet på at bruge lidt tid på at gå eller eventuelt at leje en cykel hvilket Amsterdam i øvrigt er perfekt til. Hotellet er indrettet meget flot, og henvender sig nok i særdeleshed til forretningsrejsende. Der var mulighed for tilkøb af morgenmadsbuffet, hvilket vi dog ikke benyttede os af pga. den noget hampre pris (22,50 euro pr. pers pr. dag). Et stort plus kan dog nævnes; Motions- og vægttræningsmaskiner af høj kvalitet i et nydeligt indrettet fitnessrum til fri afbenyttelse i dag- og aftentimerne. (Desuden kan en løbetur i den nærliggende Beatrix park også anbefales).

thi place was perfect for our weekend trip to Amsterdam. Would definitely stay there again. Didn't have any breakfast or other overpriced services (internet, parking a.s.o. is a rip-pff) therefore we were perfectly happy with our choice. It's a good bit of walking to the centre (60mins) but the tram is just around the corner. All in all, good value for money.

Hotellet var kjempefint. God service. Fine rom. Sentralt i forhold til avstanden til sentrum. Trikken går like ved og den går veldig ofte.

Hotellet var helt ok. Dock saknades den där speciella känslan som kan finnas på vissa hotell. Vill du ha det där llla extra är det här ingenting för dig, vill du däremot ha ett hotell som fungerar bra utan den extra touchen då fungerar det bra.

Dejligt og nyt hotel med lækker morgenmadsbuffet, som kan nydes med udsigt over kanalerne. Personalet er venligt og imødekommende, og værelset bliver gjort ordentligt rent hver dag. Hotellet ligger endvidere i perfekt afstand til alle større attraktioner samt hovedbanegården, hvorfra toget til lufthavnen kører - det var en fornøjelse at gå gennem Amsterdams hyggelige gader med kanaler og broer, når man skulle fra hotellet og ud på sight seeing.

Stille og rolig strøk, stille og rolig strøk, men overkommelig avstand med trikken til museum og sentrum. Høy standard og pris deretter.
