Hotel was undergoing construction. Staff was helpful and courteous. Felt it was a little overpriced given the construction and the area, tho' location was very convenient for my needs.

The hotel was much better than I expected. the rooms were super cute, all teh stuff looked brand new! there was also a flat screen tv. The location was perfect, we were a five minute walk to the subway, which took us right in to Boston. It was under some construction but there was no noise after three and since we were in Boston most of teh days we were there anyway, it didnt really bother us. This was a great little hotel.

For us, this wasn't conveniently located. Yes we could ride the subway into town or walk to Whole Foods but felt like "anytown usa". We wanted a more Cambridge experience. Hot tub was cold, but the pool itself was nice. Staff very hellpful. Full breakfast (free) with waffles. Nice bathroom. Great pillows and beds and shower.

This was an OK Hotel, it wasn't very convenient if you didn't have a car but then they were very good at dropping you off at where you needed to be, that means however you rely on the shuttle being available.

Location was not great, but they offer a free shuttle to Harvard and the subway. Staff could have been a little nicer, but fine overall. Great hotel for the price Room was very nice and comfortable, but view and surrounding neighborhood was not good!

Greeted with litter box full of cat crap in lobby which stayed there for hours. This was after we waited a the T stop for a shuttle that never arrivced. Then discovered our room was next to the elevator with a dog "home alone" next door. Everytime the elevator arrived we heard his loud throaty WOOF. Management refused our request to change rooms because "the hotel was booked" even though they clearly were still changing out the rooms.(obviously a control issue). Then we could never get that shuttle because you needed an appointment, (the driver was on permanent break). And lastly, what's the point of giving out a free map when it doesn't include the area that your hotel is in. Our fellow guest were directed to the one computer in the lobby to google their destination and then wait for the front desk to print it out. Meanwhile they were in the back room arguing on the phone with other guest. Next time we'll pay more and stay closer in with better service.

My room was in the corner on the third floor. The room was very dark & had a bad odor. The windows did not open - so there was no way to 'air it out'. The pool/jacuzzi is located in the very front of the hotel - actually just outside the main entrance. It is surrounded by windows so is on display from both the outside (front) of the hotel and from insde the breakfast area. It lacked privacy of any kind. The breakfast was awful!! The hard boiled eggs were like rubber. The "fresh waffles" had batter issues and they came out flat and chewy instead of big and fluffy. They charged an extra five bucks per room for that crap. You have to pay whether you utilze the breakfast or not. The hotel is located literally on a busy rotary. With the exception of a sandwich shop and grocery store - There are no restaurants around it. I would not want to stay here again.

This "Hotel Tria" is a Best Western Hotel. Had I known that I would never have stayed there. It is no where near Boston. It is a ten minute walk to the nearest T, however, you are walking on the side of a highway. There is a cheap continential breakfast consisting of cheap pastries and cereal in a big plastic bin. There is no resturant to eat in. You sit in an extention of the lobby. This place is a dump. I would never stay there again and would never recommend it to anyone. There are many other Hotels, closer to Boston and responably priced that far exceed this place.

Reserved room type was not available upon check-in. Reserved King, smoking room & received two double beds, non-smoking! Bathroom was not clean & TV had loose wires with sparatic picture (static). VERY noisey in early morning hours!! Was woken @ 6:15AM by doors slamming & very loud housekeeping staff. Housekeeping attempted to enter room despite "Do not disturb" sign on door handle!

This hotel had poor customer service. Our room had plumbing problems. (Toilette overflowing, tub not draining during showers) We requested and received a room change, but the second room also had plumbing problems...(Toilette did not flush at all!!) We received a second room change only after arguing with management. At checkout, we described our poor experience with sub-standard room conditions and rude / unaccommodating night management. Management was sympathetic, but explained since we purchased through Hotels.com, they would be unable to compensate us aside from refunding parking. \

This is a remodeled Best Western, and way out of the way for Cambridge. Two stars, not three, by any means. It is next to a Whole Foods and a Starbucks if that is your thing. Also a crummy restaurant, and McDonnalds and a strip mall.

While overall this hotel is adequate and, in fact has some upscale, interesting points (designer soap, plush bathrobes), I was taken aback to learn that it was going to cost me an additional $12 per night to park in an unsecured surface lot outside the hotel and that the continental breakfast that is generally complimentary in other hotels was going to cost me $5.95 per person (we ended up getting fruit and yogurt from the grocery store next door instead). I was also chagrined upon check-out when the desk clerk asked me if we drank the bottled water set out in the room -- he indicated it was $2/bottle. However, there was no explanation in the room/on the water that it was not free. The hotel is also a little down at the heels and worn -- there are two icemakers and neither was working during our stay. On a positive note, The beds were comfortable and, although the hotel is located right on a busy traffic circle, I did not notice outside noise in the room. I might stay there again depending on the situation. My advice, however, is "buyer beware."

This was a great hotel for the money; we were a group of couples, but we saw several families with children and parents taking their kids to the pool area; we requested a refrigerator for leftovers from dinner and one was promptly delivered to the room; the hotel driver, Nelson, was very accommodating transporting us to two different restaurants when we learned that our first choice was booked. Try it, you'll like it!

Recently renovated, this isn't a bad hotel. However, the front desk asked me to sign a document to allow them to charge me $12.00 per day to park in the public parking lot. I declined and they didn't charge me nor was this expense ever disclosed by hotels.com or the hotel until arrival. The rooms were normal size and clean, but the bathroom was tiny. The breakfast was $5.25 per day and we didn't eat there. Little selection of foods beyond toast, a bagel and juice.

It appears that this was once an old hotel that needed fixing up badly. That work does appear to be complete now. They've changed a boring old Best Western and given it somewhat of a spa feeling. There is a pool that is too small for actual swimming, but it does provide a break from the hot tub. There is a decent setup around the pool with chairs and such even in the winter. The rooms are fancy but on the cheap side. It reminded me of a really low budget Westin (fancy bed sheets, hotel CD w/ CD player/clock, etc). The sea fennel/kelp/moss shampoo, conditioner and lotion were pretty nice. The king size bed wasn't bad, but still not close to the comfort you'd find in a W hotel. The price wasn't great, but it was competitive with the other local hotels. Having to pay for parking and breakfast is another way they keep things cheap for them while making the hotel list a little cheaper. Our major complaint was even though we were on the end (near the exit) with only 1 neighboring room, we received multiple complaints about our 'loud TV'. The TV was barely loud enough for us to hear ourselves. There was a door that connected our room to the one next door, so perhaps the sound went through there, or the walls are paper thin. The final thing was that the room's heat didn't really seem to function. The first 3-4 days our room was always cold even if we maxed out the heat settings. The air coming out never got hot. Then the last 2 nights the room was way too hot and turning the heat down didn't seem to make any difference. The heater also blows the curtains around all the time and keeps them slightly open. This causes a fairly bright light to shine through the window all night long (sometimes directly in your face while trying to sleep). The wireless internet worked perfectly for the whole trip which was one of the main reasons we choose the hotel.
