Stayed there with my partner for a Saturday night on a visit to London. Front desk staff were excellent, good manners and efficient. Hotel lobby was very comfortable. Regarding the room and rest of the facilities, it was clean and comfortable and perfectly good for what we needed. In relation to the price we paid, the combination of the hotel's location ( 7 minutes walk with luggage to Liverpool Str Station, 15 minutes walk to the Tower of London) and the quality of the rooms made it an excellent choice, and we would definitely stay there again.

I knew when I booked that this hotel was a business hotel. Very clean, goodsized room, businesslike service. but actually loved the area -- very near bridge to south bank -- by the design museum. just east on whitechapel is the whitechapel museum and just north is the very trendy area recently written up in the nw york times -- spittalfields market with great shopping and restaurants. easy access to tube lines. I also loved seeing signature buildings very nearby like the "gherkin" and the lloyds bank with fascinating modern design. wireless is not superfast. but it's free which is a nice thing when a hotel doesnt make it an add-on. very clean. huge tiled shower etc.

Staff were extremely knowledge about the area and helpful in providing written guides for restsuarants, breakfasts, bars etc in the area. The location is within a short distance of many tube stations and within walking distance of restuarants, shops etc The hotel is a great base for a city visit. It as clean, tidy, and in every way a typical 4* standard city hotel.

Comentado por F, deGalway Ireland, el jul 8, 2009
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the location was great for what I needed as I was on a weekend break, it is in the middle of the City i.e. business district intresting in its own right and close to a number of tube stations and some key sights of interest such as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge which you can walk to via a stroll by the Thames. My only problem is the rooms are slightly dated and mine was very dark but it was a double Queen Bed and a reasonable size, I did pay extra for that over a single. There is no safe in the room a basic in my view these days but that is my biggest criticism so not a lot to complain about. While I highlighted some the negatives overall this was good for the weekend and I have stayed in a lot of Hotel around the world - this is based on Europeasn expectations. It was the weekend and the Business district is very quite, not a bad thing, and most places are closed but you can easily to other areas and even when they are open they tend to be expensive because it is the business district.

The staff were very helpful especially when I couldnt find my confirmation code to chcek in. The free tea and coffee in the lounge area was a nice idea. The area around the hotel is very quiet at the weekends but is close to Smithfields and Petticoat Lane markets for browsing and eating on a Sunday morning.

Comentado por C, deBrentwood, Essex, el abr 14, 2009
The hotel was very pleasant and ideal for an overnight stay in London. We arrived early in the morning, and were able to check in early, before the 3pm usual check in so didn't have to carry bags around all day, this was very useful and we weren't charged any extra for the privilege. Hotel was clean and comfortable ideal for the overnight stay. There is not much open around the area however is an ideal base for traveling all over London. Close to lots of tube stations and over weekends is a quiet area, ideal if you are looking for a peaceful nights sleep. Quality for a decent price within London i would recommend.

Was very impressed by Club Quarters Gracechurch. Staff were friendly and helpful, loved the location (right opposite Leadenhall Market and in the business district with easy access to loads of sights) and thought the room was clean and well equipped. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in London!

The reception staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. Because it's in the business area nothing is open at the weekend, and even the pub next door closed at 7pm on Saturday, however the tube is close and it's easy to get into the centre. My only complaint is my room was very hot and even with the aircon at max I couldn't bring the temperature down, and no biscuits on the tea tray!

Comentado por B, deDublin, Ireland, el mar 31, 2009
We stayed here for a weekend as attending a concert in The O2. We have never checked into a hotel as easy or as fast as we did here. There are 3 touch screen monitors for checking in/checking out and all you do is swipe your credit card and confirm your details. It even issues your room key. The rooms were very clean which is my top priority and big enough. Theres tea/coffee making facilities in the room and also at reception. I thought this was a great idea, they have a room on each floor with extra towels/pillows, tea /coffee/milk and an ironing board/ iron, you just help yourself. Theres a few shops/pubs around the hotel, that close early saturday night but buzzing on a friday night. Its a few stops on the tube to the centre of London but I thought it was nice to come back to the hotel away from the hustle and crowds of the centre. All in all really enjoyed staying here and would not consider staying anywhere else but here if I ever visit London again.

Comentado por Joey, deLanghorne, el mar 30, 2009
This was my second stay at this hotel and I found it even better than the first visit. For those with business in the financial district, the location is great. The rooms, although somewhat Spartan in the decorating are nevertheless comfortable and clean. If you are traveling on vacation and staying over a weekend, you might want to try a different location, as there are no shops or restaurants open in the immediate area. The one caveat would be if you are making the Tower of London a focal point of your visit as it is within a short walking distance. I will stay here again in the future.

Hotel very efficient ie great value, good shower, good bed no luxuries. If you are wanting to stay in London and dont have a Sir Alan Budget, then this ticks the box. However, only use the hotel as a stop and sleep. Facilities are basic and amenities in the locality limiting. Conclusion: No complaints, good value, sleep and go.

This hotel is situated in a business area which can be too quite during the weekend. This hotel might not suited the traveller who first time visit london since the underground station which close to this hotel is closed during the weekend. Despite of the location, it is a great hotel. I do recommend to other traveller who would like to stay in a quite place in london but not far from the city. The staffs are very friendly. The size of the room is not too small and the room is clean and tidy. There is a good coffee and tea avilable at the hotel reception for guest. There is no charge when we left our luggages for a day before we leave london.

Comentado por W, deGothenburg, Sweden, el mar 3, 2009
Arrived at Liverpool St Station from Stansted just after midnight on a Friday. It was a short (<10 min) and safe walk to the hotel. I had notified of my late arrival and the receptionist had already checked me in, so I got my key directly. The room was smallish, but I was travelling alone so no problem. The room was clean, very comfortable and with good facilities .. even an iPod docking station and free internet. The staff were very helpful and courteous throughout my weekend stay, up to and including my checking out at 04:00 on the Monday morning. Breakfast was £10-15 and reasonable quality and variety. The hotel has a spacious reception area with comfortable armchairs and internet access. The location is convenient if travelling round by tube or bus and is <15 min walk from St Paul's Cathedral. I didn't believe it in advance, but it is true that everything (shops, pubs, restaurants, etc) is closed in the Financial District area around the hotel. On the plus side, the area is relatively quiet (and safe), on the negative side, no pub or restaurant open close by the hotel. Nonetheless, I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone as a good value base for a weekend in London. I believe Club Quarters have another hotel closer to St Paul's and this might be an option for those wanting a pub or restaurant open on weekend evenings. Gracechurch ... lovely hotel, great staff, great value !

I was pleasantly surprised at what I found. I had always stayed at another location of this hotel but had stayed away from the Gracechurch location because I had mistakenly thought that it would not be as nice. I was proved wrong! I was impressed with the seating area in the lobby which was bigger. I also liked the room which was modern and sparkling.Loved the fact that there was distilled water on every floor with bottles to use. The location of the Business Center in the basement made for a more quiet and peaceful use of the computers. All in all, I was delighted with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was good value for money and provided a clean and comfortable base for our weekend break. The room was large, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable furthermore, the bathroom was modern, clean with a fabulous shower. Do be aware that this district is strictly business, so everything is open Monday to Friday but very little is going on at the weekend. Even the Wetherspoons pub next door was closed Saturday night and all day Sunday. However it is close to the Monument tube station so it's easy to get to livlier places. I would stay in this hotel again and I would fully recommend it to others.

The hotel was very clean looking and nicely decorated. Self check in machines at the entrance of the hotel made check in quick and easy. The room was nicely decorated and contained everything to make our stay as comortable as possible. In our room we had TV, fridge, kettle, hairdryer and mp3 speakers! As we were travelling in a group of 4 we managed to get two rooms beside each other without fuss and also with our own small hall leading to the main corridor. For those who like to party (such as myself and my friends) the hotel provdies free chilled bottled water on each floor. Perfect after a drink too many! There is also access to the pub next door from the hotel. This hotel is also less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest Tube and is a brilliant starting point to get to where you want to go in London. Well worth the money as this hotel was very reasonably priced and in a prime location to explore London.

The best value in London. If you have interest in historical aspects of The City this is a great location. It was very close to the Old Grey Lady of Threadneedle, The Royal Exchange, and the Lloyds building. We enjoyed exploring the alley ways behind the hotel, apparently there's a ghost. We stayed on a bank holiday weekend so finding food had to be done farther a field, but the hotel is very close to bus and Tube.

We were a little worried because of the other comments that it was a bit out of the way and that the neighborhood was dead at night. We didn't think so at all. The Metro station is right there and it is so easy to just jump on and get to where ever you need to go. The neighborhood is quite lively Monday - Friday night, but not much is happening on Sat. or Sun. We just chose to go into the city those nights, so it just wasn't an issue.

The major problem with this hotel is the location. If you are in London on financial business, it is ideal. Any other reason and it is inconvenient. The problem arises at night when all the local restaurants and pubs close (and they are all closed all weekend long) so you are stuck getting on the tube to go someplace where there is life. Room service is outrageously expensive.
