"Extremely comfortable hotel"

Very nice hotel for the money. Conveniently located, although somewhat difficult to leave going west because of traffic. This could be avoided by going around car dealership and coming out with light. Front desk offered suggestions for places to eat that were delicious. We loved Jalapenos. We were on ground floor by the pool and front door and it was still very quiet. Would definitely stay here again

"Serviceable"

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the front desk staff were great. Housekeeping was spotty, the pool in the center of the hotel made the whole place smell like chlorine, and my view of the parking lot was unparalleled. This is a serviceable hotel that is conveniently located near I-5 and a monstrous Fred Meyer. We were in town for a wedding and most of the other guests were staying there so we stayed there, too. I think we overpaid. If you can get it for +/- a hundred a night, that's about what it's worth. I've paid less for better.

"Great Hotel, Easy Access"

GREAT LOCATION, RIGHT OFF OF I-5 BUT YOU DON'T HEAR IT. STRAIGHT SHOT TO DOWNTOWN BELLINGHAM. EASY ACCESS TO WWU. HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS A NOISY AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT. THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME STAYING HERE THIS YEAR AND WE WILL AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

My friend got drunk and knew where I was staying and they gave her a key. I came back from dinner with another friend to find her passed out on the bed. It doesn't say much about my friends, but it could have been any person who knew I was staying there in my room...

"Nice Hotel - Weird Location"

This hotel was very nice and they made an exception allowing my Great Dane to stay there (for an add'l $25/night) since they have a 25lb pet policy. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfy. Its location was odd since it was behind a Fred Meyer and there seemed to be homeless people living in the surrounding forest. A bit pricey but worth it.

"Best Western Lakeway Inn"

I was a little leery of staying at a Best Western (I had even tried to book at another Best Western in the area, but it was full), but my daughter and I needed a place close to Western Washington University, where we were to visit. But the room was clean and comfortable and my daughter was delighted that there was a pool (she went swimming), although it had too much chlorine in it. The front desk person was very nice & efficient and printed out several directions for me quickly. We missed having a microwave in the room and wi-fi was out the next morning. It would have been nice to have had breakfast available, but the coffee was free. All-in-all, a good hotel for the money & convenient location.

"Great room and great service"

The most friendly staff, very accomodating. Front desk Made dinner reservations for us at a great Italian restaurant. Pool area was very clean and had adult time. Very close to WWU--we will go back there again.

"clean, but a little over priced"

clean hotel, centrally located and nice to have the martini bar connected to it, however, for hotels in Bellingham this one was a little on the pricy side and did not even have breakfast....... The other best western just up the freeway is about 30-40$ cheaper/night, just as clean and nice WITH an amazing breakfast buffet.

Check where your room is located on the map before you accept the room. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We had previously stayed here many times and had rooms in different locations. This time the room had an interior window which opened to the enclosed pool below. The clorine smell and noise were overwhelming. We chose to keep the window closed and the air on for our stay. The room has no natural light. The room is well appointed and recently redecorated. Very nice. If it had been on an exterior wall I would have been very satisfied. This hotel is near family which is why we choose to stay here. The value (without the problem of the window and no natural light) is very good.

The hotel is very nice, bed was very comfortable, front desk was very curtious. If you want an above average hotel in bellingham this one is great.

It was much better than my expectations. The indoor pool and hot tub was great and the room was very clean. Definitely a going-back hotel!

"Clean, quiet, conveniently located to WWU"

Very pleasant stay in the spacious and clean room. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Bellingham, WWU, and I-5, so getting to any destination is easy. Surprisingly quite considering the property abuts I-5, and our room was on the 4th floor on the interstate side.

Staff is very welcoming and personable. Rooms are well appointed and the beds are fluffy comfort. The pool area is very nice and unusual.
