Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre - Bruselas

A terriffic hotel well situated for getting around Brussels and the rest of Belgium if you are using public transport. The hotel itself is modern and well equipped and the rooms comfortable. The metro station is almost next door and it is just around the corner from the Gare de Nord. I would certainly stay there again

Only fault was that the shower bracket was broken so the shower head had to be held by hand. Air conditioning was excellent, very quiet and kept the room cool.

Often stay in Brussels - this hotel is good value in a good location - prices tend to vary dependant on season or period - however if you can get a good deal you can't go wrong

Location wasn't the best however it wasn't the worst either. It's clean and comfortable.

Stayed here for five nights whilst going to the Carnaval de Binche and some other local places. The hotel is large and seems a bit impersonal as a result, and although I did not have the check-in waits others have reported on, saw it a problem at certain times. Location convenient for the Metro (there's an entrance almost outside the hotel) with restaurants nearby. The Grand Place is a tram ride away. Didn't sample the bar, or eat other than breakfast. Used the sauna a couple of times, which was over 100 degrees and could do with being c 80-85 like most saunas.

Well located and serviced business hotel with good levels of comfort and service. Not somewhere you particularly want to hang out in, but the rooms are well sized and light, with unintrusive decor.

Stayed here because it was in centre of Brussels but found that the reception staff were not particularly helpful. If you need to use the internet that is only a 90 minute option costing too much. The restaurant was closed. The breckfast was much too expensive, almost half as much again as in the fashionable Grand Square. The shower rail was loose on the wall.

the hotel was close to the tourist area, train station, shops and had a tube station at the front door. it was an ok price, and the staff were lovely. breakfast wasn't to my tastes as i am a fussy eater, my traveling companions said they enjoyed theirs as it was well cooked and cleanly presented . my only gripe would be that i found my bed (the third in a tripple room made from a sofa bed) very hard and slept poorly. on a very positive note they gave us extra time for check out free of charge.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel welcome and very special. Would highly recommend this hotel

We really had an awesome stay at Thon Hotel. The room was nice and comfy. We had the best sleep for ages. Couldn't have asked anything more from the room/hotel. (except bathrobes, which I thought belong to the rooms, but realised they come with the deluxe package?) Having a sauna on the 29th floor! Awesome idea! All of this was topped with the best buffet breakfast, you had everything we need to start a good day of sight seeing, we could even enjoy small lunch because the breakfast carried well over all day.

The hotel was not bad. Th eonly unfortunate thing was their internet was a complete rip-off. E20 per day is not acceptable. I would go somewhere else as a business traveler just for that.

Only a couple of things let this hotel down... 1. Two single beds pushed together with two separate duvets which is not what we constitute as a double room. 2. The shower was impossible to adjust - either a red hot power was or a cold dribble was on the menu! And finally... 3. Only one cup of coffee each was provided per day. They could have been a little more generous with the tea and coffee making facilities!

This hotel has absolutely no charm. The rooms are small, and not very well equipped. The service is too casual, the breakfast average, and everything feels a little run down. There was no iron in my room, and when I requested one it didn't turn up. Finally, after over 30 minutes a member of staff picked up my short and had it ironed for me. One of my colleagues got a room that was already occupied. Thankfully there was nobody in it. Location is ok, but very bland. Nothing happening in that area. Breakfast was average, stay away from the terrible scrambled eggs! The only redeeming feature is that the rooms are cheap, so it's ok if you need somewhere to sleep for a night and nothing else.

room was very small even for European standards, the shower was likewise small and the curtain clings to your body when you shower--and I am petite! Also, the retaurant was often closed for various reasons like "the chef is sick today." what?!!?

Very small room with inadequate storage for two occupants for more than a night or two. No adequate working surface. Extremely high charges for internet and telephone services. Communications to AT&T Direct blocked from Lobby Pay Phone. No direct routing of incoming callls and inattentive operators.

Hotel provides warm facilities, reasonable breakfast. Handy for the tram and metro, though the area is not the most salubrious in Brussels. Not too far from Brussels Noord- if you arrive by Eurostar the connecting trains are free and not too long to wait. View over west of the city from the top floors.

Hotel in the right place for just walking into town, to see the city sites & shops. 5 to 10 min away from train station. funny how you have to go down stairs to get into the hotel lobby. hotel staff very helpful & friendly

The sidewalk in on one level, but the reception area is a stairway or elevator ride down. There is no one at street level to take bags in. We got someone to take our bags up to our room only by complaining (2 people, 4 bags, one was 86 years old). The hotel was very comfortable, however. Nice breakfast, bar. Some reception people were nice, others cold.

The service was the worst I've had of the ten hotels I've stayed at in Brussels. Also, the interior decoration of the rooms is ugly.

Maid did the least cleaning possible. Basically all that was done was my bed. My shampoo and soaps did not get refilled. It most likely was that I took my own shampoo, but I use the hotels to wash my clothes. This was actually the first hotel I have ever stayed in that did not replenished shampoos and soap. Everything else was awesome, location was great! Hotel provided map of the city, room was clean, staff were very friendly and spoke English.

Super beliggenhet, nær togstasjonen og handlegata. God frokost og service. Reine rom.

God og venlig betjening - god standard.

Trevligt hotell, rent och snyggt överallt. Vi hade ett litet problem med avrinningen från duschen. Det fixades innan vi hann säga till. Sköna sängar och bra städning på rummet.

Av very attractive internet bargin for 3 nights . However all other costs were very high. Internetaccess was €20 per 24 hours!!! Breakfast was €17 and so on. The reception area and conference facilities are nics but standard rooms are - standard. In my smoke free room I found a an full ash tray! Otherwise no complaints.

Hotel évaluée 4 étoiles, mais plutot un bon 3 étoiles à mon sens. Bien situé, on peut se ballader à pied sans souci. Parking payant mais facile de se garer gratuitement dans la rue. Chambre agréable avec vue sur la ville, literie trés confortable. Mini bar un peu trop cher. Sauna trés sympa au dernier étage!

Positivt ved dette hotellet: gode senger, sentralt, området rundt virker trygt, bbc på tv, vannkoker, et supermarked vegg-i-vegg. Og noen ganger er det helt greit å bo på et stort, upersonlig kjede-hotell, og for det anbefaler jeg gjerne dette. Dessuten ligger hotellet 5 minutters gange fra Noord-station, slik at du slipper å reise via Centraal-station for å komme til og fra flytoget.

This hotel suffers from real mismanagement. First of all I got in and found a chocked man, only lightly dressed in my room. It turned out they gave me the wrong room. My two colleagues had exactly the same experience, apart from the fact that they did not find a man in the room, just a bunch of lugage from other people. At homeI have small kids and use to check the status of toilet paper. Never really bothered in a hotel, but one needs to do that... I found out too late. Come to the reception later to check-out and explain the toilet paper thingy. "Did you call us?" was their question. "Shall we bring up some paper?" was their next. "I WANT TO CHECK-OUT!". I can strongly advise not to use this hotel if you want to have a good night.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre de Bruxelles qui offre un confort adapté aux voyages d'affaires.

Veldig sentral beliggenhet, og grei pris.

Fantastisk beliggenhet, både sentralt og i forhold til kommunikasjon, kollektivt og taxi. Nært shopping, severdigheter og trygg følelse. Bodde på "Exclusive"rom, og veldig fornøyd med det. God hjelp i resepsjonen og god frokost.

Posizione buona, ottima struttura e molto pulito. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. La sauna all'ultimo piano con vista mozzafiato sulla città vale sicuramente più di tutto! Buon soggiorno a tutti!

OK hotell, men er varierende servicemessig. At jeg bestiller rom med inkludert internett, men nærmest må krangle meg til det når jeg ankommer, er lite servicevennlig. Ble også belastet ekstra for en frokost jeg aldri spiste. Har bodd ved dette hotellet 4-5 ganger i løpet av siste året, men velger et annet neste gang.

Zimmer sind eher 3-Sterne-Standard. Immerhin gab es ein richtiges Deckbett!

Thon Hotel ligger godt for besøg til Bruxelles centrum og i gåafstand fra jernbane og metro. Værelse og morgenmad var glimrende, men betjeningen kunne være mere hjælpsom.

Bor her når jeg er på møter i Brussel, på grunn av plassering i forhold til offentlig transport kommunikasjons midler. Og bra badstue med fin utsikt.

super hotel,super chambre,super petit déjeuner,a votre disposition solarium,sauna,salle de fitness(excellent).Petit bémol même au 21éme étage nous entendions le bruit des sirènes de la police et comme l'hotel est situé en centre ville il y en avait souvent des voitures de police (mais franchement pas trop désagréable)
