I've stayed at this hotel a few times. I love the location. The pool and whirlpool are clean and inviting. I would recommend this hotel to travelers that are on a budget and need a safe/nice place to stay.

Location was great. Close to beach. Beds were not comfortable and room needed painting.

This was a good priced hotel for the location. The hotel is old and shows it but the staff was very nice and helpful. Some of the rooms need some paint but it was clean! So if you are looking for a place just to lay your head and not pay an arm and leg for it, this is your place! I will probably stay there again. Nice pool and spa 1 block from the beach. They do have kitchenette type rooms and those appeared to be in better condition than the regular rooms.

We encountered several problems during our one night stay. The sink was clogged and remained that way until our departure, there was no alarm clock, no coffee maker, no ice bucket or glasses, one table lamp for entire room, and holes in the walls of the restroom. The management was willing to comp a night for all the trouble but only during a weekday night; Monday - Thursday.

I had the best time at this hotel! It is quaint, quiet, and perfect for a family or single person. My room had a little kitchen and two four post beds. It was clean and the staff was very helpful. I plan to bring my entire family next time. Thank you for the wonderful time!

"Good hotel, except avoid Room 107"

We were originally put in Room 107 and were so upset with the condition of the room we almost checked out the next day. AC was broken, walls were dirty, plastic mattress cover on the very hard bed, no windows, old TV . . . However, as we were walking through the hotel we noticed the room next door was being cleaned and saw that it was so much nicer. AC worked, nice window, room was cleaner, bed was more comfortable with no plastic cover and flat screen TV. We asked the front desk to move us and they did - the rest of the trip was much more pleasant thanks to the new room. Avoid room 107 and the hotel is well worth the price.

"Needs major improvements"

Very run down but we were only looking for sleeping room and that was clean and acceptable. Kitchen area only had a hotel style beverage frig so that was a minus. Kitchen utinsels and tableware were minumum and mismatched. BADLY in need of painting, facelift and bathroom renovations. But people were very nice and the place was quiet.

The Hotel is close to the water and is clean, however, the cable wire was pushed through the out side wall and was alying on the floor. The rooms are older and doors falling off the dressers. In all fairnes for the price if you can live with an older room it is OK, I would probly stay again only for the price.

I booked a one bedroom suite, but there were none available when I arrived. The overall experience was about what I should have expected from a one star hotel. That being said, it is a great place to stay if you are young, and don't spend much time in your hotel room when you travel.

We go to San Diego once a year a wanted to stay at a different hotel bad idea it looks much better on the computer its very ghetto dirty and had rats in our room we were on our anniversary and had to leave early because of the rats we will never stay here again and would recommend this hotel to nobody its cheap and that is what you get.

"too much for the quality"

good location one block to the beach- decent on the outside but the room was very plain the "suite" was just a economy sized kitchen. sound from other rooms kept us awake not many restaurants/bars to walk to.

No Hot water in the mornings for a shower the tubs are not working tubs.. ie. for a bath, no internet, very small rooms

this hotel was ok.. me and my best friend rented the room just as a get away and a place to crash after our night out by the beaches... the hotel was pretty much what we expected not the greatest but the price and location was right. my only complait was that there was people in the pool (that closed at 10:00pm) till 5:00am in the morning and even after other guests asked them to be quiet they laughed at her...there was no mangager to be found :(
