Hotel Wartburg - Mannheim

The hotel is very well situated in the central portion of the city. It's about a 20 minute walk to the railway station, so it's manageable if you don't want to splurge on a taxi. My room was rather small but probably within the typical range for European hotels. The lobby staff was very friendly and helpful in every way, with good English fluency. The breakfast each morning was top notch, beautifully served in a very elegant ballroom and with lots of choices including American-type eggs and sausage. Overall, it's a great choice if you are somewhat mobile and don't mind a bit of a walk to get to the heart of downtown.

Although room not huge it was comfortable and clean, with a single bed, sofa and table and chair. Hotel in quiet side street close to the shopping area.

I had a wonderful stay. The main shopping district was 6 blocks away. There are many reastraunts and pubs close. Just note that if you have never been to Germany, everything closes around 6PM Monday to Friday and is closed on Sunday. The fun things to do in Mannheim are in the area between the Watertower and Shopping district - its about 12 blocks. The only real complaint I have is the lack of Wireless Internet availability in the guest rooms. I had to go to the lobby to use it. The service was great and the people at the front desk spoke very good English. The morning breakfast was wonderful.

It was clean, had a tv, shower, hair dryer, and a huge breakfast. I found it very typical of hotels I have stayed in europe. The bar downstairs was awesome. They only have internet in public areas of the hotel so I worked from the bar most evenings (coffee). Internet was free and phone calls to the states were the cheapest I have ever seen at any european hotel. I found it to be a great value especially since I paid double my last stay at a 4 star, that I didn't really think it was much different. I would add that also typical of europe it would NOT be a handicap or wheelchair friendly hotel. There is an elevator but there are steps to get to it.

Chambre comfortable et propre, excellent petit déjeuner

sehr zentrale lage, sehr freundliches Personal, aber die Servicequalität während des Frühstücks ist leider schwach.

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Hotel Wartburg. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber. Nur die Sauberkeit von WC und Badewanne ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet (TV, Radio, Telefon, ....), die Geräuschkulisse absolut in Ordnung. Man muss sehen, man befindet sich in optimalster zentraler Lage, also kann es nicht hundert Prozent leise sein! Aber die Geräusche von draußen störten keineswegs, selbst bei geöffneten Fenstern in der Nacht nicht!! Die Tiefgarage ist nutzbar und ok, auf unsere Wünsche wurde gut eingegangen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut bombastisch!! Alles in allem ist das Hotel Wartburg Mannheim also für einen Kurztrip absolut empfehlenswert!! Sowieso, wenn man Preis und Leistung vergleicht, auch mit anderen Hotels. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Einfach nur schrecklich!!! Alt, ohne Rolläden. Das saght schon alles.

vriendelijke staf, parkeergarage beschikbaar, centrale lokatie op loopafstand van congrescentrum en stadscentrum, ruime nette kamers en een goed ontbijt. Enige minpuntjes zijn het krakkemikkige kleine liftje en de wals-muziek in de ontbijtzaal. Al met al zeer tevreden!

Hotellet hadde fin beliggenhet i sentrum og god frokost. Hotellet har ikke blitt pusset opp nevneverdig de senere år, men holder likevel en OK standard. Utsjekk innen klokken 11.

la struttura è piacevole nel suo contesto, il piano bar, la colazione e il ristorante turco ricercano uno standard elevato. Le stanze purtroppo no. La pulizia è completamnete assente ragnatele e polvere sono sovrani e, l'aria nelle stanze non viene mai cambiata. Non consiglio l'hotel nè per i turisti nè per chi come me è in viaggio di lavoro. Tutto diventa non confortevole, la stanza per prima, ma la connesione ad internet o assistenza della reception sono un miraggio

Godt overnatningshotel, nemt at finde fra motorvejen super morgenmad (sædvanlig Tysk standard) indtaget i MEGET flotte omgivelser.

das Frühstück war besonders gut. ich hatte ein großes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. das Personal war nett.

Albergo dista un chilometro dal centro, una piacevole caminata fino al centro. L'albergo è accogliente e il personale gradevole. La colazione è davvero Internazionale ed abbondante. Sono stato 5 notti, unico contro le campane incessanti della domenica da una chiesa vicino.

- Bis auf die dreckigen Gardinen, akzeptabler Gesamteindruck. + Das Frühstück findet in einem besonders großzügig gestalteten Saal statt.
