Shower didn't work. No ironing board or hair drier. Mattress wasn't comfortable. Next time I'll just pay more and get a room at a better place.

The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was very clean with all fixtures looking new and in good condition. We needed to be in Malibu by 5am the next day and the Good Nite Inn was in a perfect location for us to still get a good nites rest and be on time the next day.

To find a cute little Hotel for the price I paid in this area was a great surprise. Beautiful landscaping and cute pool area surrounded by scenic pine trees in the middle of Calabasas. I think they needed a new mattress in my particular room but other than that it was a great stay!

I was a bit sceptical after reading the reviews posted, but since the price was right and 20 minutes from Malibu, I couldn't complain since I wasn't planning on staying the room 24/7! My room was on the second floor and I did not hear the freeway or any my 'neighbors'. Room was simple and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

"nice hotel for malibu location"

the Hotel location is excellent if your visiting the beaches of Northern Los Angeles, and Malibu. You wont find a cheaper hotel closer to the Malibu, and this one is just 3 miles from malibu state park wich is fun hiking trails. the pool and hot-tub area is nice and spacious and thats what one me over the most. The room was tiny, and the breakfast wasnt anything more than coffee and plastic wrapped muffins, so sleep in..

We were in a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Our sheets had blood stains and the carpet was filthy!!! Besides the cleanliness of the room the service was good and I guess we got what we paid for.

Dirty carpet, no shampoo or soap, very bumpy beds, smelled of mold, no iron, and room alarm went off a 2am. Very suprised that a hotel in Calabasas would be this bad!!!!

Nice clean room. Albertsons , Taco Bell, Mcdonnals within walking distance. Clean inviting pool. Free breakfast limited to juice, coffee and muffin. So glad we stayed here rather than the coast 12 minutes and much more expensive. Perfect for Pepperdine business.

a little out of the way, but great access to 101 freeway, and beach. the kids loved the pool and i loved the hot tub. there are a few fast food places, a starbucks and a grocery store right near by, so shopping is convenient. rooms nice, smallish, but adequate for what you are paying, a typical hotel. loved the fridge in the room, and the wealth of kids channels. would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the LA area, without wanting to pay the price for the beach front hotels, or be stuck in the hollywood/downtown areas.

"Nice location but Unclean hotel"

This hotel was not bad at all. It's in a great location and has a great little pool. Down factors: rooms were very small and unclean. Also be aware of the smoking room, it almost resemble a crack house with a very nasty smoked out smell. But overall I would keep staying there in a non smoking room and when there isn't as many children around. Great price for location

The neighborhood is quiet and very accessible. The drive to Malibu is short and beautiful. The hotel is clean.

"Exactly what I was looking for"

Was on a business trip and needed a reasonably priced place to sleep. The Good Nite Inn in Calabasas was the perfect place for me. Close to a shopping center with eateries in walking distance. I will go there again.

The Good Nite Inn, Calabasas was a perfect respite for our staff while on a business trip in the area. We only stayed one night, but the hotel was very clean, nice pool, and the AC worked fantastic. It's a bare bones room, but what more do you need if you're spending time in the area?!

The hotel needs to update the shower head. The water pressure was weak. I had a hard time washing my children's hair because of that. Everything else was great.

"Good value, great location."

Killer location, right on Malibu canyon road (a.k.a. Las Virgenes rd). Drive right down to the Pacific Coast Hwy. If you are expecting fancy digs (like my girlfriend) might not be for you. But if you are looking for a basic place to sleep, conveniently located to some of the most beautiful coastline in the world, this is it. Sure the carpets are a worn, breakfast is sparse, internet extra charge, but bang for the buck is very good.

Friendly staff and a nice room for the small price. Not much amenities but who would expect it for the cost!? I will stay there again when traveling in that area.

At the last minute we decided to drive up the CA coast for the 4th of July so hotel rooms were very limited. We wanted to get north of L.A. to start our trip. So this place worked out well. It's a short drive down to Malibu and the CA-1. It's pretty quiet, clean and reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised.

Our stay was great, except for the complimentary breakfast that was to include orange juice, coffee, muffins, and pastries between six and nine. We had an employee remove the last few remaining pastries right out from under our noses before 9:00.

This hotel is very clean, quite, and located close to very good restaurants. It also has great access to the freeway for ease of getting around.

Its a nice hotel... nothing tooo fancy, bt its comfy, the room was ok size... pool was nice and so was the hot tub.. :) in a nice area with lots of places to eat... loved it... for what i paid for.. :)

"great room for the money"

great price on a street right off the freeway and that takes you straight to the beach...restaurants and grocery store in walking distance from the hotel. television needed a little maintenance and there was no mini fridge but it was clean and really cheap.

I needed a place that was simple clean and served the purpose as a place to stay with minimum accomodations. Good Nite Inn was clean, easy to check in, had a decent bed, cable, ice, and pool. It was simple and worth every penny I paid. Not glamorous. But not unsightly. I would bring my own pillow next time though... they have some real flat lousy pillows.

Hotel rooms in Malibu area are outrageous. So I stayed at the Good Nite Inn. Not a great property but for the money spent it is a good value. Disappointed that the towels were not larger and better and that the bed was so uncomfortable. Even for a discount hotel that was below standard.

Dirty carpet- very true.Wear your shoes! Other wise not so bad.Very close to Zuma beach-15 minutes on las vergines rd.Close to Hwys.For this price its ok-thats not Cesar Palace!
