Todos los hoteles en Malá Strana"Great Hotel in the middle of everything"
Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el sep 4, 2009.
The hotel is located very close to the Charles Bridge in a very picturesque but noisy neighborhood with no air conditioning (which I do not mind). The room was quite big and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

This hotel is at the center of everything. A block walk to the Charles bridge and a corner walk to the tram. Mac Donald is just across the hotel. Lots of good restaurants around the area. Exceptional service from the hotel staff and free internet. I will stay again at this place when I return to Prague.

I have travelled around the world but the service I experienced in this hotel is the best. The receptionist (Monika) will go beyond her duty to assist any customer in need. The location is perfect for any tourist. Breakfast is supppppppppppppperb! You can't find a better hotel than this one. I highly recommend this hotel. gb

just half a block fron the Charles Bridge and all public transportation - encouraged brathtaking walks across bridge to the city and to the castle on our side but gave us the convenience of getting home late by subway or choice of trams. charming supermarket and all neighborhood conveniences (like pharmacy) within a block. free wifi in the lobby 24 hours was a convenient plus. our room (101) was lovely and large with windows in three directions. desk was helpful and provided print outs of directions, trains, etc. desk was also knowledgable about events in the city, not just sending us to touristy kitch entertainment venues.

The location of the Charles is great. And by the end of the first day, the staff became increasingly helpful. But the initial impression is one of not really caring whether you are comfortable or what you might need. I was there for one night. When I requested some soap for my room, I was told the Charles doesn't give out bars of soap. Instead, I was given tiny containers of bath gel that was so hard to get out of the container it was practically useless. Clearly, the staff doesn't care about whether patrons can easily wash their hands. I didn't think asking for usable soap was too unreasonable, but I was treated as if it was unreasonable. The noise was awful. I got into Prague in the early afternoon and tried to take a short nap. Workers were in the hotel using hammers, saws, and other loud machinery making renovations. I was so tired I did sleep a little. But that night, two sources of noise woke me up every 15- 20 minutes. A loud whistling noise occurred everytime someone used water in the sink, shower, or toilet--all night long. The other was street noise; I heard a couple arguing loudly--screaming at each other and some noise that sounded like physical violence--right under my window. This happened at least 4 times during the night. Other than that, the room was comfortable, the staff became increasingly informative and helpful over the 24 hours I was there, and the computer in the lobby, once I figured out how to use it, was useful. The location near the bridge is great. But the staff and owners need to work on developing better hospitality, reducing the nopise factor, and responding better to requests from patrons. Ear plugs and easy to use soap in every room would be a place to start.

The hotel was very charming and the staff was courteous. Floor to ceiling windows and lush drapes and bedspreads. Hand-held shower in bathroom. Complimentary breakfast in cellar has many choices of fruits, breads, meats, cereal, etc. The hotel is located near The Charles Bridge and in walking distance of numerous sites. There are also many restaurants closeby. The steak restaurant below can get a tad noisy though. I would definitely stay here again.

The Charles is in the heart of mala Strana..1 1/2 blocks from the Charles Bridge..a few walking steps from everything..the room had a nice size, comfortable and clean beds but do not expect any luxuries..bathroom was clean but tiny...tv was a little 19 inch old very basic....need to consider that it is in an old historic building... they have an old hot water heater system..you must shower early in morning or they run out of hot water by 11 am..breakfast was okay, some eggs, pastries, cereal and coffee..concierge/front desk people very kind and helpful
