Hotel staff was cordial and reasonably helpful, rooms were clean- however the people in neighboring rooms may as well have been inside our room as we could hear them even at whispering levels. Plan on renting a car if you stay here, though there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that will take you to City Centre, the busses in this area come very very infrequently and are rarely ever on time.

Found lump of dried toast on my pillow which questions the cleaneness of the rooms! Very noisy on a Saturday night as a lot of drunks seems to stay there because it is a bit cheaper. Liked the swimming pool and kids pool. Resturant poor and breakfast cold. Difficult to get to.

This hotel was staffed with wonderfully helpful people! They allowed me to check in early with no additional charges. The restaurant was first rate, with very good service and food. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The only negative was that to use the pool and jacuzzi area you had to purchase a swim cap and rent a towel as the hotel towels were not allowed, which I thought to be odd as it was a significant charge to soak in a tub! Overall, this was an excellent hotel to stay in, especially if you are a golfer or on your way to the south of Ireland!

Fyi the pool is not heated. If you don't have your own towel you have to rent one and no hotels towels allowed and you rent a shower cap. I have no complaints. Free parking in their garage. Easy access to bus and 10 minute walk to Airbus stop to airport. from the city the bus number is 69. Would stay again.

This hotel appears to be mostly a new build with the original old building still is use also. The hotel public areas are nice but unfortunately my room was in the older section. The windows were drafty and frames starting to rot. The room was too cold even though heating was on fully. There was no remote for the tv and the tv itself was poor with no manual volume control so couldnt use it. Table lamp not working. Noisy bathroom fan. Dirty cloth left on bathroom floor where it appeared the cleaners were working. One towel looked like it had been used.

lovely hotel, convenient location, nice pool/leisure centre. Evening dinner was nice, and not too expensive. Overall very happy though, nice friendly staff also.

The only downside was the kids could only use the pool until 6pm. The staff were great and the pub food was great and very reasonably priced. I would definetly use this hotel again.

This hotel doesn't have much in the way of atmosphere and beauty, but is a great place to stay if you want a very comfortable and clean room, large beds, and modern facilities. We found it to be the most affordable option when we booked as well, and felt it was well worth the money. Highly recommended for the traveler who is looking for all the creature comforts without too many frills, or an authentic ambience.

Although the hotel is out of the way, the bus service from Dublin city centre to the hotel was very good, prompt and frequent. When we booked the room we assumed it would include breakfast. It did not and the site did not give any options to change booking requirements. The price for breakfast ranged from 10 - 30 euros. Very expensive and in my opinion tries to take advantage of being quite isolated. Staff friendly.

Everything about this hotel was very good except its location. This hotel was as locally situated to dublin as heathrow is on the doorstep to leicester square! The walk to the tram stop Red Cow took aproximatley 30-40mins, and then the tram took a further 30 mins to get in to town. Whilst this may not seem a great inconvenience to some, most of the walk was along side of a busy motorway. The Taxi fare to the hotel from the airport was 46 euros, and 38 euros to town. Other than that, a very nice hotel.

The hotel was well sign-posted so it was easy to find, but is on the outskirts of Dublin. Driving from airport or port recommended as alot of roadworks and local transport not readily available. Check-in was fast and extremely polite and help with any quiries with patience and understanding. Especially as we had our daughter with us - get hotel for families!! The room was spacious and clean, housekeeping staff friendly and approachable. Food in the Bar was good value for money and you get to mingle with other guests as well as the locals that live nearby (only bar in area) Both staff and locals were really friendly. Car parking facilities were great as you could enter and exit via a lift to the car park instead of having to go through reception. Didn't use the spa and leisure centre as stay only 4 days but seemed impressive all the same. ***If sightseeing in Dublin try to plan your day in advance and if visiting places like The Guinness Storehouse buy tickets on line as the queue there was shocking to get in***** Overall this hotel was a lovely peaceful place to stay and wouldn't hesitiate in coming back with all my family in the future.

The bus from outside the hotel took roughly an hour into the city - Mostly sufficient but we used taxis which cased the cost of the holiday to go up. In 4 days we spent 100Euro on travel. Being outside Dublin was an advantage as we stayed while there was a Rugby Match on. We enjoyed the atmosphere but were glad we didn't get any of the noise. Some amenitites close by with buses to liffey valley - we found it much like cribbs causeway. It also had a cinema there & some shops stayed open til 10-even on Sun. We were happy with the room & found that room service gd (7.50 4 toastie, chips & side salad) The hotel staff were ok, but never saw a smile from anyone. The food bar in the reception serves s/wiches,cereals & other snacks which we found v convenient. The Pool was free to use but be aware that you are required to wear caps provided by hotel. The pool same depth at both ends, Jacuzzi was broken, steamroom lovely. Pub nice & we had a few drinks there. bring a coat as toilets were FREEZING!! Generally really gd place to stay...would go back, but not rushing to do so.

I didn't have high expectations about this hotel due to reading one or two adverse reviews - but I was pleasantly surprised how nice it actually was. 3 night stay at this hotel, in October (2 adults and a 9yr old) in a large, triple family room on the first floor at the back of the hotel (away from the main road, so hardly any traffic noise). Extremely clean and comfortable room, which was cleaned daily. The swimming pool is free to guests at selected times - these times were clearly displayed in the information folder which was in our room - (we swam between 11am and 1pm - the pool was almost empty). Towels for swimmers are also available at the pool reception. The hotel has a gym (which I didn't visit), spa treatments, steam room and jucuzzi. There is free guest parking in a multi story right next to the hotel. (we hired a car so can't comment on the other transport). We had two lovely meals in the restaurant, which was good value for money and child friendly too. Child meals were 10 euro for a main meal, drink and ice-cream. Proper cooked meals - no chicken nuggets on offer (thankfully). We didn't experience any problems with any aspect of our stay at this hotel and would definitely return.
