Mercure Paris Lafayette - París

After staying at another hotel the night before for double the price, I feel this was a better choice. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean! The lobby looked as if was being renovated at the time but none the service and rooms were of quality. The nieghborhood is great, tons of places to eat.

I thought it was nice and clean but as they said, the double rooms is not that big but it was clean and near shops and place of interest. the hotel does not have a big eating area but the staff are all nice.

For the price, a very good room. I found the location was fine, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again.

I was traveling solo in Europe in May and booked this hotel for the end of my stay before the flight home. I specified non-smoking room and since France has gone non-smoking in hotels and restaurants I did not expect this to be a problem. I was put in a smoking room with a view of an airshaft. The remaining rooms on the floor faced out into the street but they were for double occupancy. Since I did not spend much time in the room, I did not object. Although there were ashtrays in the room and the bathroom, the room did not smell strongly of smoke. Not an ideal hotel for solo travelers. The neighborhood was quiet but it was three blocks from some fairly interesting neighborhoods. It is two blocks from the Folies Bergere. The area is lively and diverse.

Jättetrevlig personal, väldigt fräscha och fina rum. Ligger nära tågstation och metrostation, många restauranger - bra läge helt enkelt. Jag kan verkligen rekomendera detta hotell!
