As a central location, you could not wish to have a better place to explore the history and sights of Rome

Staff unhelpful. Two staff stand like guards overseeing breakfast. Room was well below standard of other four star hotels.

Disappointed in the service in the lounge/bar area. Very RUDE individual that caused all of the guests witrh us not to recommend this hotel. The Front Desk personnel were helpful and polite. The Breakfast was very good and good service.

Stayed at Mondial 4 nights. The greatest asset - only 100metres from Metro and buses. Twin room was a good size - decor a bit tired - but comfortable enough and clean. Breakfast was fine - reasonable variety for size of hotel. Found staff very helpful.

The bed was like a rock. The staff ( except for a few)was less than friendly. They would comment "it would be easier for us if you do it our way or that is alot of trouble for us". The breakfast was good but the host was very unfriendly.

Having spent two weeks in Italy (including a brief stay in a nearby Rome hotel of similar rating when I first arrived), I was expecting something very different for the price I paid. The elevator was very rickety, and it was unable to carry more than four people, due to its weight limitations. The room was the smallest I got during my entire stay in Italy, and this room cost more than most. Whenever we exited the hotel, we were required to leave our key at the front desk. The key came on a heavy weight in order to ensure that you would not leave with it. This made me very uncomfortable, as the (rude) staff then knew whenever I was coming or going, even at night. Finally, the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. It was described, I believe, as "luxurious", but it featured cut-in-half boiled hot dogs, posing as "sausages". The bread rolls were great. In fact, they were the best feature of the hotel. Four stars? Maybe if the rating is out of ten.

We turned up at the hotel in the early hours (four hour flight delay), the reception staff were freindly and efficient as was the porter, who fully explianed the room features to us (without hanging around afterwards waiting for a tip!), the room was clean but dated, however, everything worked from the TV to the "frugally" stocked mini-bar (a wider choice is available on request), we dithed our bags and returned down to reception to see if we could get a drink, sadly the bar was closed, but the reception staff pointed us to the delicatessen/shop/cafe/bar next door where we grabed a late drink and bite to eat (open until 02.00, except Sunday). A good breakfast selection available untill 10.30 each day. A great hotel in a good location for seeing the sights and access to the transport network, also loads of top eating places.

This hotel is in a good location, very close to all the big sites. The staff was very helpful and had great tips on where to eat. The down side to this hotel was that the room was so small that it was barely big enough for the bed without much room to move around. The bed also wasn't very comfortable. This hotel is good for people who aren't planning to spend time in their room except to sleep, but would recommend getting twin beds and pushing them together in order to get a good night sleep.

Good location to be centrally located but that is about all that was redeeming. This was the lowest quality four-star hotel we stayed in on an entire 3 week trip. Far from good restaurant area, however easy to get to by subway. Room quality not that great, can find way better rooms in Rome for the price.

The hotel was in excellent condition - luxurious foyer and entry hall. Rooms are on the small side, but extremely clean and well-decorated. Staff spoke good English and dealt with requests quickly. Very close to Termini Station (about 2 minute walk) and, therefore, could get Metro easily (surprisingly short ride) to sights such as Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. There was a wide variety in the breakfast which was included (cereal, pastries, bacon, sausages, eggs etc.). Only downside was the egg shell in my egg.

Spacious rooms, near train station. Up hill walk when returning from all but North of the hotel. Walking to Coleseum and Spanish Steps area further than expected. Any other sights too far to walk except for those youngsters who want the exercise. Not many restaurants in immediate area. Comfortable with willing staff and great full service breakfast. Internet access in lobby using hotel computer. Comfortable full bath with shower in room. Hop on and off bus routes nearby and a good way to get around.

First what we did like - the breakfast buffer was outstanding. Lots of variety and very nice room. Hotel staff was not uniformly helpful or freindly. Our room was much smaller than anticipated based on the pictures and we were dissapointed to find that instead of a bath tub we had a very small stall shower with a cloth curtain (very messy). The hotel was clean enough but overall not what we expected for a four star hotel.

Great room for the money, great customer service, great location in Rome to site see and great access to resteraunts. Can take a taxi from the Rome airport or train since the hotel is a couple blocks from the train station. City tour busses close and advice to take one prior to other tours or in conjunction.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummen relativt rymmliga.För lite galjar och ganska lyhört.Bra städat. Bra frukost.

Et okay hotel med det der skal være og god service, dog ingen wow effekt. Belliggenheden er klart det bedste men den er til gengæld også i top i forhold til at komme rundt til de forskellige attraktioner. Tæt på metro og i gå afstand til det meste.

L' albergo non è stato ristrutturato di recente, il bagno non è all' altezza di un albergo a quattro stelle. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Colazione continentale di qualità.

die rezeption ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit, leider nicht der gepäcksträger!- dem muss man tip geben, ansonsten weigert er sich das gepäck aufs zimmer zu bringen!!! ziemlich frech,... die zimmer sind total abgewohnt, kaputte möbel und teppichboden. würde dem hotel max. 3 sterne geben. zu meiner überraschung war das frühstück für italienische verhältnisse ganz ok, auch der hoteleingang und die lobby sind ganz ok. hatten zimmer 108 und 414 - wie erwähnt sehr abgewohnt, aber ganz ruhig - kein strassenlärm war hörbar!

Aangenaam verrast door de actuele ligging van het hotel. We kregen voorts de keuze uit twee kamers. Hoewel de kamers zich aan de straatzijde bevonden was er geen lawaai-overlast. De airco werkte prima, zonder hinderlijke luchtstromen of geluiden. Het personeel was voorkomend en efficient. Er was een heerlijk rustige, comfortabele lounge om even in weg te duiken. Op 5 min. loopafstand van het Termini station, en 150 m. van het fraaie Piazza Republica. Prima!

Prima hotel voor een verblijf in Rome. Vanuit het hotel is de stad prima te belopen en mocht je de metro willen gebruiken, ligt het station om de hoek. Vriendelijk personeel, gratis gebruik van internet in de lobby. Kamers vrij klein, maar als je de hele dag in de stad verblijft is dat geen probleem. In hoogzomer kan ik me voorstellen dat een zwembad welkom zou zijn. Helaas is dat niet aanwezig.

Meerdere restaurants in directe omgeving, goede uitvalsbasis voor tocht te voet, met metro of bus. Hotel met zeer goede prijs/kwalitweits-verhouding. Ben je savonds moe, goed retaurant om de hoek.

Albergo ben posizionato, a 10 minuti a piedi dall'altare della patria e a 15 dal colosseo, con ottimi servizi nelle vicinanze. Comodissimo per chi arriva da Termini o usando la metropolitana (la fermata Repubblica e' a 50mt). Buona struttura, colazione nella norma e personale ammirevole.

Buon albergo, camera spaziosa, pulita. Colazione a buffet varia e di buona qualità. Vicinissimo alla stazione Termini (raggiungibile a piedi).
