Mercure Paris Suffren Tour Eiffel - París

WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL TWICE HOW, ITS A GREAT LOCATION RIGHT NEXT TO THE EIFFEL TOWER,THE ROOMS ARE SMALL BUT COMFY,RIGHT NEXT TO THE METRO, BREAKFAST IS NICE BUT EXPENSIVE TWENTY POUND EACH

This is out second stay in the hotel, that should tell you what we think about it. Eifell Tower is within a few hundred yards from the hotel. There are a lot of choices for dining in the neighborhood. Room size is about average for Paris, but very clean.

Best thing abt the hotel was the proximity of it to the Eiffel Tower (amazing) and the hostess, Ms. Garcia who was extremely helpful. I guess the location got it a 4 star rating. Ouch, a USD60 breakfast for two; could have prepared same with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot @ home.

The room was small and not very clean. The doors to the bathroom and toilet were looked like they were taken from an airplane bathroom. Not worth the price....

We couldn't have been more happy with the hotel and especially the location! The room was naturally small but extremely clean. We could see the Eiffel Tower from our window (be sure to ask for that view and above the 8th floor!!) and enjoyed the light show every night until 1am. The hotel is still in remodel stage, but it wasn't a problem and the staff was very helpful. We never used the bar or restaurant as there are so many nearby choices. We especially enjoyed the creperie around the corner. Also the location is very convenient to the RER and Metro (within a block each). The Seine is a block away as well-dinner cruises and barge tours available right there. There's also a phenominal open air market around the corner and down a few blocks on Wednesday and Sunday mornings-not to be missed. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Upside: Very close to a Metro stop and the Eiffel Tower. Helpful, English speaking staff. Downside: No computer available for using the Internet and high prices for their wireless access like most European hotels.

Great location to walk to the Eifel Tower. The rooms are efficient but if you are used to luxurious hotels then it is not up to the US standards. The rooms were clean and the hotel is well kept. No coffee makers in room was disappointing, things that we take for granted. Overall it is a good hotel.

I stayed with my girlfriend just one night. But next time I will go to Paris I will choose diferent hotel. The room was very small and there was a big problem with parking...

The hotel is in an ideal location just blocks from the Effle Tower. Here are some things to consider: 1) Even though we booked a non-smoking room months in advance, they had given out all of the non-smoking rooms when we checked in. We were stuck with a smoking room - and if you are smoke sensitive (like I am) this can be an issue. 2) The hotel does not have air conditioning. Depending what time of year you go, this can be an issue - it was pretty hot in the room at times and we where there in Oct. 3) Breakfast is not included in the pre-paid rate. They will tell you all about the breakfast, where to go to get it etc...then later you find out it is 21 Euros a person - way more than most cafes! 4) The hotel is decent - think Holiday Inn - even though it says it is a four star hotel, it's not what we would consider four stars in the US. Go for the location, not the rooms. The staff are nice and helpful with questions.

Great location, literally 3 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower, and 5 mins walk to 2 Metro stations. Room was typical chain hotel - clean, comfortable and pleasant, but no character. It could have been in any city in the world. But that also means there are no unpleasant surprises. We were on room only, and breakfast would have been nearly 20euros each per day - we didn't bother, instead buying brioche from the local supermarket. Staff were helpful and friendly, and fixed a fault in the shaver socket the same day. The cleaners didn't tend to knock first, but that may be because the doors have locks on the inside, which we didn't realise till the end. If you want to keep them out in the mornings, lock the door! All in all, a good place to base a long weekend in Paris.

Hotel is less than 5 minutes walking from Eifell Tower. Room size is better than I expected for Europe. Great cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Tour bus stop and metro stations are just around the corner. Very safe neighbourhood.

Like the location, but hotel needs a bit of repair. Wall paper in hallway was falling off.

It was very nice for the money. Great location, helpful staff. Close to everything.

Parking is not included in rate, parking was 25 euro a night which adds about $40.00 a night on to the bill. They also automatically add the brestfast meal of 19 eur a night to the room, They did remove it without a problem at check out. The room was nice, however the hallway was in need of repairs. You don't sleep in the hall however it sets the first impression for the room. We had a nice view of the tower from our room, make sure you are at least 8th floor or better - if not the hilton will block most of the view. I don't think you can find a better location.

freundliches Personal saubere Zimmer

Hotellet ligger alldeles nära Eiffeltornet och Champs de Mars. Det betyder promenadavstånd till flera sevärdheter. Hotellet ligger ändå i ett lugnt område. Bra rum med fransk medelklasstandard.

værelset er temlig beskidt på væge og loft samt malingen skalder af vægne i bad/wc og temlig dårlig service ved morgen maden fra personalet . men god og høflig betjening fra skranke personalet

Det er et super godt hotel med en meget god service og betjening

Op het hotel viel niets aan te merken, behalve de afwezigheid van engels of duitstalige kranten. Een hotel met de pretentie van internationale allure kan zich niet beperken tot franse kranten en een foto kopie van high-lights van buitenlads nieuws.
