Kyriad Paris La Villette - París

We were just looking for a cheap place to stay close to the metro station without too high standards. However, this hotel was great. About 2 block from the Metro 7 line (Crimee) station which goes straight to the Louvre (and other lines you can connect to). The street it was on was nice.. cafe's and such open fairly late.. not too much crazy traffic either though. We got a triple room (1 double and 1 single), comfy beds.. despite the reviews i had read the bathroom/shower was a good size (so shower curtain/tub though, but maybe that's a french thing). Free Wifi which was nice. Reception was very nice and spoke English. The breakfast wasn't all that great for the money, but convinient i guess. Overall a great value for the price. I would stay here again anytime.

This was not a great hotel, nor was it a nice neighborhood like the description from hotels.com listing leads you to believe. The Cons: The rooms do not offer a safe, nor do they even offer "Do Not Disturb" signs, a little thing a I know, but I've been in thousands of hotel rooms and this is a first for me. My family did not feel safe in the area, homeless people all around this neighborhood. They sleep on couches and have living rooms set up on the street, so they must be a permanent fixture. The streets are all under construction so forget about sitting outside in one of the few cafes that are nearby. The restaurant closes at 10:30pm. The "bar" if you want to call it that, is serviced by the restaurant so by 11pm it is impossible to get a drink or coffee. And lastly, there is no internet (wired or wireless) in the rooms. The internet service in the lobby area is horrible. The Pros: The one and only advantage to the hotel is its proximity to the metro. Two stops are within 2 blocks in either direction.

We spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay in Paris. The biggest plus of the hotel is that it offers secure parking for a very reasonable fee. It is also close to the subway which is really the only way to travel around Paris. The room itself was below what I would consider good. This was mainly due to the fact that the carpet was old and dirty and the walls needed a serious coat of fresh paint. The furnishings and beds were old but still in decent condition. The bathroom is small and the shower is VERY cramped. However, compared to the cost of other hotels in Paris and our experience later in our travels with a few other facitlities, this hotel actually was quite good. It was also apparent that they are making renovations to the hotel so perhaps some of the negatives we found (Dirty carpeting and needing a fresh coat of paint) will be fixed soon. The Internet service provided is sub standard. It is only good for browsing a few websites and basic e-mail. I needed more bandwidth than what was available for VOIP and business usage so I was unable to really do much. Seems it is a DSL connection shared amongst the whole hotel so using it early in the morning was much better than trying to do anything in the evening. The staff was friendly and most spoke english quite well. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling on a budget and arriving in Paris with a car

Stayed in a family room, good size, clean. Ate at the hotel all three evenings good choices from set menu in english.Two courses 12euro, three courses 14euro. Staff friendly and speak english well. Didnt bother with breakfast, at 9euro/5euro children thought it was expensive.Took ceareal bars instead,tea,coffee provided in room. Well placed for Gard du Nord and metro.

Excellent budget hotel. This hotel has its own car parking garage (12 Euros per day)

This room is a basic hotel room, but not bad for the money. The rooms were ok, showers incredibly small, but some rooms had tubs (my parents). We had a nice view from our room, but the view from my parents room was unattractive apartments. Parking was really small and tight. We had an SUV so getting in was ok, out was tough. The staff was fantastic and most spoke english. One clerk even helped us map out our metro route and stops. Metro is about a block away as are ATM's. Restaurant was pretty good although I though breakfast was a bit pricey. Standard european fare. We would stay there again.

Pleasant staff, room was pretty big. Didn't eat or drink there, just used it as a base. Had a family room for 3 adults & 1 child. It was ideal for our purpose. Well positioned for the metro. Would go back.

close to metro station. many ethnic restaraunts in area. one Indian restaraunt makes great French crepes.

We found this hotel to be perfect for the price we paid. It was a block from a Metro stop, and although it was further from downtown the lower price made the ten extra minutes spent on the subway worthwhile. If you need to go back to your hotel room frequently, it may not work out but we spent the entire day away from the hotel so it was fine. The best part was that we arrived at 9:30am on the day we checked in and they let us into our room right away. I have never had that happen at any other hotel. Note that the shower and elevators are quite small. What do you expect in Europe?

Kyriad provided a clean, safe, convenient and reasonably comfortable place to sleep during a few days in Paris. Secure indoor parking was a plus. Two-minute walk to metro station, so getting around town was easy. Staff had limited English skills, but were generally friendly and helpful. Restaurant is pretty limited, OK for quick breakfast of bread/cheese/coffee before heading out.

this hotel is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of down town paris but close enough on the metro for conveniance to all tourist attractions and the hotel staff are very accommadating and food in restuarant is great

HOTEL PERMETTANT UN ACCES AU CENTRE DE PARIS SANS CHANGEMENT DE LIGNE. ACCUEIL TOP AVEC SERVICE DE QUALITE. RESTAURANT PAS CHER AU PIED DE L'HOTEL. A CONSEILLER SANS HESITER. UN PEU DE BRUIT SI FENETRE OUVERTE ET CHAMBRE COTE BOULEVARD.

Hotelles helhed er fin, men området omkring er ikke noget specielt. Dog er der gode mugligheder med metroen ind til centrum.

Vi boede to børn + to voksne i et stort værelse. Meget roligt om natten. Restaurant med god mad. Morgenmad dog ikke særlig spændende - men fransk! 3 minutters gang til Metro linie 7. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

Service de bonne qualité. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable et dévoué. Je suis resté qu'une nuit mais j'ai vraiment apprécié.

Plein centre de Paris. idéal pour une pause entre deux avions. Restaurants à proximités

Sauberes, angenehmes Hotel mit freundlichem und kompetentem Personal. Zimmer 104 war einwandfrei in Ordnung. Zimmer 105 konnten wir nur mit offenem Fenster benützen, da vermutlich ein Syphon defekt war (Geruch nach Kanalisation).

Der Empfang war freundlich und zuvorkommend, und für die Autofahrer eine Garage, was für uns von Vorteil war.

quite worndown cityarea, but the hotel was nice, the staff very friendly and the restaurant hade reasonable prices, good food and excellent services. the room was kept tidy during our stay and for the low cost it exceeded our expectations.

Nahe and der Metro gelegen, daher gute Anbindung in die Stadt (10-15 min).

zeer hulpvaardige receptie, met dadelijk aanbod de auto onder het hotel te parkeren. Voldoende en snelle liften. Vriendelijk, gastvrij personeel in dienst. Ontbijt was voldoende tot goed te noemen.

Randlage dank Metro ok, 4-Bett-Zimmer sauber und einfach eingerichtet, kein Kühlschrank. Anlaufstation für viele Reisebusse, daher morgens viel los im Hotel.

L'ACCEUIL EST TRES AGREABLE, LE PARKING EST TRES PRATIQUE. HOTEL TRES CALME. ODEUR DE TABAC DESAGREABLE DANS LA CHAMBRE ET MOQUETTE UN PEU DEFRAICHIE. PETIT DEJEUNER AU BUFFET COPIEUX....

Direkt in hotelnähe gibt es nicht so viel. Aber der Metro liegt in der nähe mit eine sehr gute anbindung an der Innenstadt und schöne gegenden.

Très bon accueil, service et prestations super, je suis très enchanté de cet hôtel que je conseille à tout le monde.
