Hyatt Place Dallas/North Arlington/Grand Prairie - Grand Prairie

I caught this one when it was running a special, but even at the regular rate it is still a great value. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is kept up to a level that rivals any 5 star. Very convienient to Six Flags The Ballpark and Cowboys Stadium. Will deffinitely stay here again.

Rooms are very nice with a huge couch/sleeper. I will be returning. Very near all the activities in Arlington.

WE really enjoyed our stay. We had a quiet and relaxing evening. The staff was very helpful with anything we ask of them. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

The only complaint I would have is there was a Ranger's game and a concert going on at Cowboy's Stadium added to normal rush hour traffic causing a traffic nightmare and full restaurants. Everything else was great.

Our room was wonderful. There was 4 adults and two teenagers. Everyone slept great. Staff was working all the time to keep hotel clean. Breakfast was really good as far as cont. goes. The only thing I would ask for is more towels in room. Location was perfect for Rangers and Six Flags and Hurricane Harbour, just don't miss your turn! Stayed two nights and would definitely use this hotel again.

Stayed here for a baseball weekend with the guys. Room was clean, comfortable, and updated. TV was great. HD with HD channels. Perfect hotel for us on our guys weekend. Although, I wouldn't mind staying there with the wife either. VERY roomy, great casual area, and bedroom area. Internet was free and wifi worked well. Wish I we could have stayed longer than we did.

I planned a mini-family reunion of sorts using the Hyatt Place as a reasonably priced lodging hub for our Arlington activities. The DFW metroplex was an approximate halfway point for family coming from Oklahoma and San Antonio. We played in Hurricane Harbor and took in a Rangers/Red Sox game at the Ballpark. The only knock on the whole weekend was a trip to the Arlington Memorial Hospital ER to sew up my daughter's forehead after a mishap at Hurricane Harbor. Such is life. All of the family agreed that the Hyatt Place was a highlight of the trip. We received warm, friendly, personal attention from the hotel staff any time we visited the spacious and stylish lobby. We found the continental breakfast to be varied enough and more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. The staff arranged a free shuttle for us to the Rangers game and always were on the spot to remove used dishes from our breakfast. I can't say enough about how impressed we were with the responsive professional staff--the manager on duty basically befriended us over the course of our two day stay. The AC in our room didn't get as cold as I would have liked, and our mini-fridge didn't really keep our drinks cold either, but that's nitpicking. This is the second Hyatt Place experience we've had (different locations) and they've both been extremely positive. Bottom line, would I take my family to a Hyatt Place for a family getaway again? You bet I would.

family vacation,17 miles from jfk sites,minutes from rangers ballpark,water park, six flags and 15 minutes fron stockyards in fort worth. Night staff was outstanding, but everyone was great.

This hotel was about one mile from Six Flags. The ammenities were excellent and the staff was VERY helpful. If you are going to Six Flags, Rangers or Cowboys game, this would be the place to stay. About 6 miles to the SW is a great area for restaraunts. About 10 miles to the north is Grapevine. This hotel went beyond our expectations.

The hotel overall was fine, only two things really bothered me. The shower looks like the ones from summer camp when I was a kid, no tub or anything to seperate the shower area from the rest of the bathroom. Just a tile floor sloped to the middle with a drain. Also the TV was a large, flat screen which was nice but it was impossible to make it work right and sometimes wouldn't even have a picture. Room design was neat and clean.

The hotel was great! The staff was very friend as we walked in and out they greated us everytime. The hotel is right down the street from Six flags and Hurricane Harbor so it has a great location. The only thing that could have been a little better was the parking and the elevators everything else was OUTSTANDING!

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to future guests. The hotel is conveniently located to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags Over Texas, Ripleys, and both the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys Stadium. All these attractions are within 5 miles. The room is big enough to fit about 8 to 9 people if need be. Two things that I did not like was the fact that the beds appeared to be full size beds and not queen beds like advertised. The second thing is that the television sometimes took a long time to load the channels. Other than that, I will definately be back at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The room we stayed in had a comfortable king bed and there was also a large sectional sofa in the seating area that could be used for sleeping (a couple of kids could fit on it). There was a lot of open space in the room even with the bed, couch and desk. Sink/dressing area is separate from toilet and shower, and there is another large mirror over the minifridge area (with plugs). This makes it much easier for multiple people to get ready at one time. The only drawback was the shower - it had a unique glass panel door, but the design allowed water to leak out all over the floor no matter how the door was positioned.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Elisa provided wonderful customer service during our stay. Room included a 40 inch flat screen with HD programming-just limited on channels. Yet, had all the connections for game consoles, dvd players, etc build it next to unit. Shuttle to Six Flags was perfect. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. I will definitely be staying here again. Only disappointment was breakfast. They had a very elaborate set up for off brand cereal, toast, and fruit that was not fresh. (I saw them empty a plastic container labeled "cantaloupe in syrup"-downright disgusting.) Thank goodness Ihop was only a few blocks up.

Overall, our stay was wonderful! The room was clean (except for some items left in the fridge) and spacious. The large flst-screen tv was awesome. The staff was able to recommend a great restaurant that only locals knew about. The only complaint we had was breakfast. It was fine if you want cereal, fruit, bagels, and toast. If you want anything else, you have to order it at the usual room service prices. However, there is a Cracker Barrel right across 360, so there are other options. Very close to Six Flags, the Ballpark, and the new Cowboys stadium. We would definately stay again.

i liked that we were a mile from Six Flags and the staff was super. The first room we had smelled of mildew and the carpet was wet near the A/C. The staff was nice enough to move us to another room which smelled better but the carpet was wet as well. We were also told that they had several complaints on the same situation and it was just a problem they were having with the A/C units. We were able to live with that for the 2 nights we were there. Overall our stay was good.

Hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms are very spacious! Very friendly staff!

Condition of hotel was good minus the a/c issue. We stayed 3 nights and with the a/c on high speed cold, the room NEVER was 100% cool. We actually went out and bought a fan it was so bad. And it was cooler in Dallas by more than 10º degrees from our home town. It didn't help that the bed had a down comforter and down pillows in the heat of summer. Hotel was stingy on supplies too. There was no soap provided for the shower, only the sink. Beds were okay the first night. After the first night, none of us could sleep on them. TV looked good at first glance but when you went to change the channel it was like using a computer on dial-up! I can say we won't stay at this particular location again or any other Hyatt Place for that matter.

Suite rooms are nice and are available at a reasonable price. Hotel location is a few hundred yards back from the freeway so noise isn't a problem. Hotel grounds are very mundane.

We came to see the soccer game at Cowboys stadium. The hotel close to the stadium as well as six flags and Ranger stadium. It was a nice place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accomidating.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was quite sufficient, but the other items were avaialble for purchase were also available. Location is PERFECT if you're doing the "tourist thing" in the DFW area.

I booked a room at this hotel because of the great reviews I read and there was a special going on which made it sound like a steal, and believe me, it was! When we first walked into the lobby, I was very impressed with the new, contemporary decor. The lady who helped me check in at the front desk was very friendly and offered us a tour of the gallery which we politely declined because we were very tired, but it was still a nice gesture. Our room was beautiful! There was a spacious lounge area with a huge couch! There was also a partition dividing the bed from the couch a 42" swivel flat screen t.v. so you could watch it in the sitting area or in the bedroom. Everything looked new and updated with a modern Asian theme and granite countertops. The comfort of the bed was not bad, but not great, however they gave you extra pillows which were all very comfortable, we slept very well on them. My favorite part about staying here was the shower! Now, the bathroom is a little small and has only a standing shower, but the shower is huge and has a rainfall shower head! It was heavenly! I could have spent my whole vacation in the shower, you will love it! I can't comment on the breakfast because we chose to sleep in and skip it. I also can't really comment on the pool or fitness room because we didn't use those either. I did see the pool from a window though and it looked nice enough. This hotel is also very close to Six Flags, Nokia Live Theatre, and Ripley's Believe It or Not so if you ever need to stay in this area I would definitely recommend this hotel, we had a great time there!

I have stayed at this hotel twice in two years both for my first and second anniversary. The first time was in Sanantoino on the river walk. We arrive at check in. Our room is not ready, we wait an hour and a haf to get a room. For our second anniversary we stayed at the one in north arlington. Once again our room is not ready, we wait an hour and the person that checked in right after us room was ready...i was extreamly disapointed and will never stay at another hyatt again and will not recommend it to anyone ever.

Overall it was a great experience. We didn't quite get the shower since it only had half a glass folding door and this caused the floor to get soaking wet and a hazard. This was a poor design. We thought that we got a great value for the newness of the hotel and we loved the flat screen tv and the convience of the fridge in our room. We will probably stay there again.

The hotel is very close to Six Flags and the hotel offers a shuttle to and from Six Flags. You just need to call them to set up a time to take you and/or to pick you up. The rooms were comfortable and basically clean. The only issue I had was 3 nats in the room. Killed them and moved on to enjoy our stay. The pool was enjoyable during the hot weather of Texas.

Room was very comfy and clean. Hotel staff was friendly, and convenient location to many restaurants. Also had complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was also very nice. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends.

WOW! what a horrible stay. I have stayed at a different Hyatt and was very satisfied, so I assumed my stay at this Hotel would be the same, well it was not. Upon arrival, the manager was taking care of an already unhappy customer, the other staff seemed to be very frazeled and very unprofessional. The room that we were put in was ok, until the roaches showed up, then it was terrible. They moved us into another room, which the whole floor had screaming softball kids, and parents that appeared to be having their own party. The noise was unbelievable, I called the front desk numerous times for help, they tried, but could not seem to control the kids, or the parents. At one point someone from the front desk had come to our room to ask us if we had been the ones throwing ice down the hallway, I was SHOCKED, because I was the one complaining. Finally at 2:00 a.m. I had had it, and called the front desk again. The front desk advised me that she was alone and there was nothing that she could do. When we moved to the second room, we had to do it so fast, because I had to be somewhere at a certain time. I left a ring that went to my wedding ring in the first room. I asked if I could go back into the room to check if I could find it, but they had already had other people in the roach infested room. They advised me that they would have to wait until 10:00 a.m. before they could call the room to ask if I could go in. We waited, but by the time we called there was no answer to the room, and I was not able to check, therefore, I went home without my ring. Upon leaving we tried to get breakfast, which you couldn't even get a cup of coffee, because there wasn't any made. It was an absolute mess. I will never stay or recommend this Hyatt to anyone.

My daughter and I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, it was great! I will definately stay there again!

The stay was nice. The room was very clean and quite spacious. Breakfast was good but the staff had a difficult time keeping the food stocked as large crowds gathered for breakfast.
