The Hotel is situated in middle of the latin Quarter, with many restaurants and a festive nightlife. But still the Hotel is located down a quiet street, so there's not any, even in the weekend. So perfect location.

Comentado por S, deCambridge, UK, el ago 2, 2009
Well located on a quiet, traffic-free street yet within a few steps of bars/restaurants + shops - all rather tourist targeted perhaps but plenty of choice. Just a short walk to the river and Notre Dame, we also walked to Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triomphe and beyond although some might consider this too far. Metro close-by if needed. Rooms were not large but actually more than adequate and reasonably furnished. Helpful receptionist - even managed to get mislaid sunglasses returned from a taxi she had booked for us. Definately Recommended.

Excellent location, spacious room by Parisian standards for a three star hotel and the rate was lower than for other hotels we checked out.

The Hotel Parc Saint Severin is so centrally located in Paris that we hardly needed to use the Metro to get around. We walked to the Louvre, D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, and even to the Arc de Triomphe. It is in a funky and bustling neighborhood near the Place St. Michel, but is off the main streets, so is very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay here.

This hotel is in a great location for walking around Paris: Ile St. Louis, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay are all just a short distance away. Metro is nearby as well. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Room was large (we were upgraded) and clean. Elevator was tiny and stairs were odd-shaped, normal for Paris hotels. Only real drawback was that the corner below our window was apparently a popular hangout for young adults, they were outside talking and making noise until the wee hours. Overall, a much better place than we had expected for the price in this neighborhood.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring central Paris. We spent a great afternoon walking around Ile St. Louis and along the Seine. RER and metro stops are close by. We received an upgraded room, which was larger than we expected for Paris, and were on the first floor, which turned out to be a mixed blessing. We could walk downstairs, which was great due to the tiny and slow lift. However, we could also hear the conversations outside on the corner, which appears to be a popular hangout for young guys killing time at night. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay if you have just a night or two in Paris and want to explore a bit on foot.

The staff and location of the hotel were great. The room was on the small side, but clean, quiet and comfortable. If you are going to stay in Latin Quarter, this is a good choice. You won't be disappointed. The staff is English speaking and helpful. The breakfast, at 13 Euros, was overpriced for croissants and cold cereal, but there are many other options just steps away.

The hotel is nicely located in Latin quarter even though it was a bit hard to find even for the locals. The surrounding is lively and noisy. Hotel room is small, and service could be more friendly.

Firm, flat mattress. You can see it in the pictures that the bed doesn't cave in in the middle. Beautiful view of the church St. Severin. So centrally located that you won't need the metro much, but it's just a 3 minute walk from St. Michel transportation. Most everyone staying at the hotel was an english speaker, and the staff all spoke excellent english. This is not what I prefer in a hotel in France, but for those that do, this is a great spot.

After having spent some time previously in Paris and experiencing the quality (or lack thereof) found in many places in this city despite the sometimes exorbitant hotel rates, we were exceedingly happy with our stay at "Parc St. Séverin". Not only was the location outstanding (right in the middle of the Quartier Latin, and only a 3-minute walk from Notre Dame and the Metro/RER, yet on a surprisingly quiet side street with little/no automobile traffic), but the price for the room was more than reasonable. The folks at the reception desk were friendly, the room was clean, bright, comfortable, with flower boxes on the windows and a welcoming decor, the bed/pillows comfortable, the bathroom well-equipped and clean. Three - truly minor - drawbacks would be that (a) the elevator (as in so many places in Europe) is tiny and barely large enough for 2 people with a med-sized roller-bag, (b) the bathtub didn't have a shower-curtain (again, that's normal in France) and it requires a bit of skill not to flood the bathroom while taking a shower/bath, and (c) that the breakfast buffet was 12 Euros per person/day - something we considered way overpriced, so we ate at several patisseries/brasseries just a block or 2 away. "Parc St. Séverin" belongs to the "Esprit de France" chain, and we look forward to staying at this or any of their properties again.

This hotel was fabulous! We had a front room on the third floor and I was really happy. We ate outside the hotel for our meals because it was less expensive and there are so many places to eat/try that it was much more fun that way. The Euro is at its highest ever against the dollar so there's no getting around spending alot of money there. The front desk personell at the hotel were courteous and very friendly...very helpful. I loved staying there. We were just there July 10 and they were painting the hallways. Other than that it was quiet, centrally located and very romantic. We didn't use the train service except from the airport although its close to the hotel. If you want a beautiful room with a view of Paris that's centrally located and has lots of local restraunts, try this one, we will again next year!

A perfect launchpad for a tour of Paris. A great location, near many sights, the Seine, and Metros. I would advise going at least 10 minutes away to eat, as most of the immediate food is a little touristy. I really recommend Rue de Bucci for food. The hotel staff are extremely nice, and the rooms, if you use the closet, have room to walk around. Remember, these aren't suburban American hotels...you're not suppose to be able to work out in your room.
