This hotel has a fabulous location. You are a few blocks in any directions from major locations. The room was comfortable. I loved the free internet access. I would stay here on all my visits to London.

Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to every sightseeing spot. London in general is a fairly small city which is super clean but unfortunately a bit expensive. I will definately be visiting again and go to the same hotel. You cant beat the price or the location. I loved it here. :)

This was a perfect location for a weekend of socialising, culture and shopping in London. There was a warm welcome and I was able to check in early. The desk staff were all polite and helpful. The room (112) was fine - nice and quiet considerign its location. Only small gripe - a towel holder attached to the sink unit in the bathroom had become dislodged.

We were told to only check in after 3pm which we did, to discover that our booking requirement for twin beds had been ignored as a tour group of Americans arrived and were given all the rooms with twin beds. No apology that the room provided did not meet what was requested. The room provided stank of cigarette smoke which is very annoying to me as a non-smoker. The price paid was extremely high given the fact that every time any employee came near the room for anything, you were charged for that privilege. Would have been better off staying in a hotel as the extra charges at Citadines would have been included in the cost of a normal hotel room. Only plus is that the hotel is very central and within easy walking distance of Central London's attractions.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 boys - 6 & 9 years) and we were all happy with the room. It is not luxurious but for the location and the cost it is comfortable and spacious. It is in a great central spot just a minute walk from Trafalgar square. The only problem we had was the first morning when we went down for breakfast!! There were 2 people sitting eating breakfast and all the breakfast was set out - granted it was nearly 10am and breakfast closed at 10am, but there was no one around! We could hear a lady on her phone at the entrance of the kitchen: laughing and joking with a friend. So we took our breakfast!! Big mistake. When she decided to get off her phone she came out the kitchen "yelling" at us: : "kitchen closed, kitchen closed, no breakfast, no breakfast". We were really shocked but luckily we do have a sense of humour and just laughed it off. Needless to say we never had breakfast in the hotel again (not a problem since there is so many 'eateries' nearby. So.... we took our 120 pounds (the cost of our breakfast for the 4 days) and took it somewhere else where the service was a little more friendly!! But apart from that we were really happy with the Citadine Hotel.

The location was great if you are going out in the West End, next street from Embankment Station. Price was very reasonable for that area. We had a studio apartment which had pull out bed. That was fine and it had a separate kitchen area. The kitchen did not seem like it had been fully cleaned as it smelt very strongly of food (Indian) that had been in there awhile. We would stay there again as the location was just what we were looking for.

We loved the location, convenience and modern kitchen and bathroom of this location! It was very comfortable for 3. One suggestion to the management of the hotel: for this price of hotel, you should make the beds and empty the garbages, daily (not once per week....)! The dishwasher was great...and the flat screen TV was a total surprise. The high speed internet was a breeze. Thank you!

Our one-bdr apt was ideal for the two of us and our adult daughter. Lovely to be able to breakfast in one's own place and to relax in late afternoon with a cup of tea and snack before heading out again for the evening. Because we stayed 7 nights, we had maid service once in mid-week. Comforts: good lighting, good storage space, in-room safe, toilet in separate room from rest of bathroom facilities, rack over tub for laundry; handy kitchen includes small dishwasher, dishes, flatware, pots, toaster, elec. water kettle (you supply paper goods, etc). One drawback: mattress in sleeper sofa (in liv. rm) not comfortable. We appreciated the free use of a computer in the lobby.

This hotel was literally in the middle of everything we wanted to do in London. Very close to Covent Garden, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and more. The tube is extremely close as well if you don't want to walk. We had a roll-out bed that could have been more comfortable, but after a long day I slept soundly. The shower was a bit small but it did the trick. Overall it was great because of the excellent location.

I admit I did not know what an apart hotel was - they just don't give you clean towels and linens everyday. No big deal. Location was excellent. Our "local" friends got a hotel at a similar price but took 45 min subway ride just to get into the city center.

Excellent location but housekeeping needs significant improvement. We stayed three nights our our apartment was never cleaned.

Within sight of Trafalgar Square this position could nor be better. Check-in was impecable and the rooms are good although with the bed out the studio I was in was then a bit tight. Overall very good

Staff friendy and helpful

We needed room for a family member and the suite provided was quite adequate. It was no-frills, but relatively clean and well equipped. Had we stayed longer than our two nights, the kitchenette would have been very useful. Would stay again for the great location and practical suite arrangement

If you want a hotel convenient to all the popular tourist spots, go with this one! Walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Gordon's Wine Bar, the Eye, Covent Garden, Picadilly, and more! The hotel is clean and the staff is there 24/7. I didn't need to store my bags, but they probably have that available if you arrive early. Only cons: - The decorations are circa 1970, and the pillows are awful. - the hair dryer we got was like a gentle breeze. bring your own. - Linen and towel changes cost extra if you get the one bedroom apartment.

This little gem is centrally located to all major sites.

We stayed for one night in London and were after somewhere central and reasonably priced. I picked this hotel based on the reviews on here and also based on the fact it had a kitchen, meaning we could get ourselves a slice of toast in the morning. I have to say, compared to some of the other prices we were quoted for hotels in London, this was amazing quality and a perfect location, perfect for shopping in the west end and a night out in Soho. Would go back in a second and definitely will next time I'm in London. No grumbles at all.

The hotel had a generally grubby aspect. Maintenance was very wanting - The shower tap and mechanism was loose and difficult to control, the drying was badly skrewed to the wall, and was in danger of falling off. Repairs were made when we complained, but the work was shoddy. Generally, we found the hotel disappointing, and not up to the standards we had expected.

Overall the entire experience was flawless. I arrived in London and was able to take the Gatwick Express and transfer once to get the Tube to Embankment and walk the 100 meters to the hotel. The room was ready despite being hours ahead of check-in time which is not always the norm. The room is small, but exactly as described and for traveling through Europe it was perfect. The bed is literally a fold-out couch and as long as you are aware of that fact you can't really complain and it was surprisingly comfortable. I had a pillowcase in my luggage just incase as always but the sheets and towels were very clean. The kitchenette was just fine, but with all the restaurants in the area I only used it for breakfast one morning. The location is perfect, 30 second walk to Traflagar Square, around the corenr from every other site you want to see as a traveler. Also good for the night life since the West End seems to be partying no matter what night of the week. Avoid the crowds if you are not going to a show and leave the hotel around 8pm and you will have a table at any of the nearby restaurants. Overall it was an amazing experience and I am going back in a few months to do it all again. Great hotel.

We just wanted a one night stay at a competitive price with no frills attached in central London...and that's exactly what we got. Slightly disappointed to get a sofa pull-out bed but it was comfortable enough, and the small, fully equipped, kitchen would have been a godsend had we wanted to stay longer. On top of that, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful : they gave us directions and maps for where we wanted to get to, two extra pillows, and leaving baggage at the hotel whilst we completed our sightseeing was no problem at all. Highly recommended.

This hotel is between Trafalgar Square and Embankment Station. Everything is within walking distance. The sleeper sofa beds are not the most comfortable but the location cannont be beat for the cost.

Vi bodde på detta hotell i två nätter och har absolut inget att klaga på. Gick man åt ena hållet från hotellet var man vid big ben på ett par minuter och gick man åt andra hållet var man vid china town på ett par minuter. Det var i princip gångavstånd till allt från hotellet. Mycket nöjd!

Det var ikke gået op for mig, men et Apart'hotel betyder åbenbart at der ikke gøres rent, redes seng, skiftes håndklæder osv hver dag, men enten kun ved afrejse eller hvis man betaler for at få det gjort. Alt er skåret ind til benet (intet glas på badeværelset f.eks.), men alligevel er det okay sted at sove og mit værelse var faktisk større end enekltværelser normalt er. Beligenhed og pris (og ovenstående gør det velegnet til weekend ture. Der er mulighed for bagage opbevaring på afrejse dagen.

Was eigenlijk prima voor een zakenbezoek in London. Lekker centraal. Ontbijtje beneden, supermarkt tegenover, snel internet en een eigen keukentje (want het is meer een apartement). Prima eigenlijk. Neem ik volgende keer weer.

Gode lejligheder men fin plads og godt indrettet, jeg vil vaelge hotellet igen. naeste gang vil jeg vaelge at spise morgenmad ude i byen da jeg syndes at prisen for dette er for hoej i forhold til kvalitet. hotellet giver stor frihed pga placering og key system, sikkerheden er stor da hoved doeren altid er laast og receptionen er bemandet.

Ligger mycket bra, bara ett stenkast från centrum. DOCK endast en hård bäddsoffa att sova på. Bra med kök etc, så vill man bo centralt och ta hand om egen matlagning så är det perfekt. Vill man njuta av en weekend med riktigt god sömn, välj ett annat hotell

Hotellets läge är helt perfekt mitt i London. Priset för rummet är riktigt bra med tanke på var hotellet ligger. Rummen är inte i toppklass men läget och priset gör detta hotell mycket prisvärt.

Hotellstandard i London har alltid vært skuffende: Dyrt og ikke spesielt rent. Her ble vi positivt overrasket både over renhet og tilstand. Leiligheten hadde det vi 4 i familien trengte: Grei kjøkkenkrok, gode senger og pent, flislagt bad (ingen brune helgulvstepper på badet)! Beliggenheten var utrolig sentral. Betjeningen noe anonym, men helt grei. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

Tres bien situe. appartement pour quatre tres spacieux. Literie excellente. Un seul regret: la cuisine, vraiment minuscule et trop peu equipee pour envisager de vrais repas (pas de poele par exemple). Sejour tres agreable somme toute. Nous y retournerons sans hesiter.

Très bonne situation géographique (Trafalgar Square). Hotel assez luxueux. Entretien de la chambre défavorable ( la chambre est nettoyée qu'une fois par semaine). La chambre n'est pas assez spacieuse. Les lits jumeaux sont étroits.

Glimrende beliggenhet i en svært rolig gate bare 200 meter fra Trafalgar square. Den kombinasjonen er hotellets største force. Lite og enkelt kjøkken var forventet, men det ble litt krøbelt i forhold til andre Citadines hotell vi har prøvd før

Nous avons logé dans cet hôtel pour une une nuit et nous avons été satisfaites par les services de cet hotel. Nous étions 4 et nous avons séjourné dans un appartement pour 4 avec salle de bains, WC, chambre avec lit double, salon avec TV, table basse et table, et petite cuisine équippée. L'appartement était propre et spacieux. Il manquait peut-être un peu de luminosité et les fenêtres ne donnaient pas sur un paysage exceptionnel mais c'était plus que convenable surtout pour une nuit ! Nous sommes arrivées tôt le matin et le check-in était à 15h mais nous avons pu laisser nos bagages gratuitement dans une pièce prévue à cet effet jusqu'au check-in, ce qui nous a permis d'aller faire un peu de shopping tranquillement, sans être encombrées. Pareil pour le check-out le lendemain, nous avons laissé nos bagages à l'hotel après notre check-out, jusquà notre départ final en fin d'après-midi. Il y a un ordinateur avec accès à Internet à la réception, disponible gratuitement pour les clients de l'hôtel. L'hotel est idéalement situé, à 2 pas de la station d emétro Charing Cross et des principales attractions de la capitale. We will definitely go back there next time !

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige for foden af Trafalgar Square i rolig ejendom. Slidte men rene værelser.

quartier très agréable à quelques pas de trafalgar square .Résidence dans un batiment à l'architecture superbe , qualité de service et accueil attentionné. Appartement très propre et fonctionnel .

L'albergo si presenta con una struttura maestosa ed elegante. L'appartamento è comodo e spazioso per 4 persone, pulito e funzionale. Anche l'angolo cottura è completo per le esigenze di una famiglia, con lavastoviglie e forno a microonde. Non è mai stata effettuata la pulizia nei 6 giorni di soggiorno e le finestre davano sul retro dove tutte le mattine, all'alba, veniva caricato un camion che dava la sveglia, complice una finestra che non chiudeva bene. Collegamento a internet via cavo e tv via satellite (in chiaro e solo inglese).

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare disponibilità in questo residence con un prezzo conveniente ed una posizione più che centrale.il fatto che sia un appartamento poi ci ha permesso di fare comodamente colazione nell'appartamento prima di uscire alla scoperta di questa splendida città

la salle de bains était le point faible car la baignoire fuyait enormement et il n'y avait aucune pression quand on se douchait. de plus la chambre était une glacière quand on est arrivés et nous avons dû attendre longtemps avant que le chauffage ne fasse effet.

Hotell i London i den här prisklassen har sällan så pass fräscha och bra rum. Fint badrum, vilket inte alltid är fallet. Plus för kök, kylskåp o möjlighet att laga egen mat.

emplacement idéal pour séjour touristique, chmbre spacieuse mais un peu bruyante (pub en bas...), fuite d'eau dans les toilettes réparée rapidement, accueil très correct

Ingen hovdepuder og isende koldt værelse, receptionisten var sur i det hele taget en dårlig oplevelse.

hotellet er meget centralt placeret og værelset er udstyret med det man skal bruge, det er muligt at få hjælp i receptionen og morgenmaden er god

Meget bra beliggenhet med det meste i gangavstand fra hotellet. Meget venlig og hjelpsom betjening. Fint for familier med leilighets løsninger.

Vi søgte et centralt belligende og godt mellemklasse hotel i den økonomisk lette ende, og det er præcis hvad dette hotel er! Belligenheden bliver ikke meget bedre, med de fleste interessante områder og seværdigheder inden for gå afstand, og med Charing Cross og Embankment stationerne lige om hjørnet, hvis man skal længere. Hotellet levede fuldt op til vores forventninger og lidt til. Som sagt god belligenhed, pænt og rent alle steder, gode faciliteter (inkl. gratis internet i reception og på værelse) og et fint værelse. Værd at nævne er også at der jo er køkken, hvilket i vores tilfælde betød lækker morgenmad på værelset fremfor at skulle ud og finde en middelmådig og dyr morgenmad på gaden, samt at der altid var drikkevarer på køl. Prisen synes vi også var meget passende. Det er ikke det billigste, men så absolut heller ikke det dyreste der er at finde, så alt taget i betragtning var det virkelig god valuta for pengene!
