Le Chat Noir Design Hotel - París

Great hotel for a city break. Excellent location for exploring the city, within metres of Blanche metro station. Rooms compact but very clean & comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful.

Spent two night at Le Chat Noir and loved it. The room was very modern and clean with a very cool bathroom and shower. The staff is also accomodating, helping us out with directions and even providing a corkscrew! Right across the street from the Metro and right around the corner from Montmatre, it's exactly what we wanted.

its a small hotel hidden on the gaudy boulevard de clichy, but behind it is the nicest part of paris! montmartre. the hotel itself is extremely well kept, the staff friendly, and the room immaculate. its a cute hotel , and totally worth the money.

The hotel was clean and modernized. During the day the clerk was helpful and nice. The evening clerk was new and confused. Unfortunately, I got billed twice and still dont have that resolved. THe location was less than desirable, but makes a great conversation/memory.

pros: lovely room, gorgeous bathroom esp. the shower, friendly helpful staff, baggage room, very close to the Metro (Blanche), convenient for Montmartre & Sacré Coeur and great variety of restaurants around. cons: our room was close to the elevator, so it was noisier, and our double bed was two beds pushed together. also may be a drawback for some people - not for us, as we weren't bothered - is the number of sex shops on the Boulevard de Clichy.

Took a taxi to the hotel at first, arrived saturday night, checked in, though we didn't have an eiffel tower view, they did upgrade us to a bigger room, and put a bottle of champers in there for us. Room was excellent! Super comfy. The shower took a bit of getting used to, but no big deal. Didn't have brekkie there, prefered to wonder around the surrounding neighborhoods. When the rest of Paris is sleeping, the neighborhood around le chat noir is hoppin, and i don't mean it in a bad way. Despite all the noise on the street, couldn't hear a THING from the room! enjoy!

Stayed in this hotel with my partner for a long weekend. It is a stone's throw away from the nearest metro which made it very easy for getting around. If you buy ten tickets at once, it works out cheaper. Within walking distance of the Sacre Coeur and on the same street as the Moulin Rouge. The room was very comfortable, clean & stylish, with a fabulous shower. The CD player was also a bonus. The staff were friendly and spoke good English although it's always polite and appreciated to try a few key French phrases. The hotel is located on a street dominated by sex shops and peep shows but unless you have a young family I wouldn't consider it an issue. Felt safe walking home at night. I would go back again.

Our room (802) was exactly as pictured in website photographs. Although compact, the accommodation was well presented, clean and very comfortable. Our balcony afforded great views out over the city - I would certainly recommend requesting a room with a balcony. Staff were polite and friendly. However, the hotel is right next door to a line of busy strip clubs - some visitors may find this intimidating, particularly on a weekend evening. On the plus side, Blanche Metro is only metres from the hotel, and there are excellent cafes and bars on the doorstep, not to mention that the Sacre Coeur is within 15 mins walk. I would stay here again, but perhaps wouldn't recommend the hotel to my parents due to the location in the red light district!!

Ganske udmærket hotel, hvis man vil bo centralt. Fin service og standard. Eneste problem var larm fra gaden og fra byggeri. Ingen udsigt fra vinduet. Men ellers helt fint.

vaerelserne var helt i orden og alle i ekspeditionen snakkede engelsk. hotellet ligger paa boulevard de clichy, som er et lille minus hvis man har boern med. gaa afstand fra sacre coeur og place de tertre. hotellet var ved at faa ordnet facaden med sandblaesning, saa hele hotellet var pakket ind med stillads og net, men de var heldigvis ikke naaet til vores etage. vi synes at morgenmaden var dyr, men smagte udemaerket. vi koebte efterfoelgende morgenmad i et naerliggende supermarked monoprix, der kunne det goeres for en fjerdedel af prisen. der var desvaerre kun en hoej stol,puf og et hoejt bord på vaerelset, saa det var lidt besvaerligt at spise paa vaerelset. ingen minibar og koeleskab paa vaerelset, men aircondition.

Flott, lite hotell, med hyggelig betjening. Vi bestilte "luksusrom" men siden vi hadde med oss vår baby, oppgraderte hotellet rommet til "chamber" uten forespørsel. Rommet var stort og flott, manglet bare kjøleskap/minibar :) Og ismaskin på hotellet, for varme dager ;) Men betjeningen fikset det isbiter for oss! Hotellet ligger midt i et "red light district" uten at vi følte at det var sjenerende. Ellers et koselig område, og gåavstand til Sacre Coer, og med Metro/turistbuss som stoppet rett utenfor hotellet! :) Grei avstand til de fleste attraksjoner, dersom du tar metroen. Kommer til å bo på dette hotellet neste gang!

Auch wenn die laute Avenue direkt am Moulin Rouge einen eher abschrecken könnte, so überrascht das Hotel durch seine totale Ruhe. Moderne stilvoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit absolut lärmgedämmten Fenstern. Schöne praktische Badezimmer und ein Frühstück mit einem vor allem für französische Verhältinisse reichhaltigem Büffet.

When we checked in we were put in room 101, the room itself was ok but it is on the first floor directly by breakfast area and the room is very poorly isolated for sound. We could hear the maid vacuuming and people talking like they were in the room with us. Also, as the room sits on top of a bar downstairs which was not very nice trying to sleep that first night. When the plug for the bathtub and the remote for the TV was missing we were really starting to get disappointed. However, when we pointed this out to the staff they switched our room for our second night which was much better and gave us complimentary breakfast. Although Boulevard de Clichy is a bit scetchy the hotel is situated very good, close to the metro, Sacré-Cœur and the beautiful streets of Monmartre.

Η περιοχη δε μου αρεσε καθολου.Ολο σεξ σοπ εκει κοντα.Το δωματιο ηταν πολυ μικρο και μυριζε καπνο.Το μονο καλο ηταν το πρωινο και οι υπάλληλοι πολυ εξυπηρετικοι.

Trevligt hotell med snygg och modern inredning, en känsla av att bo på ett stort hotell i liten förpackning. Personalen var uppställbar och serviceminded. Allt var bra tills det blev stopp i avloppet, men även då var personalen snabb och smidig. Det fixades med en gång.

Hotel extremement bien placé, moderne, personnel sympathique, pas trop bruyant pour son emplacement, peut être assez mal insonorisé entre les chambres (mais le couple d'a coté ne se disputait pas, au contraire :-)

good hotel, fun location in pigalle district. sex shops are all around so may not be suitable for kids. but good overal, clean, style, modern. room as a bit small, bed was very confortable

Ligger i sköna Montmartre, 50 m från Moulin Rouge. Nära till tunnelbanestationen Pigalle där man lätt och snabbt kommer till Paris olika delar. Gångavstånd till Sacré-Cœur. Dock väldigt mycket festande ungdomar nätterna igenom...

Ett litet rum men varför sitta på rummet i Paris? Ett fantastiskt läge, mycket god frukost och väldigt hjälpsam personal.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gut designed (Flachbild inkl. DVD-Player!). Sie sind halt wirklich arg eng (besonders das Bad). Aber man kann sich damit arrangieren. Die Gegend ist toll (Montmatre) und um die Ecke ist die Bar (Restaurant) von Amelie - sehr cool!

We stayed in le chat noir 7 days. Didnt try the breakfast, a bit pricy. The hotel was newly refurbished. The bed was big enough for two, the shower aswell. Everything was top notch in the room, exept the lack of storage space, but with a little imagination we solved it. We could see the eiffel tower from our room which wasnt noisy at all even though it faced blv de clichy. Keep in mind that the hotel is located in Pigalle, between a pornshop and the erotic museum But, just a block or two up the hill you can enjoy the cosy restaurants and shops in Montmatre. We walked to the city center every day, it took about 30 minutes, so eventhouh the hotel is in a arrodisement which isnt regarded as central you dont have to have a metrocard.The Tv had a builtin dvd player. We would definately stay here again

zu kleines Zimmer, nahe der Metro aber auch nahe d.Moulin-Rouge u.Kabarets also nicht ideale Lage, nettes Personal,für den Preis nicht super aber für drei Sterne ok

Hotel liegt in Montmartre, sehr zentral gelegen im "Vergnügungsviertel" von Paris. Metrostation direkt vor der Haustür. Parkgelegenheit in der Nähe. Rundum angenehme Unterbringung.

Klein, modern en warm hotel. Erg vriendelijk personeel dat je met veel dingen wilt helpen. Vlakbij montmartre, de moulin rouge etc. Verder ben je met de ideale huur-fietsen (vlakbij aanwezig) binnen no time in heel Parijs.

Très bonne situation géographique. Belle décoration. Bon accueil.
