Husa Reina Victoria - Valencia

Cozy rooms in a convenient location for tourist locations in Valencia. Good staff. Only caveat is that if your driving, it's a little hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the town.

This hotel is perfect to see Valencia old city. It's located 2 blocks from the main RENFE train station (Estacion del Nord), when you get out of the station walk straight towards the big buildings, once you see a big fountain, make a right, i'ts only a few feet away, the sign is high, so look up to see it. This hotel is antique looking, but clean and the location is perfect. Breakfast is $10USD, but excellent variety. This is not a modern hotel, it's a historic building, but it's very nice and staff speaks English. Tourism office in the corner to the right, across the street. Take the double decker at the cathedral (go on the maritime route first, it's better). The cathedral is a 5 min. walk at the hotel, make a left and then a right go straight, when it divides in two take the left. The cathedral is a must see and only a 5 min. walk from the hotel, make sure you go in $7USD, it's worth it, they have the Holy Grail Jesus used on the last supper, approved by the Vatican, two Popes have been here to say mass. Walk around the streets and go to the market before noon, very close to the cathedral. Make sure you go to Ciudad de las Ciencias, you can't miss this, it's a spectacular complex, the main attraction. I recommend the aquarium and the atmospheric (IMAX film), the science museum is very boring, it's not worth it.

The staff were always pleasant, the room clean and adequate with large beds but decor dated. Would have liked a kettle in the room but mini-bar only. The location however was superb, central, walking distance of Colon metro station which links direct to airport. Dining facilities not used, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. We would go back.

Located on a quiet street just off a main square, very convenient for the railway station. Very friendly staff. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Bathroom had a great shower. The hotel is not modern, but has a faded charm about it. The only downside was any noise in the corridor was easily heard in the room (particularly cleaning in the early morning). Would recommend it.

The hotel is in a good central location in the old town. The hotel staff were helpful. The room was of a good size and was very clean. The price was cheap for what you got.

Food was also good and reasonably priced for Europe.

The hotel is at a very central location,providing very easy access to everything.The service is courteous but indifferent.Dated decor but clean and very neat.Beautiful exterior.It is recommendable for those who are not looking for luxury and premium service but would be happy with great location and good value for money.

right in the centre, close to bars, shops and restaurants. places of interest all within easy walking distance. hotel staff were efficient and friendly and although only stayed one night would happily recommend this hotel.

old hotel in a great location

The room was clean and pleasantly furnished. The road outside was a bit loud but the room was double glazed so it wasn't too bad. The reception staff were helpful and let us leave luggage at reception after check out. Overall it was a pleasant experience, I would stay there again. It felt like a 4* hotel.

I selected this hotel because I liked the look of the exterior on the web site. The historic elegance and the palm trees did it for for me! Its central location was perfect. All the central attractions are within a few minutes walk and those further out, ( Science Park, Beach, etc) were easily reached by Metro or bus, both within 5 minutes of the hotel. (Metro also goes direct to airport). The Elegance extended to the interior which managed to combine the best of the past with benefits of the modern age. It was not 'stuffy' or formal, but relaxed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, (although service at the bar was sometimes absent at busy times.) The food was very good as was the service, with breakfast being the highlight of my day! The room was well appionted, comfotable and kept very clean. I'd have no hesitation in returning to this hotel or recommending it to others.

Excellent service from experienced staff. Good room quality. Internet and breakfast service relatively expensive. Hotel would not lend and iron and board, insisting I use their service to get a shirt pressed @ E 4.50.

Super location between trainstation and the old town

We went for a weekend to Valencia, Hotel Husa Reina victoria. Hotel is in the Centre of Valencia, near the metro station colone (200m). Price was good, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and breakfast was very good.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo albergo situato nel cuore di Valencia, molto vicino alla Plaza Ayuntamento. La stanza era molto pulita, ottima la colazione e gentile il personale

Hotellet ligger centralt och levde helt upp till det vi ville ha.

Komfortabelt med pragtfuld arkitektur og indretning. Udmærket og venlig service. Ønsker at frokost kan inkluderes i hotelprisen fra start.

Dette vil jeg bruke neste gang turen går til Valencia også. Kan varmt anbefales. Frokosten gikk også over forventningene til et såpas rimelig hotell.

Hotellet ligger meget centralt for alle slags aktiviteter i Valencia. God servise og venlig betjening samt komfort.

Bra hotell med gångavstånd till allt i gamla stan. Trevlig personal, fräscha och välstädade rum. Bra frukostbuffé som visserligen kostade extra, men som vi tyckte var värt att satsa på. Vill man äta billigare frukost finns kaféer i närheten. Både spansk och mer internationell stil. Något lyhört mellan rummen. Minibar, hårfön och säkerhetsbox. Boxen ingick i priset, mot deposition. 5-10 min promenad till T-bana Colón går direkt till flygplatsen (18 SEK) och till stranden (12 SEK).

Restaurangområdet finns inom 5 minuters promenad i en stad där det inte är alltför lätt att hitta restauranger med variation i menyer. Hotellet har en mycket bra frukost med både kallt och varmt och frukt och spanska bakverk. Receptionen är serviceminded och vänlig. Rummet var ganska rymligt, men saknade möjligen en andra extrstol. Balkongen åt gatan, vilket gjorde att trafiken hördes, men inte överdrivet. Badrummet var rymligt, men ljussättningen kunde ha varit bättre

Insgesamt ansprechend eines der drei Doppelzimmer war jedoch für 2 Personen etwas eng insbesondere das sehr kleine Bad.

Prima hotel, in het centrum van Valencia en op loopafstand van cultuur, eten, drinken en winkelen

Het hotel is super, service en locatie zijn goed. Als je met het raam open wilt slapen heb je oordopjes nodig. Elke 15 miniuten spelen er 2 klokken een deuntje, 24 uur per dag. Daarnaast worden alle hele uren geluid

Comodo, tranquillo, in pieno centro. Vicino alla fermata Colon del Metro e alle principali fermate d'autobus. A piedi è possibile visitare il centro storico in 5 minuti.
