Ca'pisani Hotel Design - Venecia

The hotel was amazingly decorated in a very modern way, had a great location seconds from a main vaporetti stop AND major bridge; not too busy although there is always lots of foot traffic in Venice. Glad we weren't near The Rialto area...that area seemed like the Times Square of Venice. THe staff all spoke good English, were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good...no coffee in room, though. The only problems were 1) the room was too hot, and according to the staff there is a law in Italy that forbids hotels from putting on their AC till May. We were in 4 hotels in ITaly, all of them unbearably hot (this in early APril when it was actually cool in the evenings) so perhaps this is true. Opening the windows at night wasn't an option for us as we were right above the street and front entrance and it was noisy at night. I think a side or back room would be quieter. 2) the hotel is near a church and the bells rang 80 times at each of 7 am and 8 am. Every day., and yes I counted! Fewer times at other hours. 3) For a design hotel, it had a few instances of bad design...it had one of those annoying half glass doors that are common in Europe...water got everywhere. Also, there were steps to get down from the bed and again outside out bathroom and my son and husband both took tumbles when they forgot about these steps. Otherwise, a beautiful room..we had a triple and it had two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite big. Bathrobes, chocolates etc. overall, i would stay there again for the location but I would ask for a room at the back.

Good location, just south of Academia Bridge, for exploring around Venice, but not too busy. Dioes not have a view of canal..but hey..who needs it, you're looking at canals all day anyway! Fabulous room,jacuzzi bath. Stylish, modern and light unlike some of the more traditional Venice hotels which are often more expensive. Menu has a smaller selection than bigger hotels (There are only 29 rooms) but the quality is good. If you wanted a quality hotel for a weekend away in Venice, which wont break the budget, this is a chic little number with an intimate feel and good service.

Very "cool" hotel. Different from most Venetian hotels with its modern/avant garde style.

Hotel trés agréable de très bon standing situé dans un cartier calme.Les chambres sont très bien équipée le petit dejeuner est parfait avec la possibilité de déjeuner dehors. En un mot hôtel à conseiller j'y retournais pour le deuxième fois.

Direct gelegen achter Galleria Accademmia ligt het kleinschalige Ca Pisani hotel. Snelle ontvangst en kamer niet supergroot maar voorzien van tv, zitstoeltje, badkamer met bubbelbad. Ontbijt simpel met goede koffie. Perfecte ligging en leuke restaurants in de buurt.
