Rooms are about ready for remodeling, but for the money it is quite satisfactory.

This hotel was definitely not worth what we paid. Neighbors were very loud and rude. Room was stuffy and smelly. And housekeeping does not know what "Do Not Disturb"/"Privacy Please" door signs mean.

Days Inn is a motel style - where you park outside of your room and the room opens to the outside instead of a hallway. There was limited nearby parking, but sufficient parking further away from the rooms. The price was good and the room clean but musty. We didn't mind, however, as we stayed at the room only from 2am to 7am.

I enjoyed my stay at the Days INN in Alsip, the only problem wasn't with the hotel but the surroundings. There was a dumpster in the parking lot, but they were doing some renovation. I got to the hotel late, after 10 pm, and there were no restaurants around that were open. I had a hard time finding something. That was my only complaint was that there isn't much around this hotel.

There was crumbling cement on the walkways. Repair work was underway; however, the work was of poor quality. If I had known there was construction in progress, I would have gladly paid more and Stayed Somewhere Else!!!!!!!!

Room was very clean each day I stayed. Front desk helped me more then once with directions and knowing where certain places I was looking for. The continental breakfast was typical food. Outside appearance needs to have a face lift for sure. Because of being very clean and quiet I would recommend to others for the savings.

The hot water in the bathroom sink never got hot. Had to use the Bath tub to wash my face. The room was small and cramp. When we got to the room there was no towels. Construction work being done outside our room on the walkway and nothing was posted to say please excuse our repairs. Asked for an iron and the iron I was given had bad burn marks on it. I was getting ready to iron white pants.

This hotel was really nice, convenient and although a little pricy, not a bad stay. I was dissapointed that my room did NOT have a fridge and the hotel did not have a pool for the price I paid for one nights stay. There is some surrounding traffic that is pretty loud but otherwise, for the night it wasn't bad.

This hotel was absolutely fine if you're just looking for a place to rest your head after a late night... and don't intend to stay long the next day. The breakfast was included, but don't expect much. It was clean and conveniently located for the event we were there for.

Excellent stay, for the money not noisy quite and comfortable.

I needed a room for an emergency that had occurred in my home that day. I was happy to find this hotel available online with a great price. The room was clean and my family had a good nights rest. I'll use this hotel again in a pinch.

I will just give a list..The lamp couldn't be cut off without unscrewing the light bulb, no light bulb in one of the lambs, bugs in bathroom, dirty carpet, rotten bananas for breakfast, cable working properly and the front desk said there was nothing they could do, there was no juice in the morning and the desk clerk said he was out because he would have to defrost some then sat back down and started reading his book, the remote never worked, mold in the bathroom...and that is not everything.

No ice, machine was broken, Room was less than expected for price.

Hotel looks new from the outside, but has been there a while. Tub, etc were older but definitely clean. Other that the very loud and squeaky heater, it was fine. An appropriate value for the money spent.

The room itself was very nice. The outside of the hotel needs work. Also, the only ice machine they had was not working. They did offer to pay for ice if you wanted to buy it somewhere else and bring them the receipt. Overall we were very satisified, you couldn't beet the price. It was double the price to stay at the hotel next door.

The room itself was not bad but going into the bathroom was terrible. The fixtures seem to be coming off the walls and the paint in the tub is chipping! I was very disapointed in the accomidations.

I don't know why all the negative reviews, the room was clean and exactly what I expected for the price. And I was actually charged $10 less per night than I was expecting.

THE ONLY THING THAT WAS WRONG, WAS THAT WE WERE IN A ROOM NEXT TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM OR SOMETHING AND THERE WERE LOUD NOISES COMING THRU THE WALLS OTHER THEN THAT THE ROOM WAS FINE. ANOTHER SUGGESTION IS THEY MAY CONSIDER PUTTING A LAMP ON THE DESK FOR BUSINESS PERSONS TO USE WHEN WORKING IN THEIR ROOMS

The room was very clean and I felt right at home.

The room was clean and stocked. This was a good hotel for my family. We rented 4 rooms and will stay again when needed.

The online reservation stated that the check out time was 12:00pm. At 10:30 the maid tried to open the door. We stated to her that the check out was at 12 and she left. 15 minutes later, the head of housekeeping was knocking at the door and she said that the check out was at 11:00. Pay attention to the Check Out time.

We stayed at this hotel for three days and it was just awful. The hotel is under construction and they have definitely started them in the wrong areas. The hotel room is not secure, bolt on the door was not installed correctly, the screws were coming out. The toilet seat was not secured and you slid whenever you sat down. There was mold and rust all over the tub and sink area. The electrical box would not shut, I cannot convey how bad this was. I booked this hotel because the price and location were right, figuring that we don't really spend much time in the actual room, but I have to say, you get what you pay for. I never felt clean or safe in the room and the management really didn't care. Use caution when booking with this hotel!

can't beat it

The Hotel room needed the carpet shampooed. Carpet was filthy.. The toilet was noisey and ran all night. Bath tub had a black dent in it, & the surrounding wall was patchy. These are my only comments.

Good place to sleep for the money and location.

Nothing fancy. Just wanted a place to sleep for a night. The room was clean, the air conditioneer was quiet and the neighborhood was quiet. The breakfast was very basic but there was plenty of food.

The room was small but clean enough. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was very disappointing. The tub was chipped and looked like it need to be replaced. I didn't trust that it had been cleaned thoroughly. It was much cheaper than the surrounding hotels in Alsip and that is why we chose it but still for the price I would have expected more.

Floors were falling apart, nothing around for entertainment, groups of drunk people following us around the hotel, unlit hallways and remote was broken. Bed was extremely comfortable, nicely air conditioned and breakfast wasn't bad at all. The food was fresh and tasted decent.

Well over all my stay was not that great. The walk ways had big holes in them and they weren't lit up at all so at night you couldn't even see the holes. Our A/C started to make a really loud sound so we had to change rooms at 6:00 am. They had construction going on the whole time we were there so my girlfriend had to walk by big scary looking men. So over all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a nice hotel that was located in a quiet neighborhood. It had a nice restaurant next door. I would recommend this to other and would stay there again.

Staff was helpful and friendly. However, hotel needs some updating. Recliner chair in room did not work and was old and uncomfortable. Outside areas had worn carpet and crumbling concrete on balconies and walkways. Wireless in room did not work - even though I could see the router I could not connect to the Internet. I had to go to lobby to get to another router that was connected to Internet - important as I had business work to do over this weekend. Lights in walkway burned out giving an unsafe effect.

We were very unhappy with this hotel. At a distance it looks okay - for the price and star rating one is not expecting a luxury stay, but it should be clean and the staff should be motivated to serve happy customers. There were several disappointments. The wireless internet was a constant problem during our 3 night stay. When we put white socks on our toddler and let her run around the room before leaving for the day, her socks ended up so dirty that we had to change them. There were chunks of scum on the shower curtain. The bathroom floor was sticky and when we asked that they clean it and provide an extra towel for the baby, our request was ignored the first time. We changed rooms once and left the baby's blanket in our old room and it took days to retrieve it while the staff seemed unconcerned. The lounge/breakfast area was in disrepair with wobbly tables, etc. All in all it was a disappointment and overpriced considering...

There wasn't any hot water in the bathroom sink. Had a little trouble getting the toilet to flush. Booked an extra day but hotel didn't receive confirmation. Spent one hour trying to resolve the issue.

building obviously was in need of repairs, It appeared to be an older motel due for remodeling. and alittle more time spent on cleaning especially the bathroom.

The hotel room was dirty. the carpet was filthy. I cannot recommend this hotel for that reason. I constantly feared bugs would appear in my room.
