"Very responsive"

When I checked in, the promised WiFi service didn't work in my room. I had to bring my laptop to the lobby to get internet access. The night manager (Mike) addressed the problem even though it was 10PM, rebooting the entire hotel system and even bringing his own laptop to my room to fix the problem. He got me up and running and I didn't have any other problems for the duration of my stay. I was very impressed by the caring and responsiveness to a guest's problem.

This was a great hotel! We only stayed one night but were very impressed with the large room and the amenities included. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet despite our proximity to the boiler room. The waffles I made fresh at breakfast were a really nice treat! I highly recommend this hotel.

"More than we expected!"

My husband and I selected the hotel because of the proximity to the New Hampshire Sheep & Wool festival, and I am so glad we did. It was only a short drive from the fair, and was located perfectly for us to be able to explore Concord as well. The staff was always friendly and extremely helpful. We got several restaurant recommendations from the front desk, including excellent directions. The room was comfortable and surprisingly large, and the pool was so nice after a long day of walking around! Even breakfast was nice--lots of choices and a comfortable sitting area. We will definitely go back next year and anytime we need to stay in the Concord area. Totally worth every penny.

The overall experience was good. The room was well decorated and clean. The bathroom did have some hair on the floor so it could have been a little cleaner. The pool was clean and nice. Overall it was a good experience. Best Western hotels in general are a good bet to stay in...you know for the most part the standards are going to be high for cleanliness and comfort.

I booked a King size room for a three night stay. Was very impressed to find a refrigerator, sink and microwave in the room. Also very friendly service with a smile.

The hotel is outstanding. Reception and services are perfect. Breakfast can be better if you add fruits variety.

The place looks new and was very clean and comfortable. A great place to spend the night as you fly into Manchester and then are heading north. Easy to get to off of the highway and easy to get back on. Clean rooms too!

"Rude Front Desk & Poor Service"

The night-time front desk clerk barely spoke during the check-in process. No "Welcome to Best Western. How can I help you", no "Your room number is ____, and this is how you get to it". Just a blank stare when I walked in. After I introduced myself, the clerk retrieved my reservation, punched a few keys on the computer, and slid the paperwork over to me for signing. After I signed the reservation form, all he said was "You're all set". I had to ask what room I was in and where it was. On the second night, at about 9:30 p.m., I got a call from the front desk stating that someone had complained of noise coming from my room. My kids and I were laying in bed watching T.V. at low volume. When I explained to the clerk that there must be a mistake, and that we weren't making any noise at all, he became quite rude. He said he was "just the messenger", and that I should keep the noise down. What noise?! We were laying in bed, half asleep! Lastly, the beverage vending machines on all three floors were either out of stock or out of service for all four nights that we stayed there. While restocking the machines may not be a function of the hotel staff, you'd think someone would have called the vending company and told them to get their machines re-filled. I was very shocked by the attitude of the hotel staff. I seemed as if they didn't care whether we were guests in their hotel or not. They certainly didn't do anything that would convince me to stay there in the future.

"Disappointing stay"

The hotel was clean, the service was acceptable, however one of our rooms did not have remote control for the TV, the vending machines were basically empty, some snacks available but absolutely NO drinks were available. I realize they had a biker weekend the week before, but I fail to see why they couldn't get vendors in to replenish the machines in a week. The "heated" pool was cold and the phones were not working. Overall, a disappointing stay and wouldn't stay at this hotel in the future.
