Hotel Europe Saint Severin Paris - París

Pros: - Great location: Central to everything. 1-block from Saint-Michel Boulevard and Saint-Michel subway station. Heart of Latin Quarter. Tons of cafes and restaurants right outside of hotel. 5-Minute walk to Notre Dame and 15-Minute walk to Louvre. - Great service: Concierge spoke English, and was very patient and helpful in answering our questions. Cons: - Breakfast: At check-in, they told us breakfast is served in the morning, and didn't mention any charges. However, at checkout they charged us 10-Euros (2 people) per day of breakfast.

This is a small hotel with extremely small rooms. Fortunately we already knew this. The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. We had two rooms and both were clean and in good condition. This hotel is in the heart of the action in the Latin Quarter and it was great. It was close to everything.

My wife and I stayed in this charming hotel for 3 nights in November 2009. It's small, charming and has a delightful staff who were able to help us with directions and suggestions. The neighborhood is great, very lively and fun. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with this small hotel. Our room was small and clean with a balcony. The staff were very polite and helpful. We did not buy the breakfast; however, we loved the Italian restaurant next door for dinner.

This hotel is an a perfect area. Many resturantes, bars and entertainment are very close to the hotel. The rooms were clean and the employees spoke clear english.

Great central location to see all the sites - either on foot or by metro. Sure, the location is busy at night with restaurants and bars but close the window and you won't hear anything. There was work going on updating rooms but there was no noise and it didnt disturb our stay. There rooms are small and compare well with similar hotels in NYC where space is at a premium. All in all a great location in central Paris. I would ceratinly return and stay there again.

this hotel is at the great location, very easy to get to from the airport, walking distance to all major attractions. if anything the area is a little too noisy and "touristy"

Clean and obviously recently refurbished. Great shower, great location. Facilities as expected for 2 star. Overall very satisfied and would recommend for anyone on a budget who wants the whole left bank Paris thing.

The hotel itself was wonderful inside and out. our room was small but cosy and had a balcony that looked out onto the street. It was everything we hoped a hotel would be like in Paris. It's location is ideal for getting a true feel of the Parisian lifestyle and culture.

The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and spoke excellent English. The location is outstanding. I was lucky enough to get the room with the wrap-around balcony and it had a great view of the surrounding area. I expected based on the location to hear a lot of outside noise, but the balcony doors did a great job of insulating almost all noise out. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but it really only affected the hallways and stairwells. Isis, the hotel cat, is very friendly, but only hung out in the lobby so those with allergies probably won't need to worry. There are 3-4 metro stops within a very short walking distance which makes it very easy to get around. There are a ton of great little restaurants nearby within a short walk. I am vegetarian and had no trouble finding something to eat on almost all menus. In summary, I highly recommend this hotel - it made my 8 day stay in Paris that much better.

This hotel is in a great location in the Latin Qrtr. It's walkable to numerous restaurants, shops, and sites. But beware, the street noise can be VERY loud at night. My friend and I are both heavy sleepers but even we woke up several times each night to street noise.

Nice hotel, unfortunately the cleaning ladies would start talking NON STOP in the hallways very early in the morning EVERY SINGLE DAY. The renovated rooms were very nice for a hotel in that budget, but if you want to sleep in the morning, forget it.

We would not recommend staying here for many reasons. First, it appears that the hotel has been in extended renovations for some time with little sign of change. Hallways were not lit, carpet torn, stairs unstained and unusable. Second, our room was so small that you couldn't open the door all the way as it hit the furniture that barely fit inside of it. You could not fit a large suitcase in the room. Third, some of the conditions / damage were unhealthy. One wall had wallpaper chipping off as a result of mold that was coming through the shower. Fourth, while the location was ideal in terms of its proximity to the Notre Dame area, it was excessively loud until the late hours of the day. The hotel is literally in one of the busiest streets of the Latin Quarters where all of the restaurants and bars are located. Tourists and young people hang out there until the late hours regardless of what day of the week it is, and you must sleep with open windows because it gets so hot in the hotel. You can definitely do better elsewhere.

I've stayed in several 2 star hotels in Paris and this was by far the best. The hotel staff were friendly, courteous and all spoke English. The stairs and halls were under renovation while we were there but that was not a major inconvenience. The location, right off Blvd. San Michel, was excellent - close to the Metro and walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Marais. I would definitely stay there again.

This Hotel was in a great location close to the Cathedral of Notre Dame and nice restaurants/nightlife. The staff were very friendly and communicated in my language (english), which is always helpful. The hotel room was clean and nicely appointed. I was upgraded from a single to a three person room for free, so I may be a little biased. There was some minor renovations going on in the hallways, but it didn't cause any disturbances while sleeping.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the metro. The reception is great but the condition of the hotel and its interor raises questions. The rooms are small but appear clean. In my judgement too expensive for what you get.

This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of the busy Latin quarter. Restuarants, Metro, Shops, Notre Dame are all within 5 minutes of the hotel. We paid extra for a larger room which was probably a good idea. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good value and serves good food for all tastes with a friendly smile. I cannot imagine why I would want to stay anywhere else when next in Paris.

Front desk staff was outstanding; spoke both English and French. Offered excellent directions and dinner locations. Hotel is under rennovation. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the Latin Quarter; a great move. Had breakfast and happy hour on the porch everyday.

The Hotel Europe Saint Severin is in an excellent location great access to public transportation and within easy walking distance of many museums. The staff is friendly, some of the rooms a bit small, fine for one or two, but with newly renovated rooms, and when I was there (July 2007), a major renovation project was going on. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beliggende yderst centralt i latinerkvarter, trehundrede meter. fra metro St. Michel og i modsat retning til RER St. Michel i lille sidegade. Døgnåben reception, personalet kan flere sprog og er venlige, velinformerede og servicemindede. Renholdelse grundigt og dagligt. For ti euro kan fås morgenmad, ok udvalg og andre måltider kan med rabat for hotelgæster fås i restaurant hørende til hotellet.

Det hyggeligste hotel i latinerkvarteret. Rigtig god service på hotellet og den sødeste lille hotel-kat: Isis. I gå afstand fra byens bedste restaurant kvarter. Dog meget larm!!! Hele natten!

Fin beliggenhet i gågate med kaféer og restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Jeg fikk et lite rom i høy 1 etg. med vindu ut mot gågaten. Litt "støy" fra restauranter og kafeer, men helt stille om natten. Et lite rom, fin plass for en person, men antagelig litt trangt for to. Renheten på bad og rom er topp. Jeg fikk et røykerom selv om jeg ba om ikke røyk. Litt uvilje med å yte service når jeg ba aller nådigst om et rombytte. Men ellers så var servicen på hotellet helt grei. Hyggelig service til frokost.

Ypperlig plassering midt i smørøyet av Paris. Koselig beliggenhet midt i Latinerkvarteret. Hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening. Små, men rene rom. God lydisolering.

Dette hotellet ligger sentralt i Latinerkvarteret og var veldig koselig. Personalet var hyggelige og snakket godt engelsk. Rommet var riktignok lite, men moderne og rent. Det eneste jeg har å utsette på dette hotellet var sengen. Den var forferdelig hard og klam.

Glem de 2 stjernene en eller annen har gitt dette hotellet. Vi har bodd på 4 stjerners hoteller som ikke kunne måle seg med dette! Et rustikt hotell med masse charme og meget vennlig betjening samt en god fransk frokost. "Consierge"en er en søt katt som ligger sammenrullet i sofaen i vestibylen. Ultra sentralt og midt i det sydende latinerkvartalet. Jo.....her bor vi med glede igjen

Hyggeligt, småt og super centralt. Dog en del larm om morgenen, når der skulle ryddes op efter "fest og balade" i Latinerkvateret. Hotellet er meget lydt!!! Der er hvad man skal bruge for at kunne overnattet, med en autentisk atmosfære.

Hotellet har ett perfekt läge mitt i latinkvarteren nära massor av restauranger, servärdheter och metron. Servicen var god med engelskspråkig personal. Rummet var helt okey men badrummet var litet, men annars ok. Vi kan rekommendera hotellet främst på dess perfekta läge.

Underbar personal, familjär stämning. Renovering pågick av trapphus och korridorer, men det störde inte på ngt sätt. Det centrala läget var helt fantastiskt, med gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheterna. Prisvärt och med ett sagoligt restaurangutbud runt om i grannskapet.
