Floris Louise - Bruselas

First impressions from check-in were good... friendly service, impressive lobby and early check-in was allowed at no charge (they had spare rooms avl). However, heading up to the room we noticed the wallpaper peeling off, cracks and a general state of disrepair. The room itself was very clean and tidy however the bathroom smelt as though someone had just used it (perhaps a drainage issue?) and the curtains were ripped in several places. The supersized cushions were the most uncomfortable bed pillows and we hardly slept a wink. But... saving the best for last....... upon check out we were accused of not having paid our internet bill, which we HAD paid the day before immediately after accessing the computers. He continuted to argue with me, threatening to get the booking agent involved and although we had already paid it... he was doing all this for a grand total of €2,50! Admittedly the hotel is a reasonable place to stay and before check out, the staff were most helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately this experience has skewed my rating negatively.

Except the good location (close to shops, trains, buses, restaurants, supermarkets), i must say that the service was not as described on the site. The iron and TV were out of order which were very important for my 5 day business trip. Also there was no air conditioning system.

Price/Quality very good, however I was expecting a bit higher end of a hotel from the description.This is definitely a neighborhood hotel. If you need to be in the Ave. Louise area, the price is quite good for this district.

We were impressed with the hotel generally and the breakfast were excellent. The thing that spoiled it for us was the lack of air-conditioning in a top floor room with one of the windows stuck shut. I have to say it was a hot and sticky weekend anyway - we had a thunder storm while we were there, but with only one window open we couldn't get a through draught so didn't sleep too well.

Floris Louise was a good pick, for its nice location, friendly staff, spacious room and bathroom.

Hotel tranquille ,personnel compétent et sympathique

Bon accueil et écoute de la demande client. J'y retournerai. Aspect extérieur ne figure pas l'intérieur. Ce qui, à Bruxelles, semble souvent le cas.

L'hôtel est bien situé, facile d'accès, près des transports en commun et dans un quartier agréable et calme. Les chambres sont spacieuses et il y a de la place pour le rangement. Le bar est confortable. Le choix est varié pour le petit-déjeuner qui est copieux.

Beetje donkere basic kamer, weinig raam, geen airco. Bedden op zich ok, en alles schoon. Receptie erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt prima.

Das Hotel war sehr nett, für Brüsseler Verhältnisse wirklich sehr ordentlich. Das Personal war super super freundlich und hilfsbereit, das war wirklich ein großes Plus. Ansonsten typisch belgische Architektur (= dünne Wände) und wie immer in Belgien entspricht 4-Sterne-Rating etwa 3-Sterne-Hotels in Deutschland u. Österreich. Frühstücksbüffet gut, Einrichtung sehr gemütlich. Vermutstropfen: Internet war sehr teuer, 5€/halbe Stunde. Insgesamt ist ein Hotel für den Preis in Brüssel 10 Minuten zu Fuss vom Parlament ein echter Glücksgriff!

freundlicher Service, sauber, bestens und ruhig gelegen

Bon accueil, chambre bien insonorisée et confortable, petit ascenseur casé dans un coin de l'escalier qui témoigne de murs anciens. Petit déjeuner impéccable, c'est vraiment une bonne adresse.

excellently located Hotel near to especially European business areas. Comparatively quiet. Very nice room, friendly service (that could have done with some extra training here and there - but was at least trying ..). Recommendable in every way.

L'albergo è centrale, comodo per gli spostamenti, molto pulito, ottima prima colazione, camere grandi. Scarsa illuninazione nella camera ma risolvibile con la comunicazione. ottima la tariffa we. Valutazione 4 stelle un po' esagerata. Direi un ottimo 3 stelle.

Hotel discret, très agréable, très accueillant et très bien tenu, calme et bien situé et d'un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Les chambres sont confortables. J'y séjourne chaque fois que je peux quand je viens à Bruxelles
