Picked this hotel for its location. Very close to Earls Court tube station. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was unlimited and included just about anything you could want, including champagne! Nice garden at back of hotel. Only downside was that we felt the beds were a bit too hard for us and had to request another pillow. Otherwise was a really pleasant stay.

Only a minutes walk from Earls Court tube so its central and easy to get to.Reception staff told us everything we needed and were able to answer questions. Comfortable bed, bathroom very small but functional. All you need for a base for a weekend in London. Beautiful gardens too if you get the sunshine!

This hotel was the least expensive of all we stayed in (London, Dublin, Edinburgh) but was among the very best. I will keep this hotel and this company on my list for future travel plans. I have already recommended them. A block from the underground.

We were very impressed by the hotel and it's staff. The room was small but very contemporary, clean and comfortable. It had everything you could need for a stay in London. The tube station, Earls Court, was very close by and the hotel was in easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend a visit to this hotel.

Hotel is close to the tube (Earls Court) but away from most tourist areas. The room was in okay condition but in the basement and had no sunlight or views. The bed was not very comfortable. There was NO wifi in the room but a high speed physical connection was provided. Breakfast was not included and costs 14 pounds per person per day.

Comentado por L, deIreland, el oct 5, 2008
This hotel was a pleasure to stay in and I would definitely return for another visit- the room was clean and quite large by London standards, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, right beside tube station on the district and circle lines offering easy access to most areas of central London. While the area itself did not have much in terms of tourist attractions/shopping opportunities, these are all easily accessible on the tube. While the lift seemed rickety and the floorboards creaky, our room was perfectly clean and we could have absolutely no complaints. The bar food was excellent and the staff there extremely efficient and pleasant at all times and I would recommend this as a great value hotel in a good area of London.

This is a great hotel in a quiet neighborhood on the Picadilly Line in the Kensington area of London. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean although small, as expected. Based on this stay I would consider other K+K Hotels.

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el ago 4, 2008.
The room was extremely small and the beds were very uncomfortable. The cramped feeling was made worse by the two large support pillars in the room. The bathroom was tiny. However, the rooms and entire hotel was very clean. They had a nice garden out back. The free internet was spotty. It is close to the Earl's Court tube station but not within walking distance to any of the sights we wanted to see. The hotel badly needs to upgrade the furniture and carpet in their rooms, especially the beds.

The beautiful garden alone is reason enough to stay at this hotel. Our room was very clean and quite comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood, yet walking distance from restaurants, shops and the underground. Although the hotel was being renovated, it didn't really disturb us because we left our room in the morining and didn't return til late in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the K+K for a weekend in July, 2008. The hotel was very nice, the staff was helpful and the room was very clean. The best part, however, was the location. Not only was it a short walk to the Earl's Court Station (which gave us access to the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines) but it was also close to multiple good restaurants - both for lunch/dinner as well as breakfast. The room was a little small and cramped for three adults but it had all the necessities (including free wireless internet) including a marble bathroom (shower only, no tub - which is okay by me). I would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed there in June 2008. A nice hotel in a more residential neighborhood, near several good museums. The staff is helpful; Internet is free; small stores and cafes nearby. We had a triple room that overlooked the hotel garden and it was quiet. Hotel is near the Earls Court station which has direct access to the Circle and Piccadilly metro lines. It would have been nice if our reservation had included the breakfast (it is expensive),but we could shop nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in a great location. As prices in London are double those in the USA, it was great to have many choices of inexpensive and good restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast which is advertised at the hotel was not included in the price of the room. It costs 14 pounds or 28 dollars per person. The backyard garden was really lovely.

this hotel is the best for the price of most London hotels. it is in a great location, near the Earl's Court tube station, the room was clean and modern, there is a beautiful garden in the rear of the hotel and it has friendly knowledgable staff. one night, we asked the front desk person to recommend a good, reasonably priced curry retsaurant which we could walk to and his recommendation was wonderful! we are looking forward to staying at the K+K George on our next visit.

Rooms are really really small. No, I mean REALLY small. I was travelling alone on business, so thought it would be fine. But if I was a man, or any bigger I would not have fit in the bed/room. It is very clean and has most everything you need (hair dryer, wood hangers)but no clock and the TV did not work.

But then again that may be every hotel in London these days! Beware - room rate booked on website doesn't include breakfast - to buy on your own costs $28. (We went to a bakery around the corner) Hotel is OK - close to tube, could've been worse... One of two elevators was busted the entire week we were there, staff was aloof, but helpful when called on. Will try another hotel next time.

The hotel was clean and modern. It is located on a side street so it was quiet. Close to the bus and train stops. Internet connection is available in the room and there is 1 computer in the lobby to check emails.

This convenient hotel looks Victorian on the outside but is modern on the inside. Our room appeared to have been very recently remodeled and featured a private bath with granite and marble features. The multilingual staff was very helpful. Earlier reviews said there were issues with the elevators but we had absolutely no trouble at all. This hotel is 1 block from the 'Tube' and every kind of fast food and dining you can imagine, plus small grocery stores, 2 laundromats, post office, etc. We loved it!

Loved the hotel, impeccable service, very clean and beautiful rooms, very modern, renovated baths, good neighborhood, close to the tube, less than 15 min from center of London and all major attractions. Felt so comfortable here, stayed at another K&K in Paris, same quality. Just pricey, but would definitely return. "Standard" rooms are tight but highly recommend this hotel.

Not too sure what we would get when I booked, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was huge (compared to our room in Paris) and clean. The hotel allowed smoking in the common areas; was too smoky in the room with the computers. But the fact that the hotel had computers and printers was a major plus. The selling point for us was the location. It is a nice neighborhood with pubs and the GBK is awesome. It's about a block from a tube station that goes directly to Heathrow or to Wimbledon! If we decide to go to Wimbledon again, we will definitely stay here.

I really loved the garden in the back. The staff were very patient and courteous considering my friend and I were out in the gardens both late at night and early in the morning! The hotel breakfast was divine! Simply the best breakfast I have ever had. The room was perfectly adequate and comfortable. The location of the hotel is not exactly central, but close enough to the tube station that it does not represent a difficulty to get around. I would strongly recommend this hotel to just about anyone - though I don't have children so I can't say how it would be for them.

The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel in a nice residential area within easy walking distance of the Tube and a small commercial district. The hotel is modern, well maintained with continuous investments in improvements. Rooms are not huge, but good value compared to many in London. Service was friendly. Free Internet, an extra lounge for reading and relaxing, and a fireplace by the bar were nice touches.

Very close to Earl's Court Tube station. Solid front desk staff. Free internet access. Nice room, clean, safe. Would recommend this hotel and would probably stay there again when I return to London. Only complaint is that they allow smoking in the lounge - I would prefer that there be no smoking allowed in the building at all.
