Much nicer than expected. The room was small, but clean and updated. The hotel staff was great. We were in walking distance to the harbor which was exactly what we wanted. We were also able to use the pool even after check out, which our kids loved.

Good hotel in walking distance to Convention Center and Inner Harbor. Rooms were nice, but small. Bathroom was a little dated, but clean. Front Desk was very helpful and accomodating. Attahced restaurant was very good for breakfast. It would be nice if breakfast was included in the room rate, but it is not. We would stay again.

This was very convient for my stay as it was business and all of the meetings were very close by. I felt very safe walking to everywhere I needed to go. Everyone was very helpful and the hotel was old but in very good shape. I never had to move my car after I got there, everything from food to baseball game was in a short walking distance. I will try to return when I can enjoy all the area had to offer. Loved the area.

Upon checking in we noticed that our toilet was leaking from the bottom after flushing. We called the front desk who claimed to be sending a handy man to the room. When we checked out two days later the toilet was still broken and no one showed up to rectify the issue. The turndown service literally took all day to complete. We left the room on two different occasions for at least two hours each time and still returned to an unmade room. It wasn't until after attending the Orioles game that our room was ready. The beds were also extremely stiff. The hotel was inexpensive for the Harbor, but we will never stay there again.

Outstanding value and comfortable walking distance to the inner harbor. Our 4 year old walked back and forth twice a day without complaint. Also in walking distance to the Port Discovery Children's Museum. Our only complaint is that we thought the breakfast buffet was not very good. Ordering fresh food off the breakfast menu was comparable in price and much better. Overall a great family choice!!

The Days Inn Inner Harbor was right around the corner from the National Aquarium and shopping centers - a 5-10 minute walk. The parking was less expensive here than any of the other Inner Harbor hotels; it's in a public parking garage next to the hotel, but the hotel can actually program your ticket so you get unlimited access for a full 24 hours and then they can charge it to your room instead of paying at the garage machines. There's no continental breakfast, but the room came with a fridge and microwave, and there's a CVS about 10 minutes away, so bringing/making your own breakfast isn't a hassle. The room was slightly cramped because the sink is located in front of the beds while the shower/toilet have their own separate room, but it's not too much of an inconvenience. If I go back to Baltimore, I would definitely stay here again.

I was a little hesitant about this hotel as it was less expensive than I anticipated and their was an Orioles game that night as well. The room was satisfactory however the bathroom was very small and it could have had better pillows. It had a fridge and a microwave as well as wireless internet which was a plus. Another plus was a game system (Game Cube) as an option on the television with a fee of $8/hour. The hotels best features are its convenient location to Inner Harbor as well as having a hotel/bar in it.

Comentado por Jim, deNeversink, el ago 31, 2009
Overall, fantastic deal on a fine hotel. The only real issue was very strong mixture of "perfume" odors--probably cleaners and maybe scents to mask previous smoking in the hotel (it's non-smoking now but probably has not always been--I did not smell smoke, though). I'll say the odors were quite strong and somewhat unpleasant at first, but we did adjust quickly and it wasn't a problem. Good fitness center, small but nice pool, nice business center, very professional staff. Perfect location for an Orioles game (about 3 minute walk) and for the Inner Harbor (8-10 minute walk). If you have trouble with perfume scents, you might want to pass, but anyone else, go for it. And if you take the train in, you CAN catch the light rail to the hotel--I called and they said take a cab or a bus but never told me there was light rail. It stops at Orioles Park a few minutes walk away (no problem unless you're packing for a year-long expedition), and a buck sixty is better than the ten-spot I gave the cabbie.

Great location, staff was very friendly and went out of their way to address any concerns. The only thing is watch out for the parking fees they hit you up with and room safe. Room safe not a big deal well worth the $1 per day, but parking is $20 per day and they don't tell you until check out. So add $21 to whatever price they quote you. It be nice to know what you are actually paying when you book a hotel.

Coming in from Rt. 95, you can reach the hotel quickly. They have their own attached parking garage which makes this a wonderful place to stay when in the city. Out the front door you have about a 5 minute walk to the Inner Harbor area. Restaurants and entertainment is right there. You don't have to go much further.

To start, one of the elevators (there were only 2) was broken so it was quite annoying to have to wait 10 minutes to get one, and sometimes even longer as when it did arrive b/c it was packed with people. Carrying luggage up 5 flights of stairs with 2 little kids is not my idea of good service. We had 2 beds in our room (we thought they were Queen beds) but it turns out they only had full size beds. So fitting a family of 4 into one room was quite cramped. The bathroom was so small that the sink was by the front door. And to top it all off, they charged 2x as much for parking! If you weren't a guest you could park in the garage for $20 for up to 24 hours. We were told that we had to pay $40 even though we were there less than 24 hours in the same garage! Because we were a hotel guest our parking ended at noon and we had to pay for an additional day! And the resturant service was even worse. The waiter put a steaming hot coffee pot in front of my child while he poured the OJ. It almost burned his arm and I had to rip him off his chair to avoid it burning him. Who sits a hot coffee pot in front of a child? Overall horrible experience. This is the 1st time I have ever complained about a Hotel so you should take my advice seriously and NOT STAY HERE! Lori

We got to Baltimore late morning of our check in date and to our surprise the room was ready. Our room was on the 6th floor and upon exiting the elevator, you could detect a 'musty' odor not bad but.... when we opened the door the room, we can detect the same smell.... My wife said it was because the A/C wasn't on so I proceeded to turn it on. We had tickets to the ballgame that day so we figured the smell would be gone when we got back. Well after several hours at the game, we returned to the same smell. The maid was still on our floor so I asked her to come in and see if she could smell it. She did and had maintenance come up. They replaced the filters and sprayed some stuff on the AC to no avail. Before leaving for supper, I asked the front desk to have someone look at it again which they did. Upon arriving back, they said there was something wrong with the unit and gave us a different room without any problems. Other than that, the hotel was nice, kids loved the pool, breakfast buffet was good. Overall a very good trip. I've stayed in this hotel before and have never been disappointed.

Camden Yards is about 2 blocks to the right and the Harbor is about 4 blocks to the left of the hotel. The area seems to be safe, the hotel is basically located in Downtown Baltimore the hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. The hotel does not provide parking and recommends the parking garage located behind the hotel for approx $20 per day there is also a municipal parking garage directly across the street for approx $16 per day. Took the MARC train from Penn station to DC for the day, approx $14 r/t weekdays and the train ride is about 1 hr.

The hotel was nice except they failed to mention that it is $20 a night to park in the lot. I did not expect that I would have to pay for parking, and it is about 4 blocks back from the harbor so you need to walk because you can not move your car. It is a large city and we did not feel comfortable walking late at night, so we left the harbor early to get back to the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and beautiful rooms. But I would have liked to know about the parking situation.

My family stayed here while visiting the Inner Harbor and it exceeded our expectations. Not many amenities on site but we did not stay here for the amenities. The hotel is attached to a parking garage so finding a parking space in the city is easy and the parking rates are on par with parking garages in other northeastern cities (we're from Philly). The hotel room was average size and clean. The outdoor pool was sufficient considering we were not staying at a luxury resort and more than adequate for my two young sons to swim for a little while. And the proximity to area attractions is A+...two block walk to inner harbor (aquarium, natural science museum and numerous restaurants), walking distance to Camden Yards, Raven Stadium & Convention Center. Great pub next door. And all of the hotels surrounding the Harbor were considerably more expensive so we believe this is a great "bang for the buck".
