Hotel Borges - Lisbon

Not worth it. Room wasn't cleaned properly- there was hair in the bathtub and sink. The bed smelled. The room had shoddy windows facing the square and it was loud day and night with buskers, traffic, drunks etc.

The Hotel Borges is situated in the perfect location for strolling around the city centre. It is also a short stroll from where the airport bus drops you off and near one of the main railway stations. One of the tram stops for seeing a lot of the city from an old traditional tram is very close. Outside is a rather noisy, but lively, area of cafes and street performers and a room at the side is preferable to a room at the front. The hotel staff are functional rather than particularly friendly, but the room (for the price) was fine - clean and a good size. We only had the inclusive brekfast once, and that was enough. The best breakfasts that we had were at the Rossio train station and other cafes. If you want somewhere central and reasonably priced, this hotel is fine.

The front desk needs to be friendlier and more helpful. The hallways have a stale smell that needs to be removed. The interiors need to be updated. We were not confident that the bed linens were clean.

Went for a weekend, the location was IDEAL but the hotel was 'okay'. They sent us to a room that was being cleaned and waited outside for 20 minutes in the hall. It's just a room, nothing to it, hole in the wall that had paper stuck in it as the patch? But we only slept there so overall, because of the location ... I'm semi-satisfied.

Right by metro, very close to everything in barrio alto

Ryddig måte å bli tatt i mot på i resepsjonen Stor flott leilighet Stor terasse med ettermiddagssol og utsikt Veldig ryddig og rent i hele området Vakt hele døgnet. Flott område omkring svømmebasseng og fin tennisbane Vi benyttet nok mest stranden men var nede å så på og spiste en kveld Ca ti min å gå ned til marinaen og byen Bra med vaskemaskin og oppvaskmaskin

Das Frühstück ist lächerlich.Nur zwei Sorten Marmelade.Zwei unterschiedliche Brötchen.Sirupsaft aus Automat.Kaffee ebenfalls aus Automat.Dann sollte ehrlicherweise ohne Frühstück gebucht werden können.

Ypperlig beliggenhet. Tror ikke jeg så et smil i ansiktet på de ansatte i resepsjonen på dagtid på 4 dager. Svært mager frokost. Spartansk rom. For dyrt i forhold til hva du fikk igjen.

Beliggende i Bairro Alto med gåavstand til det aller meste som er verd å se i Lisboa. Yrende liv om kvelden og nær hovedgågata om dagen.

L'unica cosa positiva che può essere degna delle sue tre stelle è la posizione strategica in rue de Garret, quindi centralissima. Per il resto, l'albergo non merita più di una stella, dato che le camere sono fatiscenti e maleodoranti (almeno lo era la nostra, in cui il bagno puzzava di muffa e di stantio); la colazione era talmente scadente da preferire saltarla, il servizio all'accueil minimale. Mi rendo conto che dobbiate suggerire soluzioni di tutti i prezzi e livelli, secondo me però in questo caso è opportuno almeno ridimensionare il numero di stelle con cui viene presentato. Il mio commento mira solo a darvi un contributo per il vostro buon servizio (che comunque per me rimane assolutamente serio e affidabile!).

Hotellet ligger utmerket til for alle severdigheter og shopping. Hotellet var helt greit, rent men noe slitt og servicen i resepsjonen var dårlig. Frokosten vi fikk var elendig så vi kjøpte faktisk pålegg som vi tok med. Prisen for høy i forhold til standard.

Le prix est raisonnable, l'hotel est tres bien placé (dans le centre, a coté du metro, ...). Par contre il n'est pas en super état et on a vu une blatte...
