The hotel, for a capital city hotel was nice, the rooms were comfey, the size of the rooms was a little small, but hey your not going to spend time in your hotel room. The facilities at the hotel like sauna and steam room were at the hotel over the road, and were very nice. remember that on the continent they are less shy about going naked!

Very reasonably priced, very comfortable and excellent service. Directly opposite a Metro station and within walking distance to many main attractions. Street was a bit noisy at night and there was no airconditioning, but it wasn't too bad. Fantastic breakfast is included. Also - hotel has a washer/dryer in the basement which was very convenient.

no complaints, would stay again beside Marcksice Museum UBahn 15 min walk to Alexander Platz

Only as little as 100 yards from the entrance/exit to the U Bahn at Markische Museum, this hotel is perfectly located for the end of a long day touring Berlin on your feet. Friendly and accommodating staff. Sister hotel across the street has a computer in the lobby where you can buy time in increments from 15 minutes and up. If you have a sensitive nose, this might not be the place for you since the smell of sulphur invades your nostrils every now and again. This can be pleasantly offset by the smells coming from the on-site Indian Restaurant which we tried on our first night.

I would define the DERAG HOTEL AND LIVING Hotel Henriette not hotel but a small family hotel.The room was very basic,there was not a kettle for tea or coffee in the room,not a single pen and instead an air conditioning system there were some old radiators and the floor covered by a old,bad taste carpet.The smell of curry from the next door indian restaurant was umpleasant and penetrating and the luggage room was so small that most of the guests couldnt leave their luggage there and had to find an alternative solution.Not impressed..defo what you would expect from a rated four stars hotel.

Location/ price ratio = excellent (5-10 min walk to Alexander platz). Staff - extremely helpful. Inconvenient check in/ check out times, but I guess it's the same in Berlin overall? Nice room, good breakfast, Indian restaurant inside, but I did not like food there. Nothing that makes this hotel stand out really. Besides, I love freebies, and there were none, even water. I'll try another hotel next time.

Had a great trip, the hotel was excellent, staff very helpful, facilities great. Very central location and will stay there next time.

Stayed 5 nights in room 670 which is huge. Breakfast buffet is very nice. Reception staff very helpfull. Great hotel for the money.

The receptionist was very helpful.

Clean hotel, comfortable bed, safe area. Hotel is about 10 minutes from city center on U-bahn. U-bahn stop is right across street from hotel.

Convenient to city and comfortable

The hotel is lovely, and the staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. The subway is 20 yards from the hotel entrance and easy to get anywhere int he city in 15 minutes. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The indian restaurant next door is very good and the staff nice and the restaurant in the partner hotel also nice. I would stay in this hotel again and again.

We stayed three nights in the hotel Henriette, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was not hugely spacious but nice and quiet. The situation of the hotel is great: accross the road from the underground and less than ten minute walk from Alexander Platz. Our only critic is that the hotel was really warm. We were there in the first week of July and the weather was lovely (sunny and temp of 20-25 degrees) however inside the room was rather stuffy like if someone had put the heating on. Sleeping was as a result very difficult even with both windows wide open. I would go back to this hotel but only in winter.

The hotel is situated in former East Berlin about a 10 minute stroll to Alexanderplatz & the massive but impressive TV Tower & around 12 mins walk to the Berliner Dom (Cathedral). The hotel is correctly 4 star graded. The staff were extremely helpful, the hotel is in good condition & looks very clean. I stayed in a twin room of a decent size with plenty of natural daylight overlooking the river. The room had a TV with a fair amount of German channels; BBC News & CNN were the only english channels though. The bed was very comfortable. Small kitchenette with all the expected utilities inc Microwave/Fridge; Coffee/Tea making facilities; Working desk; Electronic safe for valuables and cabinet with wine glasses & minibar. Bathroom was a good size, clean with bath & shower. Can't comment on the restuarant or breakfast as I ate out all the time. This hotel is suitable for all - Couples, business, families, young kids, business or leisure people. My only slightly negative comment was that there was no internet access in my room and the wi-fi was only available in the small reception at what I thought was slightly expensive rates. In any event, I was unable to connect to the weak signal. Bit of a letdown as Wi-Fi was a main criteria during my search for a hotel in the first place but the hotel itself was very good. I would definitely sconsider staying here again!

The room was not as big as was expected, however it was still comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the location is very convenient. Price was high for room though.

We spent three days at the Henriette, and these were the best of our multi-city trip. The hotel was in an excellent area, the staff were pleasant and spoke English very well. The room was large, clean and very modern- chic furniture and a very comfy bed. The best part, however, was the continental breakfast. They offered a huge selection of fresh foods, ranging from eggs, sausages, fruit, deli meats and cheeses, excellent breads, fresh croissants and Nutella and jams, coffee, tea, juices, etc! The U-bahn was right outside the door, and all the central sites are a short walk away. All in all, this is a ridiculously amazing hotel!

It's always a little frightening booking a hotel in Europe - you're never quite sure what you'll get! I was so blown away by this hotel - modern, spacious, great bathrooms...Not what you always hear from Americans staying in Europe! From now on, I'll always try to stay in a Derag Hotel.

Big and clean room. Excelent location (two steps from the subway station). Very nice staff. Delicious breakfast. I definetly recommend it.

Rent, snyggt och komfortabelt hotell, i relativt litet format. Något förvirrat namn, eftersom hotellets skyltar anger Henriette som huvudnamn. Taxichauffören var fundersam. Bra frukostbuffé. Enda nackdel var att rummet var lite för varmt och svårt att temperaturreglera, men tack vare relativt lugn trafik i området kunde man sova med fönster öppna.

Hyggeligt hotel med meget fin central beliggenhed. Fin morgenbuffet. Eneste minus er, at restaurenten er kun for yndere af indisk mad.

Bra hotell med trevlig personal. Restauranger fanns i närheten och det var gångavstånd till tågförbindelserna vid Alexanderplatz.

Frukosten var en höjdare. Vi hade egen spis, mickro, vattenkokare och kylskåp på rummet! Som vanligt är det för varmt på hotelrum. Tunelbanan ligger precis utanför hotellet och floden, perfekt.

più che positivo il giudizio globale , buone dimensioni della camera, molto bene la colazione, ottima la pulizia, buona l'ubicazione in zona servita da metro ma molto tranquilla. lato negativo invece la mancanza di aria condizionata per cui nei pochi periodi caldi di Berlino (e io ho trovato sei giorni di sole con una temperatura dai 28 ai 30 gradi) le camere sono veramente calde e per di più sul letto c'è solo il piumino; piccolo anche il bagno senza alcun piano d'appoggio.

Vi är mycket nöjda med vårt hotellval. Utmärkt enkelt hotel med vänlig personal i bra läge, 20 m. fr. tunnelbanan och 15 minuters promenad från Alexanderplatz.

Jeg boede på søsterhotellet Grosse Kurfürst, på et dejligt værelse og med stort morgenbord - til en rimelig pris.

voor een rust na een lange wandelingen in Berlijn kan je beter dit hotel nemen

Das Haus hat eine ruhige, aber zentrale Lage;direkt ander U-Bahn und zu Fuß nicht weit zur Oper.Zimmer sauber und gut eingerichtet. Bad etwas dürftig ausgestattet. Keine Ablagen. Besonders günstig das angeschlossene indische Restaurant mit guter Küche-preiswert.

Vi var inbokade paa Hotel Henriette men blev av naagon anledning ombokad till systerhotellet paa andra sidan gatan, baada hotellen ligger vaeldigt centralmoch till ett hyfsat pris. Mycket bra frukost och trevlig flerspraakig personal. Det enda som drar ner poaengen var att entren till hotellet var inte handikappvaenlig utan man maaste gaa upp och ner foer trapporna naer man skall in och ut genom entren. De andra nackdelarna var att jag saknade en vattenkokare paa rummet och att sedan var internet avgiftsbelagt. Hotellet rekomenderar jag gaerna till andra resenaerer och kommermgarna tillbaka. Tutto perfetto ma l'impatto non è stato dei migliori. E' vero che non sono una grande conoscitrice delle lingue e che sono arrivata alle 10 invece delle 14, ma l'addetta alla reception sembrava molto infastidita della presenza e mi sono sentita molto a disagio. In breve tutto al top ma deve migliorare la relazione con il cliente seppur italiano...in fondo paghiamo come il resto degli europei.

Perfekt läge 20 meter från uppgång röd linje U-bahn. Nära till Alexanderplats och Mitte. God frukost, särskilt för den som gillar köttpålägg.

Ett bra boende nära Alexanderplatz 30m till u-ban sedan 3min till centrum mysigt hotell men de kan förv.lite Engelska frukosten kanon, och den Indiska rest,på hotellet var fantastisk+++++

Pænt hotel med beliggenhed tæt på U-banen. Udmærket Indisk restaurant.

Gångavstånd till flera sevärdheter. Ett stenkast från U-bahn. Nära till pitoreska Nikolaikvarteren med många restauranger. Hotellfrukosten är utmärkt mycket att välja på.

Schoen renoviertes 4-Sterne-Hotel etwas abseits der grossen Strassen, aber direkt (10 m) an der U-Bahn gelegen. Fischer- und Museumsinsel lassen sich zu Fuss prima erkunden, mit der U2 ist man in ca. 15 Minuten am Ku-Damm. Wichtig sind auch die kostenlosen Parkplaetze in der nahe gelegenen Wohngegend.

Hotel im Zentrum, Ausstattung und Service gut. Allerdings kann man die Fenster nachts nicht öffnen, da Straßenlärm doch beträchtlich

Ett hotell som är stylat i gammal stil med ny fräsch inredning. Frukosten var superb. Det lugna läget i östberlin med närhet till det mesta gör att vi gärna återvänder till detta hotell nästa gång vi åker till Berlin.

Centralt hotell, gångavstånd till centrum m m. Bra service. Rummets renlighet utmärkt. Hyfsad frukostbuffé. Inget att anmärka på, tvärtom. Om det är något man önskar så är det att personalens kunskaper i engelska kunde vara bättre, gäller hela gamla Östberlin, exvis kunde personen som sålde tågbiljetter vid Alexanderplatz inte ett ord engelska. Jag rekommenderar gärna hotellet till andra gäster.

Fräscht hotell som ligger bra. Tunnelbanestationen ligger precis vid hotellet och bara två stationer från Alexanderplatz. Finns en mysig indisk restaurang vid hotellet.

sehr gut gelegenes Stadthotel mit perfekter Verkehrsanbindung, Service freundlich, Zimmer sehr sauber und für die Großstadtlage verhältnismäßig ruhig, Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist kein Autolärm zu hören. Dank eingebauter Kitchenette ist Selbstversorgung möglich. Das Hotel ist uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen.
