"Brilliant stopover for a beach visit"

The Ramada at Redondo Beach is almost a little gem! It's located literally 5 minutes away from the beach (which is very easy to find!) and we chose it as our first night accommodation for a much larger California trip. I'ts in a nice area and just a short walk up the road leads you to lots of restaurants and of course to Redondo Beach and pier itself. The place feels a little dated and I certainly wouldn't want to stay there for more than a few nights but as an overnight stopover near a brilliant beach, nothing really comes close in terms of quality AND price.

I liked the room great for the price. Needs a swimming pool otherwise it is at walking distance to the beach. Overall It was better than I expected.I will definitely stay here again!

we travel a lot around the world, but the ramada we cannot recommend. for the money we paid we get really nothing. please choose another hotel

Good location but very bad rooms. it smelled of kids pee all the time. we had taken 2 rooms. the other room was slightly better. our room stinked!!

This hotel in Redondo beach was a great place to stay. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, the staff was very courteous and they have free parking! The location is wonderful as it is just a block or two walking from the beach. Also, every morning you have a free continental breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Redondo Beach.

The hotel is convenient if you are spending time in Redondo Beach. Accomodations are adequate, nothing fancy. During my stay, there was maintenance being done in the main parking lot, so a bit of an inconvenience and extra noise. Overall, not bad for the price.

"Great location / No Frills Good value"

Frig and Microwaves worked well. Very limited parking at ground level, plenty of parking underground - no elevators so not good location for those needing wheelchair/or can't handle stairs. Right next to a restraunt and convienece store so anything you need is close. Spa did not work well. The staff tried to accomodate special requests. Breakfast was nothing special but always fresh and clean.

It's only 3 blocks from the beach. You get free wifi, DirecTV, and breakfast. It's small, quiet, and easy to find parking. It does its job well. It exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay there again.

Is a little worn but for location and the money it was good enough. Just to sleep it was a good hotel. But a great location. Five minute walk to the beach and pier.

Good safe parking although the stair-wells are dark and dingy, not sure a single woman would be happy using them.

We asked the man behind the desk if there was a good place to eat within walking distance, and he had us go just a few blocks to 'the pier' where we found many great choices for dinner. The walls were pretty thin, and I did hear lots of street noise, and people walking on the stairs, but was overall very pleased.

There was an odor in the room and I had to deal with it the first night! Hotel had bed bugs and I was full of bites when I left! Would not stay there again! I advised hotel to take care of room 111!

We booked a 10 night stay at this hotel, and it was awful. Not only did they not disclose that the hotel is under construction, but the room was anything but clean and the stains in the rug were, well, you get the idea. I am not a hotel snob as for me they are usually just a place to sleep, but this one didn't even fit that bill. I left after the first night and found another hotel. It needs a full renovation.

"great hotel for needing access to LA Airport and beach"

i would recommend this hotel as it is easy to get to, its on the coastal side of LA great access to the hotel and you feel safe while you are there, it is a motel style but if you have been on a road trip up the coast or are going on one this is a standard motel in terms of its accommodation, clean, good breakfast easy to get to and the main thing again is its a safe area so you can relax and enjoy. i would recommend one night stopover to or from LA airport

Great, and so close to the beach...The sound of traffic made it kind of hard for my husband to sleep but I slept though it. We would stay there again anyway, we liked the location and price.

We are not hotel snobs, but after our experience at this hotel, we will never go cheap again. Our room was filthy, we even found hairs in our sheets. To make matters worse, there were no bath towels in our room. When we requested towels, the manager brought them to us and they were still wet. The carpets had not been vacuumed either. Oh and the parking is located underground and is filthy and frightening.

Clean room in a not-so-nice area of town. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, people were lined up on the balcony/walkway smoking, I had to run a gauntlet of smokers to get ice or to the office. Quiet room, no street noise, located right next to a liquor store - good or bad feature? Small hot tub, did not use it... we checked out and stayed in another hotel for our 2nd night in town.

This hotel is walking distance to the beach" its a great location. the staff was very courteous and the manager was very helpful. I would definetly recomend this hotel and come back on my next trip.

I stayed in a room right on the main road and it was very noisy. The room felt a little "unclean" Many little things in room that were in a state of disrepair.

needs allot of improvement. Staff at desk was rude. Called me by hte wrong name twice. The room was filthy, smelled horrible infact, I left a day early and paid for another hotel the second night.
