next door to transport to and from the Arlanda airport, walking distance to most city attractions and sights, good breakfest, nice little restaurant all for reasonable cost. Staff is very helpfull

Was only there one night this time, but have stayed before. Very convenient, as it's virtually connected to the Arlanda Express terminal, the Central Station, and nearby hotels, restaurants, etc. Rooms are small (as in all of Sweden), but clean and functional. Free broadband (cable) but charge for wireless. Would recommend to any business traveler who wants a central location.

Situated just 2 minutes from the bus terminal (from all the airports) and train terminal from Arlanda, it is very convenient and central for all the visitor activities. Sound insultation is excellent in the rooms, however there are no views from the hotel windows, just buildings all round. The rooms are not large, but of adequate size and our standard one was comfortable and nicely furnished. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast buffet was good, however at peak times some queuing was required for some items and tea/coffee machines were struggling to cope (one being out of order). Overall satisfactory visit, and would return.

We booked this hotel primarily due to its close location to the train station (right outside the Arlanda Express). we ended up getting a fantastic hotel, a very clean and comfortable room, and a great experience. The staff was nice and let us check our bags before check-in. The room was comfortable and very clean. Big bathtub. One downside is there was construction going on in the neighborhood so about 8am each morning we heard some noise, but it was not that bad. Great breakfast (ok, amazing breakfast) each morning, and I would stay here again.

For the mature traveler arriving in Stockholm by air or rail, this hotel is ideal. It is located within 30 paces of the Arlanda Express rail service from the airport and within 150 yards of the Central Station. The hotel was clean and very comfortable.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this hotel was so perfect I wanted to write about it. I stayed for 12 nights and loved it. First, the location can't be beat. It is footsteps from the Arlandia Express airport train and a short walk from the central subway station. You can also easily walk to Gamla Stan or any other of the main parts of Stockholm that you'll want to see from here. Very centrally located. FYI - I noticed a lot of people complaining that they couldn't find the hotel from the central station...just look for a huge sign for the Absolut Icebar, which is in the lobby. It's also right next door to the MAX's fast food restaurant. BTW - of all the things to complain about, that's pretty minor. For the hotel itself, it definitely met and surpassed expectations. The room is small, but normal for European standards. It has great furnishings (a good bed and desk), air conditioning, and plug-in high speed internet right in the room. It was very comfortable and modern. And it had a good bathroom with a real good shower. The morning breakfast was also very good and had a wide selection. The only slight downside was that almost every morning the breakfast was so busy that it was hard to get a seat and I had to sit at the bar. Which wasn't a huge deal. Anyway, if you are visiting Stockholm, I cannot recommend a hotel more highly for the price than the Nordic Sea. It is great place. I will definitely come back if I return to Stockholm

location. my room had no window, but did not really care, since i was only sleeping and since sun never sets, was probably a good thing. this hotel has the Ice bar, which is a fun activity. Great breakfast.

This is a great hotel. It so convenient! You only have to walk through the train station to get to it. Just follow the signs that direct you to the Arlanda Express ticket counter. You go past the counter and exit the building. The main entrance is 20 yards away. The main entrance doesn't face Vasaplan, so this is the best way to get to it. They have a very knowlegeable and curteous staff at the desk. The breakfasts are excellent! There is always a lot of activity in the lobby. They have two bars. (especially the heavily promoted Ice Bar) It's never quiet in the lobby, but the rooms are. That's the important part.

This hotel is very nice, we stayed in a buget room that had bunk beds. The breakfast is great so fill up on it because lunch and dinner can get expensive in the greater Stockholm area.

This hotel is in an extremely convenient location, right next to the train station and literally a few steps from the Arlanda Express station. I had one of the interior rooms with no window but that only means that I wasn't bothered by the midnight sun. The room was a little cramped but comfortable otherwise.

I visited Stockholm for a quick overnight stay and this hotel was ideal. Located next to the central stop for the express train to the airport (20mins), I was off the plane and in my hotel room well within an hour. I did the budget room ( no windows) but it had everything I needed including a great breakfast. Ice Bar located in the hotel is also worth a visit - you get a discount as a guest. Definately stay here again!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this hotel, It's very close to the bus station where you get dropped off from the airports, so was extremely convenient. And it's within walking distance to one of the prettiest parts of the city, Gamla Stan, but if you don't fancy walking, the tube stop is just across the road. It's nice and clean with pleasant, simple decor and the staff were very helpful. Our room was a good size - the bathroom was also not too small, very clean and had a nice, powerful shower. Breakfast was good but the tables weren't plentiful - we had to look hard for a free seat. But the food itself was nice and there was a good choice on offer. Look out for the amusing Homer Simpson quote on the wall above the breakfast buffet table! The ice bar in the hotel is expensive but good fun - an interesting experience! Overall, I like this hotel - it's comfortable and central and ideal for a weekend break.

Great reception staff, accomodated my 7:30 am early arrival by giving me breakfast while they cleaned a room even though previous night was a sell out. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Free internet was appreciated. Breakfast buffet is very generous and excellent quality food. Would recommend to anybody for business or pleasure.

The Climate control and breakfast were good. However I found the upper bed on the bunkbed not comfortable (bad mattress) and the cushions didn't support the head. Location is excellent. Personnel friendly

The location is perfect! it's next to central station and close to lots of nice places, very convenient. They offer different types of rooms for different types of budgets, and they all include the same filling and varied breakfast. The decor of the hotel is simple but nice. I loved the big fish tank in the entrance and the ice bar.

Fantastic value - clean and modern rooms, fantastic full buffet breakfast and so central!

Perfect Location, right next to T Central, walking distance to Stureplan, Gamla stan, and you have the ice bar in your hotel. Couldn't have been more convenient. And as always Swedish hospitality with all staff we encountered. Highly recommended.

After a long overnight bus trip it was fantastic to check in early to a great room and recover. The bath was especially good! New Year's Eve had a variety of options including dinner, dancing and the ice bar. It was a great trip and would recommend the Nordic Sea to anyone.

Location was the best part. Taxis in abundance right outside and to get to the airport you just walked a few steps over to the Arlanda Banan train. Restaurant was below expectation, though. Food was good, but the atmosphere was a disappointment given it was a 4 star hotel.

Considering such a big thing is made of the 'ice bar' at the hotel , it's a pity we couldn't get into it. We weren't told when booking the hotel that reservations for the ice bar were essential and were disappointed that hotel guests do not get priority.

The Nordic Sea was super comfortable, it is in a great location and they offered a wonderful breakfast everyday. I would highly recomend this hotel.

Overall an Excellent Hotel. Hotel well maintained, clean and well presented. Standard Double rooms a liitle small but covers all traveller requirements, beds extremely comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. Breakfast is excellent and caters to all tastes, well spread out so no need to que. BUT Room service appalling don't expect to get anything decent to eat after 21.30, kitchens close at 22.00 but they don't accept orders after 21.30, then the bar food is poor quality and limited in choice. Room cards quote room service is available until 23.30 which is a lie. In establishing these facts we were met with surly and unhelpful staff.

I selected this hotel as it was next to the Central Station. It is just outside the entrance to the Arlanda Express Train from the airport but no one could seem to guide us to this convenience upon arriving. I even called the hotel prior to arriving as one of your previous reviews discussed this same problem. The Hotel was absolutely no help saying they could not guide us to the easiest way to find them until we were already there which made no sense. We did not feel welcomed at the registration desk by one particular clerk which I wrote up on the hotel feedback. She seemed to be annoyed at helping us with anything throughout our stay.

Opposite Arlanda Express, not far from old town. Hotel was excellent, very clean and modern. Breakfasts was also very good, a good selection. A visit to the ice bar is a must - what an experience.

Good central location, meters from arlanda Express terminal. very difficult to find by car. Rooms very comfortable but small. Workmen outside woken early. Staff in restraunt a bit sharp. Ice bar was fun but an Expensive luxury. Value for money average. Next time would find cheaper alternative.

Nice people and friendly staff. The ice bar is worth visiting. One peroblem is that the hotel is very close to the main station and there is an easy way to get out of the station and right into the hotel. But they don't tell you that even when you call or do not say specifically how to get to the hotel from the station. Having this on the web site wold be fantastic.

Stockholm is a oustanding and underated city. The Nordic Sea hotel compliments this city's culture and beauty very well. The hotel is clean, chic and comfortable, the standard rooms are a bit on the small size, but have excellent beds and nice fixtures in the bathrooms. The staff is knowledgeable and interested in helping you explore Stockholm. As an added bonus, the free breakfast is fresh and tastey. The Ice Bar is touristy, but worth a visit, just make reservations ahead of time. The Arlanda Airport Express train is steps away, and the central station is a block away; making the Nordic Sea sitting in a prime loaction and acts as a gateway to this fantastic city. Enjoy your stay!

Mediocre rooms need attention

Pros: Right next to Arlanda Express train from airport, great transfer point to other places, breakfast looked good but didn't have it. Cons: Area is Port-Authority like (not hip), room is small

Vom Flughafen Arlana mit dem Arlanda Express in 20 Minuten, dann aussteigen, rausgehen und rein ins Hotel gehen. Schneller und einfacher geht es nicht. Hotel ist gut, mein Zimmer war ruhig und in Ordnung. Anscheinend kleines Upgrade. :)

Vi var veldig fornøyd med alle fasiliteter på hotellet. Mest av alt var vi fornøyd med beliggenheten. Med bare ett par minutters gange kom man rett inn i Drottningsgatan.

Bra priser med Bra rum med en god och stor frukost buffe

Þjónusta var góð, morgunmaturinn frábær nema kaffið. Herbergið var notalegt, ekki stórt en snyrtilegt og allt til staðar sem þarf. Mætti vera meira af Shower geli og baðsalti. Frábær staðsetning og yndislegt hótel !

Var der i 1.5 døgn før toalettet ble fikset.Klaget mange ganger

100m von der Bahn, 300m vom Bus zum Flughafen entfernt. Stadtzentrum in 10 Min zu Fuß erreichbar. Gutes Frühstück. Zimmer einfach aber sauber, zum Innenhof ruhig. Badezimmer auch OK. Lobby mit Bar und gratis Internet (+ Drucker). Im Hotel die berühmte Ice Bar.

Vi är jätte nöjda med våran vistelse på Sea Nordic, rummet var över förväntan. Det var fräscht, härlig inredning, det kändes välkommnande att komm in i rummet. Ett lagom stort rum för två personer, ett separat sovrum och ett tv-rum. Jätte trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Vi kunde inte ha bott på ett bättre hotell. Det var verkligen jätte fint där och det låg centralt, när till allt

Centralt och mycket bra pris för det centrala läget. Det stämmer som övriga kommentterat att de är lite underbemannade men det är inte så farligt.
