Park Hotel Blub Berlin - Berlín

Although it's not the most convenient location being situated halfway between Schonefeld airport and the centre of Berlin it's cheap, clean and the staff are friendly. It's relatively easy to get to from the city on the U7 U-bahn line (Zone B) but if you are coming from the airport it is a 30 minute bus ride (Bus 172). I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget who's not fussed about staying in the centre of Berlin.

Nice and clean hotel. Hotel in very good condition. The rooms are pretty large and confortable, but there's no air conditioning in the the room. It's not in the city centre, but it's near an underground station, which will take to Berlin city centre in about 15 minutes. If you are arriving in Berlin Schonefeld airport, make sure to take the bus to Rudow station (line U7) and from there take the underground to Grenzalle. This will make you arrive in less than 30 minutes!

As travelers on a budget we appreciated the clean, welcoming space of Hotel Blub. the rooms didn't have the glitz of a 5 star hotel in Italy, but the staff had "5-Star" concern for helping us feel comfortable and get around the city. Public transportation was excellent. Location on the blue line of the U-bahn made it a long, but easy ride to and from the airport and train station.

I was quite impressed with this hotel. For the price that I booked it at, I did not expect to get such a nice room and service and the location really isn't bad. Perhaps a 10 minute walk to the Ubahn really isn't terrible people. It was a nice walk through residential Berlin.

The bus 171 to Franz Korner Strasse from the airport, bus stop across the road from the hotel was an excellent start to our stay. UBahn Grezallee 5mins walk away.

This hotel is a gem of a place,we where a party of 4 older travellers.We had read other reviews of this hotel and they where all true.Yes it is out of town but if coming from schonefeld airport it is so easy to get to.outside arrivals terminal is bus 171.This takes to right outside the hotel get off at U Grenzallee stop,it shows up on the electric stop indicator,walk back 300 meters and cross the road you walk over a bridge and the Hotel is round the next corner on the right.Check in was good and the rooms,large,comfy beds and nice big shower or bath and shower.No Tea/Coffee machine,so take your own.Breakfast is dear at 12 euros,but looked good.Bar is a nice area and the drinks no dearer than anywhere else in Berlin.All rooms clean and lovely.they have a baggage room,brillian for luggage when on late flights back home.Staff all friendly and helpful,all spoke english,we had some laughs at our trying to speak german.It is abit out of twon but the U bahn is near and that takes you into town in no time at all.The area around is nice and no problem walking home late at night.When we go back to Berlin we will book this hotel again.

Hotel clean and well maintained, staff helpfull and curteous. However restaurant in the hotel is very expensive as is the bar. Although rooms are equipped with most needs, there are no tea / Coffee making facilities which was disappointing. A bit out of the way also.

My room was extraordinarily cheap, and it was still very clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful, restaurant nice. Not in the most convenient location, but still worth the money..

Hotel was clean and secure, the staff was very friendly. Lucked out with a very nice corner room that had a ton of space. Wasn't as close to city centre as I would have liked, but would definitely stay there again..

The U7 makes transport easy between Schonfeld and Tegel airports, centre and hotel. Hotel was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfasts had lots of choice and are recommended. The staff were very helpful, checking out opening times of museums and locations of restaurants. A very good experience. The only negative was the rather expensive and limiting internet access.

The Park Hotel Blub is located on Buschkrugalle, a main street with rather heavy traffic at all hours. Luckily the windows are fairly well soundproofed. My room was spartan but clean, and the staff friendly if somewhat disorganized - there was a hotel questionnaire on the bed but it had already been filled in by a previous occupant, and I received a 6 am wake up call that I hadn't ordered. My biggest complaint about the room was the shower which changed temperature back and forth between freezing and scalding without regard to my attempts to control it. The bus to and from the Schönefeld airport stops close to the hotel which can be a plus.

Friendliness of the staff and cleaness of rooms are outstanding. Convenient location, quiet district makes it good choice for the money being spent.

This hotel was perfect for what I needed. The room was clean but a little cramped. Bathroom was clean and a good size. My room had air conditioning, some did not. Road noise was a slight problem as my room faced the street. It was about a five minute walk to the underground. A bus stop was across the street. The people were friendly. I never ate in the hotel so I can't comment on the food. Internet was available but very expensive. I would stay here again.

We had a pleasant stay in this quiet hotel, which was not centrally located but not difficult to get to the city centre either. The staff were polite and helpful. One thing to look out for is that the breakfast is very expensive at ?12 per person per breakfast and wasn't particularly good either. Overall it is a perfect hotel if you want to see the city on the cheap and don't plan on spending your whole stay in the hotel. Beware though, the water park next door has been closed since 2005, now there is only a sauna there.

About as far as you can get from Tegel Airport and the taxi ride cost 35 euros. On the way home I took the underground and bus for 2 euros and it took the same amount of time. Nice staff and clean, but dated, rooms. The suites are large studios and all come with twin beds. A five minute walk down a major thoroughfare to the Underground and you have quick access to all of Berlin.

The hotel itself was was fine. The price was excellent, and it was very convenient to a subway stop in order to get to downtown Berlin easily. The problem was the employees. They were often needlessly surly, and their English skills (good thing I still remembered some German) were either "fair" or practically "non-existent". My wife tried to call me the first night in the hotel, and the staff could not understand her in the least.

It is a brisk walk to the train station but very close to the convention center.Taxi cab ride to downtown will run you approx.20.00

The hotel was very clean and in a good location with the metro only about 100 meters from the hotel. From Tegel airport, it took around 20 min. and 30.30 euro to arrive.

Het hotel was makkelijk te vinden en toen we aankwamen waren we 6 uur te vroeg, gelukkig konden we de bagage achterlaten en Berlijn vast gaan verkennen. Om half 2 ingechecked en de hotelkamer bekeken, deze was mooi schoon, de hotelkamer was verder niet heel bijzonder, maar goed genoeg om te slapen.

Hotel is located at the outskirt of Berlin, but only 5 minutes from Grenzallee Uunderground. We had breakfast on the hotel which was pretty good, but did not buy the breakfast from home which saved us 2 € each person - each breakfast. We also saved 4 € by parking outside of hotel (30 sec walk) because we have an old car. Very friendly staff - no complants whatsoever. You might find hotels closer to the city centre, but we liked this one and will go again.

Hotel confortevole e pulito. Buone le dimensioni della camera e del bagno. Ben collegato all'aeroporto di Schoenefeld dal bus 171 con fermata Franz Korner Strasse a pochi passi dall'hotel, e al centro della città dalla U-Bahn Grenzallee a 5 min. a piedi. Data la posizione molto decentrata, consiglierei questo hotel soltanto per la vicinanza all'aeroporto ma non per lunghi soggiorni.

Das Hotel ist sauber und gut geführt. Die Zimmer nach hinten zum Parkplatz sind sehr ruhig. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz und Tiefgarage bieten ausreichend Parkraum. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist gut, die Bushaltestelle liegt direkt am Hotel, S- und U-Bahn sind in der Nähe. Die weitere Umgebung des Hotels ist noch erheblich erneuerungsbedürftig.

Diese hervorragende Leistung für den Preis habe ich nicht erwartet! Das Hotel ist zwar nicht zentral gelegen, aber gut mit Bus und Bahn zu erreichen.

My second stay at Park Hotel Blub wasn't as successful as the first. This time I had a room just above the main entrance wich caused a lot of noise from the small sitting place in front of the hotel every night until 2.am and since the rooms facing the parkinglot aren't air conditioned you are forced to sleeping with all windows opened during hot periods.

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht von der hochwertigen Ausstattung des Zimmers und der Sauberkat. Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Hotel empfehle ich auf jeden Fall weiter, nur in heissen Tagen kann es ohne Klmaanlage sehr heiß werden.

Unser Zimmer war geräumig , mit ansprechender Ausstattung und alles zu einem fairen Preis.

4 Dagen in Berlijn geweest. Prima hotel. Centrum goed te bereiken. Uitstekende Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding Gaan zeker nog eens terug !!!

Billig hotell med grei standard. Elendig restaurant.

Unser Zimmer lag angenehm ruhig zum Innenhof. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Geräumiges, helles Bad mit Dusche. Diese dürfte etwas größer sein, war aber ausreichend. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstücksbuffett von frischem Obst bis zu frischem Gemüse und Müsli war alles reichlich vorhanden. Restaurant lag in schönem hellen überdachten Innenhof. Nach dem Auschecken war die kostenfreie Gepäckaufbewarung bis zum Abend möglich. U-Bahn in ca. 800m

Opholdet var helt igennem upåklageligt, en meget venlig og imødekommende betjening.

Mkt trevlig personal. Fick ett mycket större rum än vad vi beställt! Superb frukost (dock aningen dyr, enda minuset.) Kan inte annat än rekommendera, betalade 1700 för fyra nätter för två personer, oslagbart i den priskategorin!

God størrelse værelser og morgenmaden over standard, specielt udvalget af frisk frugt og oste. Det tager 5 min. at gå til nærmeste U-Bahn. Der kører også bus udenfor hotellet og de to stop til U-Bahn.

Good hotel, clean rooms and good service, friendly staff and close distance to the subway system, can realy recomend this hotel.

Sauberkeit setze ich in einem Hotel sowieso als selbstverstädndlich voraus, das allerdings war alles was an diesem Hotel gut ist. Das Hotel weißt sich mit 4 Sternen aus. Ich werde jetzt mal alles aufzählen was NICHTS mit 4 Sternen zu tun hat und weshalb ich das Hotel auf keinen Fall empfehlen kann: Fenster wenig schalldicht, Vorhänge machen nicht wirklich dunkel, Bad veraltet und nicht schön, beim Frühstück muss man früh genug kommen, weil sonst fast alles aus ist, der Service war ellerhöchstens mittelmäßig. Und noch einige weitere kleine Unannehmlichkeiten... 2 -3 Sterne mehr auf keinen Fall!!

This is a very nice, clean hotel. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is a bit expensive (though it looked nice) but there are plenty of places nearby where one can grab a sandwich. The subway station is 5 minutes away, though you do have transfer at least once, usually twice to get into town. Overall, an excellent hotel that I would really recommend.

This is a very nice hotel. - The rooms were very clean. - Friendly staff. - Good service. - On walking distance of the Uban. - Only little point is that we had a room at a busy road, if the windows are closed you cant hear it.

Das Park Hotel Blub liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, dafür ist es ein wirklich angenehm geführtes, ruhiges Hotel. Die Freundlichkeit und die Sauberkeit fallen auf. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas umfangreicher sein, es entspricht aber den Ansprüchen und ist daher ausreichend.
