We loved the hotel! Beautiful, very large and opulent room, marble bathroom, with balcony overlooking the Bosphorus, delicious gourmet buffet breakfast, gorgeous landscaped hotel grounds with swimming pool, beautiful lobby and outdoor restaurants/bars. We would definitely stay in the Istanbul Hilton again!

"Outsatanding hotel"

Though built over fifty years ago the Istanbul Hilton remains a splendid architectural statement by Skidmore Owings and Merrill. The breakfast is terrific, as are all the services. The hotel has extensive gardens and a beautiful pool area and spa. Despite having to take a cab to the Sulthanamet area, the hotel is an oasis of calm and repose at a better price than the newer chain hotels nearby.

"Excellent Choice"

This hotel lives up to the Hilton name. Obviously, it's not one of the cheaper options, but if you want to splurge a little and indulge yourself, this is the hotel to pick. Taxi rides are cheap so it's not a bad location and the views of the Bosphorus are impressive. The amenities (sauna, turkish bath, steam bath and massages) are also well worth it.

"Nice but could be better"

The Hilton is well presented and has great facilities but the one drawback for non business travellers is the cost of things in the hotel - mini bar prices are astronomical (£6 for a stick of gum, £12 for a small can of pringles). I dont usually mind paying minibar premiums but 10 times the retail price of something is ridiculous. Also WIFI is a rip off. These prices really spoil an otherwise pleasant experience. Location is OK but is 15 minute up hill walk to Taksim square and not close to any restaurants, bars or anythign really.

"The Best in Istanbul"

I've stayed at The Marmara, Conrad, and finally here. By far, this is the most professional hotel staff I have seen in Turkey. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. You will not be disappointed. It's a bit on the expensive side, such as 30 ytl for breakfast, and drinks at the bar and mini bar costs a fortune. But if you don't mind it's excellent. Unlike Marmara which is right on Taksim Square, Hilton is isolated enough to be a good rest, but not too far. The BEST in Istanbul I have seen so far.

On our 2nd trip to Istanbul, we chose Hilton. It was a superb choice. A 5 star hotel that deserves every one of them. Perfectly located, majestically overseeing Bosporus, surprisingly quiet despite some roadworks on its side. When we arrived they upgraded us-without asking- to a corner deluxe room overseeing Nisantasi and Bosporus. Breakfast was the real deal. The indoor pool and Health Club were absolutely neat and clean. The stuff was always kind, available, smiling and willing to help and assist on any request. It will be definitely our choice when in Istanbul again.

Der Gesamteindruck dieses Hotels ist hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben sind dazu noch Küche und Bar. Das Ambiente ist zudem unübertrefflich.
