Everything in real is smaller than you see from the photo. Also, bathroom is quite bad, always hot and cold water switching all the time even you dont adjust anything. If you meet big guy and white hair receiption, he is very bad an impolite but others are okay and nice.

Because of my travel plans it was important to be near Gare du Nord; the hotel was clean, service was professional, the room was very small --- not a place where you would want to spend much time.. and it was all that i needed at a very good price.

We picked this hotel due to the location for Eurostar, metro etc and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though quite small. Was a bit noisey at night, but again ok for short city break. Only thing missing was a bar fridge which would be helpful. Great location, Metro and Nord across the street, walking distance to a alot of attractions. All in all a great hotel for a short trip to Paris.

Hotel was as advertised. We arrived late at night from the trainstation. Very short walk did not feel unsafe as some reviewers posted. Our room was small, but clean. Gentleman behind the desk was very friendly. Tiny elevator and shower, good a/c. Our non smoking room did not smell like smoke. it was good for what we needed.

The hotel itself wasn't bad, just the overpriced money gouging area it's in. Traveling into the city you will find similar or better prices for goods/services then around the Gare Du Nord. I suspect they figure tourist must come right off of the Eurostar; so let's take them for another ride...

This small hotel (with tiny lift) is very handy for the Gard du Nord station, and there are a few cafes around. The best quality was the Terminus Nord dating from the 1920s. The hotel was being redecorated when we stayed, and our room still smelled of paint so we asked for another room, which was provided. Once the refurbishments are complete, it will be better but it was adequate. The rooms themselves were comfortable and quite stylish - more so than the exterior and environs would suggest.

I've stayed at a lot of hostels and hotels, and I camp a lot, too. This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Granted, the location is nice, when you arrive at Gare du Nord, you can walk across the street to the hotel, but this is the only plus. The staff is extremely rude. I've been in Paris 3 times, I speak a lot a French, and I've dealt with a lot of French character. In addition, I've traveled all over the world including third world countries, but these guys were by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I had a sick sister in my room and they wouldn't let me take food to her. I tried to use the internet, and they said I was too stupid to understand it. Rude, rude, rude. In a service industry, people like this should be put out of business. Besides that, the rooms are terribly small, the showers spray all over the bathroom, and the middle floor is under construction, for which they thought it would be a good idea to have demolition going at 8 am on new year's day. In addition, the hot water was "under repair" meaning we had the choice of either scalding hot water or freezing cold water. This place is absolutely terrible. I would rather sleep in the subway than stay here again.

On a review I read, it said you can leave your luggage in the office. But when we asked a front desk worker, "Do you mind if we leave our luggage so we could see a couple things?" His reply was (word for word), "Do I mind??? Of course I mind, but can you leave it? That's up to you because I won't be held responsible for anything that happens to it. There's been numerous times that luggage has just walked out of here and it won't be my fault if it's not here when you get back!" So if that doesn't sum up the hotel's safety/location and customer service I don't know what does! Needless to say, we luckily saw all of Paris the day before and it was raining so we sat in the hotel with our luggage and waited till our flight. Also if you plan on eating breakfast be prepared to pay for it! Breakfast is NOT included on an internet booking, but they don't tell you that when you arrive! So for the price of 6 euros/person it was not worth it. If you're looking for just a place to sleep the room was clean and the hotel is located right next to the train station. Of course being next to the train station was convenient but probably not the safest. There were numerous bums around the area who asked for money. 2 girls decline to give money to one of them while they sat outside the café across the street and the bum literally got up in their face and yelled at them in French for like 2 minutes! If you're with someone who you feel safe with and just want a bed to sleep in then go for it, but if you're alone I do not recommend staying here. I'm seriously not one to complain because I'm used to "roughing it" since I camp/backpack frequently, but you get what you pay for!

This hotel is perfect if, like us you're only looking for somewhere safe to keep your luggage and belongings and somewhere to put your head down in between exploring the city. Smallish room but comfortable enough after a long day sight seeing. It was a bit of a trek to the main sights in Paris but extremely handy for the train station - Directly opposite the main terminal for eurostar. Also there were plenty of cafes and bars close by for eating. Overall what you would expect from a 2 star hotel.

With the Euro being so expensive, this hotel was a good deal. Also, the hotel is right across "la Gare du Nord", with easy subway access to all the main places in Paris. Don't expect much of the bedroom. Breakfast is not included. But all in all is a good deal.

The hotel was right across the street from the Gare du Nord train station as well as a metro station so getting around was very easy. However, the shower was super small!! For the price it definitely delivered.

conveinient local right by train station and good price but at least 20-30 min walk to sites. Good hotel. bit loud, but not too bad. NO breakfast included, however. Great for a budget traveler. We stayed one night.

Clean and very conveniently located.

The hotel is in the very good location, across from the train station. Some staff members speak English and are very helpful for information of getting around the area. However, the room needs improvement on staying clean. The bathroom was very small and smelly.

The hotel was in a great location, which is why I booked it. It did have central AC and that was nice. The elevator was tiny and the room smelled. Their was no shower curtain so whenever we had a shower it got the whole room wet, plus the drain in the floor smelled a foul odor. The staff was not helpful and had an attitude. It ruined our stay in Paris and I would not recommend the hotel.

Our room in the Nord Hotel was clean, complete (even a hair drier), relatively inexpensive but tight (not many square meters). We were pleasently surprised by how quiet a hotel on a very busy street could be.

Very convenient as a hotel to stay at if you need to catch a train at Gard de Nord (it is directly across the strett)

Daytime Front desk clerk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The large cigarette burns on my comforter, and the slightly uncomfortable bed, were able to be overlooked due to the very short duration of my stay and the little terrace that my room had overlooking the Gare Du Nord and it's surrounding Cafe's and other businesses.

Pas de télécommande et pas d'eau chaude le matin

malgré la "petitesse" de la chambre, celle-ci est agréable, aucun bruit. J'ai vraiment aimé la proximité de l'hôtel avec la gare du Nord, il suffit juste de sortir à la sortie rue de saint quentin et l'hôtel se trouve juste en face. Personnel agréable, hôtel propre.

Hotellet ligger mittemot stationen. Receptionen var liten men väldigt vänlig engelstalande personal. Badrummen var fräscha och rummen var små men helt ok med tanke på att priset var väldigt modest. Ett helt ok hotell som jag gärna rekommenderar om du vill lägga pengar på annat än boende (Paris var för övrigt väldigt dyrt!).

I only stayed one night & honestly picked the hotel more out of the convinient distance from Gare du Nord (trainstation) than anything else, it's literally situated across the road =) but the staff was so friendly & helpful and the room neat & tidy. comfy beds too =) will definatley recomend especially if you are travelling onwards via train.

Hotêl quelconque, prix éléver par apport au service, sans petit déjeuner et pour un confort minimum. sont seul intêret réside dans le faite qu'il est en face de la gare du nord

Das Hotel Kyriad am gare du Nord liegt in idealer Lage um es als Ausgangspunkt für einen Paristrip zu nutzen. Auch das betriebsame Leben am Gare du Nord war durch entsprechende Fenster kaum zu hören. Ebenso finden sich ordentliche Restaurants in der Nähe. Das etwas enge DZ war wohl gerade frisch renoviert,-ein starker (Maler-)Farbgeruch erfüllte das Zimmer. Auf dem frisch bezogenen Bett fanden sich Haare (vermutlich) von der dunkelhaarigen Putzfrau. Zimmertelefon sowie Fön funktionierten nicht. Auf meine Meldung der Störung erfolgte keine Bereinigung innerhalb des Aufenthalts. Das Bad war sauber und ok.Einer der concierges bot seine Hilfe als "Transporteur" an-indem er eine 1,7 km lange Fahrt zum Hopital St.Louis für 35.- Euro anbot , was ich dankend ablehnte - das später in Anspruch genommene Taxi kostete gerade 14.- Euro.

Les 2 étoiles se suivent et ne ressemblent pas. Gare du Nord, le plein semble assuré alors pourquoi s'embêter? Les photos du site sont plus que flateuses... Tout est approximatif dans cet hotel!

Återigen: under ombyggnad, smutsigt och brandfarligt

De eerste indruk van dit hotel is niet geweldig. De inkom is oud en groezelig en straalt absoluut geen netheid uit. Ik hield mijn hart vast voor de kamer... De kamer was echter spectaculair goed: schoon, in goede staat, beste badkamer die ik al ooit in een Frans hotel meemaakte, zelfs in hogere categorieën. Zeer comfortabel bed.

reception personell english speaking. my expectations to the hotel was not big, so in that repect the Hotel was okay, clean room, instant coffe boiler at the room ok,little bit noise from the street as our room was facing the trainstation Gare du nord.

Pænt og rent hotel. Brusebad UDEN badekar. Absolut en fordel for mit vedkommende. Lidt skabsplads med hylder ville være godt, og et køleskab/minibar ville være helt fint, men desværre. Alt i alt dog et godt hotel med god service og beliggenhed lige overfor Gare du Nord.

Lit très confortable, chambre propre, la salle de bain sentait un peu le renfermé. nuisance extérieure: très faible pourtant le quartier est assez animé nuisance intérieure : uniquement la salle de bain du voisin télévision un peu trop haute par rapport au recul du lit petit déjeuner complet mais dans une partie du hall, donc en plein courant d'air

piccolo albergo di fronte alla gare du nord adatto a viaggi di affari per persone non troppo esigenti. La camera era fredda all'arrivo, poi abbiamo acceso il riscaldamento ed é andata bene. Pavimenti e doccia non sono pulitissimi, solo accettabili. Attualmente ci sono lavori in corso alla facciata esterna e non si vede nulla dalle finestre! illetto era molto comodo e l'arredamento abbastanza carino e funzionale.

grundsätzlich nicht schlecht. ärgerlich war das nachträglich verrechnete frühstück, obwohl die option gebucht wurde. die nicht vorhandene möglichkeit, gepäck zwischenzulagern ist lästig.

Parmi la pleiade d'hotels en face de gare du Nord pas facile de faire son choix! pour une escapade Parisienne d'un weekend, celui-la est d'un bin raport qualite-prix. Chambre extraordinairement calme, meme si la petite voix de la SNCF peut reveiller le matin ;-). J'y retournerai sans hesiter!
