Hotel Trevi - Roma

We had an incredibly difficult time finding this hotel. There were several other hotels in the area with similar names. This left us dragging our luggage around for about an hour. When we did finally arrive at the correct hotel, the staff told us there were no more rooms available and they would be taking us to another hotel. This took us about 10 minutes away and was very frustrating as our tour was picking us up from that hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Our only problem with the Hotel was difficulty when booking a cab to the airport. We were quoted 85Euros yet the cab insisted it was 110 due to some fee. The room was reasonable and clean.

Desk staff are grumpy and unhelpful. I had to argue with one of them in order to get my possessions out of the hotel safe. I could not use the safe in the room because it was not bolted down. Also, I was told upon arrival that the room I had reserved was unavailable and we were put in a fourth floor room that was in a separate building and did not have an elevator. The location is excellent, however.

hidden from the main attraction (trevi fountain), it is great as we are shielded from the noise when the trevi is swamped with people. central to amenities and other attractions of Rome, this quaint little place is perfect. however, do peel your eyes wide when you are heading for it, as it is off in a little alley, it's easy to miss.

This hotel is a bit hard to find, but it's only about 100 yards from the Trevi Fountain. This makes it very convenient for many sites, including the Forum, Coliseum, Pantheon, and others. Lots of restaurants nearby. It seemed very reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Trivi Hotel from 15th Jan to 18th Jan - arrived late but found nice restaurant arround corner. were given two rooms allong the street and very nice they were. one was more of a mini-suit. The staff were very helpfull, I would recomend this Hotel to my friends. BUT please watch the Taxi drivers, they agree to take you to the airport and then go to the wrong one - Then charge you to travel between the two saying "you said this one not that" its a scam - we refused to pay the extra demanded and volunteered to get the police - the taxi driver ran! Don't pay any more than 40 Euros for the airport trip and that is top price.

Hotel Trevi is a very nice place to stay in Rome. My room was small but very nice and clean. The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is just perfect.

once of the receptionist was very helpful while another one was hard to deal with...over all good hotel, good location.

Great location, you can walk anywhere in Rome from this location. Great service, and room was clean and comfortable. I would and have highly recommended Hotel Trevi.

The hotel was 2 mins from Trevi fountain and the metro and bus stop was a 10 minute walk. The front staff was very helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

In a place like Rome, it's nice to know you know the way baack to your hotel (almost all signs pointed the way to the Trevi fountain, so we were never lost!) We had a nice size suite (for 4 people) with an inside room for 2 (king bed). The bathroom was very large too! They provided a lot of extras for us. Breakfast was nice (not gourmet, but plenty of food).

Four girl friends all stayed at the Hotel Trevi's Family room and I must stay that at first sight I thought we were staying in a 4+ star room. The room is closer to the size of a small apartment (minus a kitchen). It has ultra modern design with flat screen TVs and nice modern closet space. The bathroom looked as if it were a part of a luxury spa (hot tub with jets, a rain shower and then a rolling waterfall shower? you could have a real party in the bath room if you wanted to. The master queen (or king size bed was very nice) but the 2nd bed (fold out couch was less than optimal). The sofa bed was so hard that those of us that slept on the bed all had back problems the next morning. The breakfast was nice and over all the hotel was beautiful and clean. I did notice however that the other rooms in the hotel (Not the family room we stayed in) were all much smaller and older not as nice... more typical of Rome hotel rooms. We were next door, as mentioned this was more like a separate small condo or apartment next to the hotel. I would of overlooked how bad the sofa bed was if it had not been for the really obnoxious noise that the locals made outside our door every morning between the hours of 4:30am-5:30am. The noise was so bad, I had to get out of bed one morning and literally scream at the locals in my broken Italian to shut up as it was 5am and we were all sleeping. The problem as it turned out was that right outside our hotel room was the office for the local waste company (and they all started work at 4:30ish am everyday). So need less to say there was a lot of noise outside the room in the early morning and the walls seemed as if they were made out of paper because we could hear everything. None of us were able to get a good night sleep the 4 nights we were there. However that said we were not in the room much and the location was PERFECT. If you don't care about the loud noise and that someone has to sleep on the hard sofa bed I say this is the

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain, it's in a great spot to walk to all the sites. We walked easily to the Vatican, Colosseum/Forum, Spanish Steps, and Campo de' Fiori. The rooms are small, like most other hotels in rome, but every room did have their own bathroom. The major disappointment for us was the front desk service. We had just spent the prior week staying at small bed and breakfasts in southern Italy, so we had grown accustomed to the inn keepers being very helpful. For the most part, the people at the front desk only did the minimum to get us checked in, and when we asked for dinner recommendations or something similar they weren't very helpful. That all being said, the location made up for everything

The hotel was lovely as a base for exploring Rome. It is fairly basic with no restaurant but there are many in the very nearby streets. The room and bathroom were both very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were multilingual and very helpful - offering to arrange tours for us and stored our bags before check in so we could go siteseeing.

Very friendly, helpful staff. We extended our stay for a night at the last minute during a busy time and Franco was able to accommodate us. Single rooms are small, but doubles are very nice. Being so close to Trevi and the heart of Rome in a traditional "old world" hotel was just right for us. It is tucked away enough that you cannot hear street noises. We drove to the hotel with the help of a GPS nav system. Franco had the car picked up and taken to a parking garage for duration of the stay. Highly recommend the Trevi. A superb hotel at a good price.

My wife, 8 year old boy, 2 year old boy, and I, really enjoyed this hotel. Good location, the room was great, everything was lovely.

Breakfast area was slightly larger than a walk-in closet. Very cramped and mediocre food. Room opens directly to alley. When alley is clean, very charming. Often it is not and so you open the door to a variety of odors.

Typical for a small hotel in Italy, the rented room was in another building than the office and breakfast area. Location was great, just around the corner from the Trevi Fountain. Room was recently renovated. Our room was on the 5th floor and only had steep stairs to get to the room (again, typical of Italy). The breakfast room is on their roof terrace of the hotel office and we found it too much effort to go down our stairs and up the office stairs for breakfast; we just ate breakfast in our travels. Even though, the room was nice and the hotel is centrally located. I would consider staying there again if I return to Rome.

This hotel is only a couple of blocks from the Trevi fountain, but VERY hard to find for taxi drivers! Very old building, miniscule bathroom (esp shower), but ambience was great. It is on a very tiny street/alley in a very old section of Rome, but the location couldn't be beat if you want to be close to all the sightseeing. We walked to everything.

Only problem we had was they never replaced the toilet paper. We had to go out and buy our own.

This hotel is awesome and it is in the best location. The rooms are great and customer service is great as well. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

this hotel was in a great location, on a fairly quiet little side street but only one block from the trevi fountain, with several little cafes right nearby. we asked for two rooms each with two twin beds and one room had a king so we had to switch on the second night. the king bed was too big for the box spring and was very uncomfortable, rooms were very small and plain, but the service was good and breakfast food and breakfast room was very nice.

Veldig sentralt hotell, må være den beste plassen og bo når man besøker Roma. Man får med seg Trevi fontenen by night, verdt å se! Rommene var små. Akkurat plass til 2 voksne og en koffert. Blir fort rotete på små rom, men i Roma er man knapt på rommet så det fungerte bra for vår del. Enkel frokost, men god Cappucino serveres.

Meget sentral beliggenhet rett ved Trevi-fontenen betyr gang-avstand til det meste av severdigheter. Litt lite rom, men grei komfort med dusj-bad, TV, air-condition og minibar :-) Veldig hyggelig atmosfære i frokost-terrassen i 5.etg! Av alle små hoteller i Roma, var dette midt i blinken for oss. Og billig.

Helt ok hotell för 1-2 nätters övernattning i Rom. Vårt rum låg över gränden och hade rumsdörren direkt ut på en bakgata/gränd. Rummet var stort och rent. Liten men trevlig frukostservering med gott bröd och kaffe.

selskabet, er 2 familer der rejser sammen, da vi ankommer bæres vore kufferter ud af hotellet, vi løber efter kuffertbærere, et par gader væk ind i en opgang. Den ene famile installeres i et værelse, den anden får anvist et vær. på etagen ovenover. Desværre var værelset beboet, og familien løber atter efter kuffertmænd, andre gader, ny trist betonopgang. Endelig på plads, mikrovær. opredning til vores datter, på fjedre. I løbet af ugen lykkedes det familierne, at skulle hente nye nøgler flere gange sent om aftenen efter en lang dag i Roms kulturliv, idet låsen/kortet ikke virkede. Morgenmaden var mildest talt kaotisk og mangelfuld. Alle borde var optagede eller fyldte med gæsters rester/service. Udvalget stort i kiks, marmelader, saftevand og andet sukkermad. det kneb med lødig kost. Kaffe/te konsekvent lunkent. Alt ialt en kedelig oplevelse.

Værelserne fro små oge sengene for dårlige. Morgensmadstedet var for småt, men blev matchet af at kvaliteten af det der blev serveret var dårligere

Albergo confortevole in ottima posizione. Con pochi passi si arriva alla fontana di trevi. La struttura è carina e le camere sono arredate bene e sopratutto pulite. Colazione presso la terrazza dell'albergo di tipo continentale. Personale veramente gentile e disponibile, sembra d'essere a casa propia. L'unica pecca, se di pecca si può parlare, è che se si è di alta statura, la doccia risulta veramente bassa, del tipo che bisogna chinarsi per fare la doccia. Ovviamente parlo per quanto riguarda la mia esperienza. Nel complesso comunque lo consiglerei vivamente, e se dovessi tornare a Roma, penso che tornerò lì.

Vi hadde to hyggelige rom, med en liten stue i mellom. Perfekt for oss med to voksne barn. Hyggelig hotell, og bedre beliggenhet får du ikke.

Hotel Trevi ligger ca. 30 meter fra Trevifontænen i det hyggeligste kvarter af Rom. I gå afstand fra alle de steder man absolut bør se når man er i Rom. Super service. Morgenmaden er dog ikke noget at skrive hjem om :-).

hübsches kleines hotel mitten im zentrum. sämtliche sehenswürdigkeiten in geh-distanz (coloseum ca. 15 min, spanische treppe ca. 7 min, trevi-brunnen gleich um die ecke, piazza novazzo oder so ähnlich) gleich um die ecke sind auch viele hübsche kleine souvenier-shops, cafes, restaurants etc. für 'grosses' shopping (marken wie gucci etc) ist gleich bei der spanischen treppe, alles wunderbar zu fuss erreichbar. vatikan waren wir mit einer gruppe, die vom hotel angeboten wurde. mussten zwar früh aufstehen, aber wir waren in ca. 30 min im vatikan drin, führung war ok mit eck-informationen zu den galerien, sixtinische, peterskirche etc (halbtages-ausflug)... frühstück war nicht so gut, brötchen hart wenig auswahl, aber gleich um die ecke gibt es genung bars mit leckerem cafe und irgendwelchen sachen zum essen :-) für eine städtereise ein hotel zum empfehlen

Vi boede på Hotel Trevi vore første nat i Rom og det var absolut fantastisk. Vi flyttede dagen efter til et andet pga. en tidligere booking men ville meget gerne være blevet på Trevi. Det gode ved dette hotel er at det ligger super, lige ved Trevi Fontænen men så snart man er på sit værelse, selv med åbne vinduer, er der helt stille. Det oplevede jeg ingen andre steder i Rom i den uge vi var der. Skal vi tilbage, hvilket vi helt sikkert skal, vil vi vælge Hotel Trevi igen. Mest pga. den super beliggenhed men også pga. værelserne og den hyggelige morgenmadsterrasse på taget. Absolut et besøg værd.
