Quality Crown Hotel Kensington - Londres

We found the hotel very convenient to Underground, restaurants and supermarket (Sainsburys). It was very clean and although our room was a bit small especially for 4 days it contained everything we wanted, and we would definitely stay again in the future.

Although the room was small it is in a great Central London location. Since all you need the room for is sleeping, it is a great value for the money.

The Quality Crown Hotel Kensington was so convenient for us because it is close to two tube stations and many but routes. We enjoyed out stay and were given good information and directions by the hotel staff.

The room was a decent size, but the mattresses were lumpy and very uncomfortable. We could hear people in rooms next to us. The elevator broke down and there was only one elevator. The staff was very nice, but not very knowledgeable about tourists information. We would not recommend this hotel.

I was expecting more from the Quality Crown Hotel Kensington since it was listed as a four star hotel. It was not my idea of a four star hotel, but it was a decent hotel. The rooms are very very small and the furniture isn't modern at all, but it was very clean so I guess that is all that really matters. The hotel is located in a nice area and is an easy walk to two tube stations (Gloucester Road and Earl's Court), a large grocery store, and many restaurants. Really nice perk is that there is free wi-fi in the coffee shop that is located in the lobby. The staff was helpful. This hotel probably wouldn't be my first choice to stay in if I were to visit London again, but I wouldn't be against staying there either.

Hotel is ok, decent location. Only real gripe was the hotel room was tiny. Really small. I was on the 6th floor and the my companion was on the 3rd floor and we agreed each off our rooms was were the smallest we'd ever been in. We didnt spend much time in our room so it wasnt a major issue. Front desk staff, especially at night were very helpful.

Although the room initially seemed small, compared to the US, my wife and I became very content with it. It was in an excellent part of London and everyone, from the doorman to the waitresses, were excellent. I feel more than satisfied for the price paid and the service received.

This hotel met our needs really well. The location was great and it was very good value for money. The bar/coffee shop proved very useful for a family with a 4-yr old and having secure parking at the hotel was very helpful. We found the beds and pillows a bit hard for our personal taste but we thoroughly approved of this hotel and would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Room was spotless all through and had every expected amenity, quite a design feat given its size! As a double room it was very cosy. Fine for 1 night's trip to the theatre. Compact really means compact, small 'double' bed pushed up against a wall.

restaurant and bar staff really lovely but on reception they did'nt seem interested in helping you, answering a phone while dealing with us. nice and clean but we had a double room with the double bed pressed against wall. It should by rights only been used as a single room. very cramped.

The room was very small but the price was very reasonable. The hotel in all other regards was very good quality with great service, better than would have been expected for the price.

The location was great, once you found the hotel. The room was small but I think that's a given for London. The beds however were incredibly hard. It felt like someone forgot to put the mattress on the bed. Yes that's how hard it was. Other than that it was an okay hotel. Not great but not horrible either.

The hotel was nice and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside to the hotel was that the rooms were very small.

The airconditioner rained all over our room first night, but it was quickly fixed. We had no water our last morning and were offered no recompense. And the price of the breakfast we got while waiting for water was outrageous, even for the amount of food. (the eggs were awful) Considering all of this, I loved the hotel and Jo, the bartender. The room was just the right size. The bed was firm but comfortable. The chambermaid was funny and efficient. Everything was clean and accessable. I would love an ice machine, but... it's europe after all ;) I would have liked a more helpful desk staff but the value was right.

Hotel offered just what it promised...nothing more and nothing less. Hotel staff was flexible with check in (we checked in a couple hours early) and check out times (we checked out a few hours late). Hotel did not offer washclothes with the towel service (I've read since that this is common practice in the UK, but never experienced it before). Hotel was a bit slow in providing code for accessing wireless internet.

Staff were helpful when asked. Non-smoking room smelt heavily of smoke. Had to change room. Nice hotel if only slightly over-priced.

This hotel is not close to any attractions but it is only a 7-10 minute walk to the underground. I was dismayed that breakfast was not included in our stay and they wanted 10.5 pounds per person. Apparently when booking through hotels.com, one is entitled to "room only". Wireless internet was free until the last morning of our stay. When we tried to go on the internet at 7AM, we were prompted to pay by credit card.

We had booked a "compact" double room. However we did not realise that the room was going to be so tiny. Not big enough even for one person and there were two of us.

This hotel met all of our expectations. I think it is in a great location, doesn't have a big city feel, which we liked. It is about 2 blocks from a tube station, so very convenient. There is a great grocery store a block away, we were able to save money by buying things like breakfast there everyday instead of eating out. Our room was very clean. My only complaint would be that our king size bed was just two twin mattresses pushed up together. I know in this price range it is rare to find a king size bed, but it had an annoying break in the middle of the bed. The hotel room was definitely smaller then what I am used to staying at in the US, but it was not uncomfortable by any means. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff were all very friendly.

This hotel was a great "pit stop" for a day/night visit. Great location. Only complaint was the parking was limited and tight to get into. Hotel staff were very friendly but the breakfast was expensive however very tasty.

The hotel was decent. The room was a bit small but after traveling for 2 weeks I had never been happier to see a clean and huge bath tub in my entire life. The bathroom was so nice, but I'm afraid room space was sacrificed to have such a nice bathroom, but an easy sacrifice. Bed was hard and kind of uncomfortable, and the breakfast for a price was kind of steep. But over all it was pleasant, and for a London hotel it was decent. For the money I would recommend it but I would also recommend that if more than one of you is staying there, you should consider looking into getting a bigger room than a double.

Very clean hotel and well priced for the location. Some things we did not like were the size of the room - it was quite small including the bathroom. It was difficult for both of to be in the bathroom at the same time. The walls were very thin and we could hear people having conversations and watching television late at night. The best tube stop was Gloucester Road and that was a 5 minute walk - not bad unless it was bad weather. Overall it was a good hotel for the price and location and I would stay there again.

It was OK Very small room. no parking near. I asked and they directed me to a non existant car park. hotel is just inside the congestion zone. staff were friendly. location is OK

I'm so glad that we chose this hotel despite warnings from other reviewers of tiny and noisy rooms. This hotel offers great value for money! Our double room was very clean and well equipped with lots of clean towels, tea & coffee making things and toiletries. The room was small but who needs loads of space when you're out sightseeing all day?! We could hear our neighbours but again this did not bother us as we didn't spend much time in the room. The room was otherwise very quiet. Highly reccomended.

The room was clean, small and tight but fine for 1 night. Didn't have the breakfast but got food poisoning from the restaurant and food was poor and very overpriced, was not impressed. Fine for a short stay and its a 5-10 mins walk to gloucester road tube station which was good for new years events. Also it annoyed me endlessly, the smallest slowest lift I've ever seen, especially when we were on the 5th floor!

i stayed in quality crown for three nights and i recommend it to anone, although small the room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. there was no problems with the hotel although breakfast was poor. the staff were more than friendly.would definately stay again.

When we arrived to our room... there were people in it sleeping. They had given our room away and then put us in an "out of order room". The toilet did not flush and was not fixed and our ONLY outlet did not work so we could not dry our hair or charge our phones or camera batteries. The guy at the front desk treated us like we were crazy and did not know what we were talking about when we said there were people in the room and walked us back up there only to find people sleeping!! The manager was sooo rude and did not care at all about the problems we had the night before when we explained what happened. The hotel could have been nice, but the service was absolutely HORRIBLE!!

Very clean and well maintained. Good but not great location. Close to subway though. Room was very small. Service in the hotel not so great (typical around london)

This is a decent hotel at a decent price. The rooms are nothing special but the hotel is in a decent location and the staff was friendly. The price was also reasonable for the location, no complaints.

I was given a room, crealy only for a single person, although I had a double room booked. Manager tried to convince me that this is a standard double room. Very unfriendly stuff. Don't go there. Not a hotel for business travel at all.

I found the staff helpful, the accomadations very clean and nice, the room tiny but more than adequate, and the location near the V&A, Harrod's and Hyde Park wonderful.

The location is absolutely in one of the most beautiful parts of the city, however, the front desk staff was less than friendly and even less helpful with the 'tourist'.

Hotellet er meget centralt beliggende, så det er let at komme overalt i London. Værelserne er små, men pæne og rene, morgenmaden OK - så alt i alt et godt hotel til prisen.

Tout d'abord, je tenais à préciser que le personnel est sympathique et accueillant. L'équipement est honnête bien q'un mini-bar ne serait pas de trop. Le panier de courtoisie est bien rempli. Par contre, la chambre que nous avons eu était très peu confortable: -Faux plafond à l'entrée de la chambre qui tombe à moitié, vraiment pas classe, il laisse entrevoir toute une série de cablage :s -Nous sentions les ressorts du matelas, sans oublier les horribles bruits qu'ils faisaient. Maux de dos et torticolis assuré! -Le pommeau de douche dans la baignoire est fixe...pas forcement gênant sauf lorsque celui-ci vous tape directement dans la tête, je ne mesure qu' 1m75 mais ma tête touchait presque le plafond et à tous les coups le pommeau de douche! -Mais le pire reste l'insonorisation des chambres, nous entendions absolument TOUT de la discussion de la chambre à côté, la porte entre les 2 chambres laissait apparaître un jour énorme! Si la discrétion est un fondement de l'hôtellerie, ce n'est pas le cas dans celui-ci!

Hotellet fremstår som nyopppusset og renholdet er på topp. Personalet yter og god service og er veldig hyggelige og behjelpelige.

När man bokar detta hotell så står det att det ska vara 4stjärnigt, med tanke på det så tror man att det ska vara någorlunda ok. Men det är som vilket annat 2stjärnigt hotell som helst runt om i Europa!

Albergo molto gradevole, anche la camera che ci è stata assegnata era ottima, uguale a quella visibile sul sito, curata nei minimi particolari, molto utile il bollitore in camera, i vetri doppi isolano bene dal traffico. Unico difetto mura molto sottili tra le camere.

När vi kom till hotellet hade de haft översvämning i vårt rum. Verkade som att vi var de enda drabbade. Vi flyttades till grannhotellet och fick ett snudd på äckligt, kallt och lyhört rum. Ingen spontan kompensation och liten förståelse för att vi var missnöjda. Trist start på min 11 årige sons första besök i London. Efter tjafs fick vi gratis frukost för oss två x två dagar. På wbbplatsen står det att Quality Crown hotell är nyrenoverat och att de har à la carte meny med internationellt kök. Båda är fel. Receptionen erbjöd mackor och förstod ej varifrån uppgift om nyrenovering kom. Natt 2 fick vi vårt riktiga rum som iofs var fint och trivsamt.
