Le Meridien Munich - Múnich

This is a beautiful hotel and the price was right. It's important to realize that it is a bit of a hike to the town center (Marienplatz)and there are some strip joints off the main street that takes you to the city center. On the plus side, it is right across the street from the Central Train station and that is great when coming from the airport.

This hotel is in a convenient location, just outside the Munich Mainb Railway station. The room & bathroom were clean & spacious . No complains at all

Le Meridien exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was far better than we expected. A wide array of selections of quality food. The service was good too. The room was very modern. Shortly after getting to our room, the front desk called to make sure we were happy with it. That has never happened to us before. The concierge was very helpfull with information and directions. He actually ran out to buy us bus tickets. Our room rate even included tickets to two muesums.

Hotel staff were amazing. Very helpful and personable. Hotel is directly across the street from the main train station and there are hundreds of restaurants within walking distance.

Great hotel. Right across from the train station and easy walk to tourist attractions. Equivalent to a 4 star American Hotel.

It's right in front of the main train station so you don't need to spend money on cabs and it's walking distance from the main square.

The hotel was great--very clean, comfortable, and modern--amd the staff very helpful and friendly. While very close to most of the sights, the location (right across the street from the train station) left a bit to be desired--strip joints, etc. While I certainly never felt uncomfortable or threatened in any way, it certainly wasn't picturesque in a positive way. Even so, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, especially if you could get a room at the great price we did on hotels.com.

The room and hotel itself were great. A bit pricey considering breakfast is not included but, after all, it is Munich. The location was good for getting around.

The staff at Le Meridien made us feel welcome and comfortable. A very nice feeling when far from home.

The location is right across the street from the train station. The hotel is great the staff was very helpful all English speaking.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The additions were a bit pricey unless you get the complete deal. but all in all it was very relaxed. Big plus it was right in front of the main train station.

Got a great deal through the website, especially since this is a very nice hotel. The hotel, like most European hotels, charge for things we tend to have included in the States - specifically, internet access and breakfast. Their breakfast prices are very high, especially since they are right across the street from the Main Train/subway station and there are plenty of places around there to eat. Very convenient to public transportation and roughly 40 minutes from the airport (direct line on the subway). Would definitely stay there again as long as I can get another great deal from hotels.com

very helpful staff. gave excellent recommendations for dinner and travel outside of Munich. location is right across from main Munich train station (note Munich has several train stations) - and close to shopping and museums.

The hotel met our expectations and more. It's right across the street from the Banhoff and an easy walk to all of the major tourist spots. The concierge was particularly helpful...best tip was to go to the Kandinsky exhibit around dinner time. Right on! While others faced two hour lines, we were in within 15 minutes. He also helped us put together a walking tour. Only down side: he suggested 10:30 Mass at St. Michel's Kirche..the high Mass at 9 would have been better.

Excelent Hotel for the money! Great service and wonderful staff - will return in the Summer. Cost for breakfast and in-room entertainment was well over the top -they need to cut the price in half, then perhaps people would actually use the services.

We got a great deal on this hotel -- it was only a little more expensive than much lower quality hotels in the area. the pool was under construction when we were there, but other than that everything was great. big room, big bathroom, comfortable bed.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Meridien so much, taht we are thinking of doing it again soon. One thing though: the restaurant could do with a wider choice of dishes; it has less choice than roon service!

Being across the street from the train station made this an excellent location. 4 minute walk to the U-bahn, S-baun, and trains means you can get anywhere you want quick.

We were in Munich to take delivery of a new car and chose Le Meridien for its location and stellar reputation. The place was clean, pleasant, and the staff unusually helpful. Largest room we had in any European hotel (the others were mostly the size of walk-in closets.) Close to the main train station and convenient parking (extra charge)if you should arrive by car. Overall, exceeded our expectations and we will stay again.

Le Meridien in Munich offers excellent comfort at very affordable rates. Good service, large spacious well equipped rooms and a relaxing and friendly leisure centre were highlights. The location is excellent; directly opposite the Hauptbahnhof with excellent S-Bahn and U-Bahn connections to the whole city. The downsides were the lack of a double bed (two singles pushed together and not the first time this has happened in a Starwood hotel) and difficult to calibrate air/con. The PayTV service did not work as advertised meaning no movies on this trip.

For European standards this room was amazing! We had a huge comfy bed, with fluffy pillows, which is rare in Europe! The room was large, with an amazing bathroom with both shower and tub separately! It is located right by the train station, easy to take the tube anywhere you want, and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping drag and major sites! We just loved it, the staff spoke great English, and were very friendly with anything we needed! Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone who is going to Munich!

Comfortable hotel, great spa area, excellent location, right in front of train station. Most attractions and places to take tours are walking distance. Good atmosphere and nice people.

The staff makes this property an outstanding hotel. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel was amazing and very high class. However, due to our stay during Oktoberfest, the prices were extremely overinflated (as all hotels in the area). Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends in the future.

I stayed here for 4 days in July 2008. The hotel is conveniently located next to the main station, but if you have a room to the front, it might be a little noisy if you like to open the windows. There is air conditioning though. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that there was no wireless internet and the network cable in the room was only a meter long, so confined you to the little desk in the corner when you wanted to work. I asked for a longer cable and got one, so that was great. But the internet connection was really pricey with 25 EUR for 24 hours or so. Also, the phone in my room didn't work, and I had a technician run in and out of the room for 2 hours to fix it. Other than that - I had a nice stay and liked the bar downstairs and the restaurant in the courtyard. Nice pool in the basement as well!

Great hotel, perfect location, pool and spa to die for Ask for a room on the upper floors, The main rail station just over the road, tram and tube right out side, 2 stops to town, fantastic The only downer did not expect to pay for parking at the hotel.

Uber contemporary chair fun to gaze upon, however not so comfortable. All things considered a great hotel, great service, a real value. I would stay again without a second thought.

This is the nicest hotel that I have stayed in in Munich - having been to Germany 51 times. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable(especially considering I had just left a 5-star hotel in Paris). The bathrooms in this hotel were especially nice. The service and the staff were really outstanding, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location of the hotel could not have been better - easy walking distance from all kinds of great sites which was important to us with only 2 days. I would highly, highly recommend this property.

Stayed only one night before leaving Germany, but hotel is beautiful with great service. Rooms large and attractive with flat screen tv, closet and nice work station. Can walk to historical and lively sections of Munich and right across the street from Haupbanhof (major train station). Prices for meals, etc. high but not unusual for this level of hotel. Concierge made great recommendations for dinner and arranged reservations. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

This hotel is conveniently located just outside the main train station and within easy walking distance of the Marien Platz. The rooms are luxurious. A great oasis at the end of a long overseas flight.
