Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport, Schiphol - Schiphol

The hotel was good but the shuttle bus to the airport only takes 8 people at a time and comes round every half an hour so you could be waiting for a few hours if you dont try to get to the front of the queue each time.

We needed to stay near Schiphol airport for one night and this hotel was considerably cheaper than either the Hilton or Sheraton, however there was no compromise on the standard of accommodation. We were very impressed.

They offered to arrange transportation, wake up calls, and everything else without me having to ask. It was a great place to stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We stayed for three nights on before going to Rotterdam and then stayed another night before heading home. For us there was a small price increase to get breakfast included. This had to be one of the best values for breakfast around. 2 people got an all you can eat buffet for about ½ the cost of one person anyplace else. Food in the Netherlands is much more expensive than in the states and we were able to make it to dinner without getting hungry again thanks to the great breakfast. We stayed near the airport since it was ½ the price of staying downtown. This worked out well for us since we were always able to catch the shuttle bus back to the hotel from the airport train station before it stopped running at 11:45 PM. The rooms were clean and quiet. From our room we could see the airport and watch 747s take off, and could not hear them. Overall I must say we enjoyed are stay at the Radisson.

Comfortable room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Good fitness gym and sauna. If you want to save and don't mind the 30-minute trip to downtown via free shuttle and train, this is a great place to stay.

The hotel and staff were great once we got there, however, we initally waited 20minutes for the shuttle, (we had been the first under their sign at the airport...however, when the van pulled up, we went to the back to place our luggage there, and as we were doing so, the van filled up and they made us remove our luggage and wait for the next one 25minutes later...They usually send a bus, but I guess the drive was on break and therefore, they only had an 8 passenger running...but, once we got there, everything was fine. Location was very close to airport, but kind of in an industrial section and had no dining options, (except for the hotel)

It is very convenient with the free shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to and from the airport. It takes less than 30 minutes from the airport to the city center by train and then you can expose to all attractions either by walk or by Tram. The room is big, clean, and comfortable and the price is much better than those in the city center. If your destination is the Keukenhof garden, this is a perfect location for there is public transportation available between the airport and the garden.

We found the hotel a very convienent location for seeing Amsterdam. We could take the shuttle to airport, 10 minutes,catch the train to the city center, approx. 20 monutes and never have to worry about the car. The rates we had were unbelievable it even included the breakfast. Hope Radisson keeps offering these special rates more often.

The location and price are very good for the Amsterdam area. It is close to the airport with a free shuttle that runs till 1145pm. The hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. When I go to Amsterdam again I will surely stay at the SAS Radisson.

The hotel is near the airport, has good shuttle service and good price. Nice comfortable rooms. I will come to stay here again for any layovers.

Beautiful hotel for airport stayover or cooling your heels after a long trip and you need somewhere quality to recharge the batteries. Nothing else around so just stay in the hotel. but not a problem as most people stay for a night and get going.

Good hotel for business travelers who need to be close to the airport. Shuttle service very convenient.

All of the people there at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The grounds are nice and the rooms are quiet. There is a shuttle to and from the airport approximately every half hour. The shuttle schedule is displayed at the airport. The food in the restaurant, The Lighthouse, is quite good and there is a daily special that is reasonably priced.

This hotel provided an airport shuttle which was a great help. The hotel is too far away from town unless you are willing to take the shuttle to the airport, then catch the train to the city center. We were only there overnight so it wasn't a big deal for us. If you wanted to see the city, this would be a disadvantage.

Free shuttle to and from the airport. Very convenient. We used the shuttle to go back and forth from the airport to take trains to central Amsterdam. Customer service was good.

I stayed at the Radisson SAS for 3 nights on a recent business trip to Amsterdam. The hotel was an exceptionally good business travel hotel with free internet and large well appointed rooms. The true value was a 3 nights for the price of 2 offer. At the normal rate, the hotel is a good but relatively expensive alternative considering it is located at Schipol. The hotel does provide a convenient, free shuttle service to Schipol.

I stayed there for the Easter weekend and had a great time. The service was excellent and the people were kind and informative. The room itself was very comfortable. There is a shuttle that runs to the airport every 30 minutes, and trains from the airport to downtown five times an hour. From hotel to downtown is around 35 minutes. That is not bad for the money you save by not staying closer to downtown. A great stay for the price.

The staff was extremely helpful and curteous. The fitness facility was the most comprehensive of any hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very clean, comfortable room near the airport

We stayed at this hotel the last night in Amsterdam so we would be close to the airport for a morning flight to the US. Even though we were there for only a few hours (after partying all night downtown), everything was great. The wake-up calls were perfectly on time and the directions the staff gave were also perfect. Only about 20 minutes from downtown, it's is very nice.

Alt var rent og pænt og i orden på hotellet. Vi blev opgraderet til "et større værelse" hvilket viste sig at være en underdrivelse, værelset var enormt med to hyggearrangementer, kontorbord, to meget store dobbeltsenge (vi var en voksen og et barn), fjernsyn i begge ender af værelset, mm. Morgenmaden var virkelig god, lige et ekstra skridt bedre end en almidelig god morgenmad. Gratis shuttleservice til lufthavnen var også rigtig god. Der er begrænset antal pladser. Den ene gang der ikke var plads til os skaffede de en ekstra bus i løbet af 10 minutter. Der er også fitness faciliteter men det nåede vi ikke at bruge. Eneste negative er at der er ikke noget spændende at se i området omkring hotellet.

Alles in allem Empfehlenswert. Hier kurz und bündig eine Beschreibung: Lage: 20min mit Auto vom Zentrum Amsterdam entfernt Parken: direkt vorm Hotel für 20,- pro Tag (in der Umgebung sonst kaum Parkmöglichkeit) Anbindung: mit Auto super (von der Autobahn abfahren und nach 2-3 Ampeln ist man da). Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttelservice (alle 30 min) vom Hotel zum Flughafen und zurück an (ab Flughafen mit dem Zug ins Zentrum lohnt sich, da das Parken in der Innenstadt viel teurer ist als am Hotel; bis zu 5,- je Std!) Ausstattung: moderne Empfangshalle, Zimmer im Look der späten 90er (also auch noch ganz gut). Auf dem Zimmer alles vorhanden was man braucht: Klimaanlage, Minibar, TV (mit ARD + ZDF), Bad mit Duschwanne, Bett mit einem großen Zudeck (für 2 Personen!) Service: sehr gut. Unserem Wunsch das verschlossene Zimmerfenster zu öffnen wurde sofort nach gekommen Frühstück: alles was das Herz begehrt, wenn auchgleich es etwas vielseitiger hätte sein können; frisches Obst, 2 versch. Müsli, Brot und weiche Brötchen (für Knusprige kann man den vorhandenen Ofen nutzen), O-Saftpresse, warme Speisen (z.B. Würstchen oder Poffertjes), 3 versch. Marmeladen und Honig und Schokocreme.

Bra läge, nära motorväg. Gratis buss till flygplatsen. Vidare är det lätt att ta sig till Amsterdam med snabbt tåg. När atill andra atraktioner som t ex Keukenhof . Skulle vara perfekt med en pool, men tyvärr finns inte.

Good standard, reasonable price. It is easy to get to the city center. We are satisfied with almost everything except for the sound isolation in the room. In the morning you can hear other people open/close their doors or even the sound from their garderob (taking or hanging up clothes).

Excellent new hotel with a comfortable, clean, large room. We did not go for the breakfast as it was expensive. The commute to Amsterdam via the shuttle bus (to airport) and train (7 euros) tokk about 45 min and was not a problem at all.

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Staff was knowledgeable and courteous. We stayed there on a Sunday and the main dining room was closed but they offered a full menu in the lounge, which was inovative and delicious. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Bra trevligt hotell. Frukosten var väl dyr.
