This was perfect for us (family w/teens)and the street is relatively quiet. Don't waste your money on the overpriced breakfast at the hotel. Instead head around the corner to Boulangerie Julian (75 Rue St. Honore) for the take-away croissants, pastries, and sandwiches of your dreams. They are open 6 am - 20 pm. Air conditioning in the rooms was heavenly, staff tried very hard to be helpful but sometimes were overwhelmed. Still, very good quality and location for the money. We were happy.

Comentado por Frequent Trav, deJacksonville, el ago 6, 2009
Off Champs Elysees, on side street, we kept walking down this small, unattractive side street fearing the worst and got to unimpressive entrance, but were pleasantly surprised once inside. Nice attractive lobby (mirrors, marble and modern furniture) with FREE INTERNET ACCESS THROUGH COMPUTER HOOKED UP IN LOBBY and nice patio to sit in. Very new looking spa downstairs which consisted of excercise equipment, sauna, locker room and showers and soothing fountain. Massage room. Facilities very clean and new looked like no one ever uses them. Our Room was attractive and large with brocade looking curtains and nice marble bathroom. Large windows. We skipped bfast which was 25 euro and we looked at the functional but not terribly attractive bfast room with small buffet and toaster out (make your own toast?) and decided it looked unappealing and overpriced. GREAT Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was not near Louvre or Notre Dame, etc, but short walk to Champs Elysees with plenty of shopping and lots of touristy restaurants if that is your thing. Metro stop pretty close - FDR stop on Metro Line 1 if you go left on Champs E. and George V stop on same Metro Line 1 if you go right on Champs E but slightly farther away. Also another Metro line 9 if you go opposite direction from Champs Elysees out the front door but we never took that one. Great Monoprix department store with food section on lower level right on corner of hotel street and Champs Elysees if you need last minute toiletries or snacks/drinks to keep you going while sightseeing.

Location cant be beat: right near Pont Neuf and the Rue Rivoli with easy access to the Louvre, Ile de la Citè and Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter e.g. the area around BD de St Germain. Room very basic with no bedspreads and no lampshades on the fake candle lightbulbs. You can hear water being used in the adjacent rooms. Nice curtains and wallpaper. basic white tile bathroom with only shower and no bath.

Very centrally located and reasonably priced. Air Conditioning did not work despite being advertised for air con and requesting that it be fixed. On ground floor so unable to open window while we slept- very uncomfortable on 2 hot june nights in Paris. One of the party would go back again, the other would not because of the air con.

The hotel is located very close to the Louvre and other attractions. The staff was friendly, spoke English, and were very helpful in giving directions. The only thing is the room is small by American standards. I stayed there alone and it was great for one person. It was actually kind of quaint. However, if I had been with my husband, it would have been too small.

Just a 100 metres away from Chatelet Metro station and about 500 metres to Louve Museum. Located among the department store such as H&M, Habitat, Etam, Samaritane and more. Walk back along the river will find Pont Neuf bridge and Pont Neuf Metro station. Across the bridge, it is very easy to walk to St.Louis Island, Palais du Justice, Notredam, etc.

Fantastic Location, only about 400m from the Louvre. Room was small (as appears to be the norm for Paris) but was spotless and warm. Can't comment on breakfast as we went room-only, but there are many eating places nearby. Staff were very friendly and answered any questions that we had. Tea & Coffee facilities are not in the room, but are available on request. Would definetely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, minutes away from the Louvre, etc. Very good service and the hotel is well kept. However this may be the tiniest room I have ever seen (i.e. not enough space for yoga next to the bed or to open two suitcases at the same time on the floor). I did stay in a single, but still. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed, the bathroom is modern and in great condition. If you need a place to crash in a great location for a reasonable price, this would be good.

Really tiny rooms. I live in London and been to Paris 4 times, so I don't fall for the "all rooms are like that in Europe" thing, I know you can get far better for your money. The service is frankly bad or unexperienced, with reception girl watching youtube while talking to me. Wifi out of order. I am afraid this place has only the location as an advantage.

I stayed 5 nights at the hotel with my wife and our stay was great. The hotel was very clean. The staff was not quite excellent but they were very good. I had a medical situation where I needed a doctor and they were helpful in getting one for me within 30 minutes. The cleaning and food service staff were very good. The reception desk staff were very good but not excellent. They were not very open about activities so you have a inquire with specific questions as to just opening the door on the conversation. The rooms are small but comfortable and with enough space once settled. The shower stalls are small and not comfortable. If you are 200+ pounds and less than 6 feet tall, the shower stall will be a little tight. It should have been built out one more tile square. The breakfast buffet could be a little better for the money but the breakfast room and service was very nice. All in all, I recommend the hotel very much unless you are a large person where the shower stall won't be big enough for you and you'll likely be dissatisfied. It got the job done but just but won't be comfortable for anyone who is on the larger side.

Comentado por N, deTring, el jul 21, 2008
We had a few days spare and thought Paris would be a nice trip, booked fairly late here at Hotels.com and didn?t know what to expect. The location was just perfect for us. We wanted to explore central Paris; I had never visited before and my wife was keen to show me the sights. It?s a very short walk from Rue de Rivoli (check Google maps if you want) and as a result close to Les Halles Metro & RER stations so it?s ever so convenient for Eurostar at the Gare du Nord. On arrival the staff at the desk were excellent ? the lady in particular was unfailingly pleasant and really helpful, and her English was so good I didn?t even bother with my stilted schoolboy French. The room was not large. Ever visited Manhattan? Maybe even smaller than some hotel rooms there. But they?re smart, clean, well appointed with aircon, minibar (great for storing cheeses!) and a good bathroom. We could have opted for a larger room at a higher rate. Anyway, it was all we needed for a short stay. We?ll book here when we return to Paris. Thoroughly recommended.

For our purpose, the hotel was fine. It's in a great location just off of Rue de Rivoli near so many attractions and several metro lines. The staff was friendly and spoke English which helps. The only downsides were the tiny room, marginal a/c, only having CNN in English and the low amenities to high price ratio.

The first thing with this Hotel is the location. You are a five minute walk from the Seine and a ten minute walk from the Louvre. The staff are happy to help with anything. In the vicinity there are minimarkets parks and some beautiful churches. Thats when you start to feel the heart of paris and thats before any sightseeing. We recommend one of the bus excursions especially if your there for three days or less. You get a chance to see most of the city and sights (montmartre being the only area we didn't see). And you can get on and off as you like. Like most of central paris there is a Metro less than five minutes away, also as a cheap form of travel. paris is beautiful and this is a great location to see it all.

This is a fairly small hotel, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lost luggage issue with our airline, and the hotel staff gladly assisted us. We were also able to take the RER B line from Charles de Gaule to the Chatelet des Halles stop which was quite close, as well as access the regular Metro. Our travel goal was to spend the weekend at the Louvre, and this hotel was well situated for that. It was not super fancy, and our superior room was still pretty small - but it was a pleasant and convenient stay.

This is a fine hotel at the best possible location to reach many of the Paris museums and other attractions. The river Seine is just two blocks away and Latin quarter is just accross the river. The proximity of one of the major subway stations makes it easy to reach practically any part of the city. There are a number of good restaurants around the hotel as well as many shops, including a grocery store and a pharmacy. The staff at the reception desk is very kind and helpful. There are many complimentary newspapers and magazines. The rate for local phone calls and the charge for the small coffee in the reception area reduce the feeling of otherwise great hospitality.

Il servizio è impeccabile.
