Best Western Hotel Eiffel Cambronne - París

We chose a Best Western for our first trip to Paris since it was a hotel chain we knew, and it lived up to our expectations. The room was very clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The best part is that it's located 1 km from the Eiffel Tower, and one block from the subway entrance, so it was very easy to sightsee around Paris. There also are many stores and restaurants all over the neighborhood, making this a very convenient hotel to stay at.

I went back to Paris after living there for a long time. I know Paris very well,the hotel location is great, local french area of the 15eme, area 15 is one of the good neighborhood of Paris. The hotel had great staff, speak well English, rooms are small, but bathrooms are good size,very clean, close to metro, and supermarket is next door, good Boulangerie just in front of the hotel with very good coffee, sandwiches, and I recommend this hotel. On arrival was allocated room on 4th floor overlooking rear of hotel but the view was a building site. We asked to be moved to lower floor on front and our request was met next day and this room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The Receptionist spoke good english and was obliging. Walk to Eiffel Tower approx 30 mins

Hotel Cambronne is easily found approx. 2 mins walk from nearest Metro station, the Metro itself making travel around this wonderful city so easy. Very warm welcome from the English fluent staff who were only too happy to offer any help and advice they could about the hotel or Paris in general. Room was exactly what we needed. Bed was very comfortable, good double glazing and blackout curtains kept it quiet and dark to aid sleep, and rounded off by a decent shower that you can stand up straight under. Central location makes visiting the numerous sights stress free. Approx. fifteen minutes by Metro to the Arc de Triomphe/Champs Elysees and the same by foot to the Eiffel Tower down a broad street littered with restaurants. Clean. Comfortable. Recommended.

Wonderful experience on arrival as the desk manager was extremely friendly and attended to our needs immediately. We wanted an additional bed for my daughter who was joining us from Cardiff the same day. He got ii done within minutes. Location is very strategic especially for surrounding tourist attractions around Eiffel and is near the Metro. No hesitation to recommend other travellers.

We were expecting much more from this hotel.The staff wasn't friendly- their english was poor.the elevator was very small and broke down one day and we have to use stairs to get to the 4th floor.There wasn't any tea/coffe maker in the room, remote control for the tv was broken and nobody bothered fixing it.13 euro for a breakfast was to expensive-the choise was very small.no bread only small buns.There is information on the reception desk about a bus to the airport-35 euro for two persons.we asked to book it for next day just to find out that its actually 135euro.we were shocked and the receptionist was quite arrogant.we got the bus to the airport and that cost us only 13euro per person,so charging 135 euro for the same trip is disgraceful.Only good thing about this hotel was the location-close to metro station and walking distance to Eiffel Tower.quite disappointed.

The internet router would not connect to my computer and the desk had no idea what to do. It is not my computer because i use this laptop all over the world without problems. The rooms were extremely small and definitely not 3 star hotel comfort. At night it was noisey, walls were paper thin and mice were heard in the walls. Location was pretty good, 15 min walk to eifell tower.

Breakfast price is NOT included but you can find many small markets and bakeries nearby. Safe neighborhood. Three subway stations walking distance. Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars also walking distance. Rooms are small. Attendants were polite. Good choice if you don't care about luxury items.

A very functional hotel, clean and efficient with a good breakfast to be had. No hesitation in recommending for a short stay. There is a fantastic 'Michelin' recommended restaurant just around the corner. Easy walking distance of the Tower and Invalides. Our stay at this propery was great for the price paid. The rooms are small and not exactly modern, but comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and the small cafe and lobby areas were adorable. The walk to the Eiffel and river is short and the neighborhood is lovely and a bit more on the resedential side. Was very pleased to stay in Paris so inexpensively.

The employees were always friendly and more than helpful. The bus stop was conveniently across the street, but we chose to walk to the Eiffel Tower to experience French living and then got on the Hop On, Hop Off bus which was great!

Room small with 2 twin beds, not enough space to move around in room. Bumped into furniture. Shower very small for one person. Front desk person not very friendly. Other staff member the same.

This was a great location and great serving staff. Although the breakfast was a bit steep for what they gave, the rest of the hotel is very nice and close to the metro. It was walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the meeting place for a bike tour we took and also great to take a day pass around town on the metro. Very safe and confortable!

Our room was very cramped with an extra single bed in it and hard to move around in. BUT the wonderfully large bathroom and very friendly and knowledgeable staff more than made up for the small bedroom. The breakfast room was very nice but we chose not to have breakfast there as it was an added cost.

The hotel manager (the woman at the desk when we arrived seemed to the one in charge)was very kind to us by getting our room ready as we arrived about two hours earlier than posted 'check-in' time. She had staff person serve us coffee while we waited (about 20 minutes) in a comfortable sitting area in the lobby. We had just trained in from Strasbourg and it was nice to just sit down and relax and watch the fish in the aquarium. A very nice gentleman greeted us on arrival and checked us in. There is an elevator for those with heavy bags or those who don't fancy the stairs. We were on the 4th floor which gave a nice view of the local area. We didn't have the hotel breakfast so i can't comment on that. A review that I read said it wasn't that great. There are plenty of very nice bakeries nearby so that's what we went for. Room was a good size and clean, as was the bathroom. Shower only. Good service and pleasant helpful staff. If I ever go back to Paris I would stay here again.

The hotel is located close to a metro station and close enough to walk to the Eiffel Tower for an evening stroll. The maid will clean your room regardless of the no thank you sign. Also, the canapy above the window was not secured so when it was windy, it would hit against the window all night. The room size was consistent with Paris hotel rooms-small but adequate. The bathroom was clean and larger than I've seen in other Paris hotels.

The room's were small but clean and the staff were helpful when approached. Weirdly though, the bathroom door slid shut instead of closing tightly so privacy wasn't ideal!

Very snotty, unhelpful manager. Hotel smells of bad incense or smelly cigars, despite being a 'smoke free' establishment. they charge you for every little thing they can. midnight arrest outside hotel by five undercover agents and two very dangerous looking criminals. couldn't move out of there fast enough... wouldn't let us into the room we paid for, made us pay for another room at full price in addition to room already paid for thru hotels.com. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, ever.

Even the rollaway brought in was acceptable for a 6'4" man. The bathroom was recently upgraded and had marble floors. The rooms were small, no place to put clothes except to hang some and no place to put suitcase since we were living out of them, but it was relatively close to train station (eventhough they were having a strike). We found adequate restaurants and even a McDonald's within walking distance and you could get a super breakfast for 6.30 Euros. The hotel's breakfast of cereal, roll, juice was 13 Euros. There were nice markets close. Eiffel tower was about a 10 minute walk. Other attractions required longer walking time (because of the strike).

I very nice but very small hotel and room. Very clean though and not in the best of locations. Although the name implies it is near the Eiffel tower, its a good hike and not within site do the buildings surrounding the property

Close to metro, dining, quiet, pleasant area. Only one concern - lack of closet space.

We booked a room for three people. We were cramped in the tiniest room. There was no space for our bags. Ridiculous!

We loved this little hotel. It was a bit out of the way, but close enough to walk everywhere. The room was small, but we (my husband and 14 year old daughter) did not care. We loved it. The room was very very clean. It was very quiet and we slept well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the breakfast, we chose to eat fruit and yogert from a fruit stand so we can not comment on that. I loved it.

The hotel was located off a small street but was within a 10min walk to the Eiffel Tower. The room was very clean and had adequate amenities. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful with directions. They spoke a little bit of English which was helpful.

By U.S. standards I would classify this hotel as so-so. After traveling through Europe however, I would say that this hotel was pretty good. It is not located in an extremely touristy district. It is, however, within blocks of the Cambronne Subway Station which takes you pretty much anywhere. I had relatives staying in a 4 or 5 star hotel in the touristy Montparnasse District. They payed 3-4 times the price and the room was basically the same, except that they had satellite t.v. The hotel has a nice little, relatively inexpensive bar. There is a laundromat, internet cafe, and some little bakeries within walking distance of the hotel. The continetal breakfast was too pricey, but the local bakeries are great, and cheap. The subway, or elevated train in this area, is clean and inexpensive also. If I was to go back, I would probably stay here again.

THe name is Best western Eiffel, but there is no view whatsoever of the eiffel tower. Very small and out of the way. Nothing to do around the neighboorhood at night. Probably only good for an overnight business trip. Not at all for family...even less for honeymooners.

Premesso che viaggiavo da solo ed avevo espresso la preferenza per un letto matrimoniale per stare piu' comodo, la camera assegnatami era veramente piccola, con il letto richiesto ma una coppia non avrebbe saputo dove mettere i bagagli. Ilbagno in compenso era spazioso. La pulizia ed il comfort in generale sono ok, ma il rumore e' assicurato a tutte le ore, se la camera da' sulla strada su cui affaccia l'hotel, e i doppi vetri non migliorano la situazione. L'ascensore e' minuscolo. La colazione, pagata , parte a 13 Euro, e' appena discreta. La zona e' centrale, ma in se' non dice niente. Insomma, la sistemazione andava bene per una notte o due, di piu' non so se ci starei.

Placement is very good in nice neighbourhood close to Eiffiel. Rooms are ok. Large bathroom, but the room itself is a little small. It is generally a nice hotel, but the window was inapropriately isolated to keep out the noice from the semi busy road. And no minibar was also a small minus. Could consider to stay here again if price is competitive.

Hotellet er et lille, hyggeligt hotel som er godt beliggende i forhold til metrostationer mv. Fra vores værelse på 5. sal havde vi udsigt til toppen af Eiffeltårnet (meget smukt om aftenen, når det er oplyst). Værelserne er små men særdeles pænt indrettet. Rengøringen er i top og personalet er meget venligt. Hotellet er udmærket til et besøg i Paris - det er jo ikke på hotelværelset, byen skal opleves...

Though the rooms were very clean and the bed as well as the toilets were made up every day, this hotel is not to be recommended. The room walls are so thin, that you can hear your next room mate snoring or coughing. The reception is not friendly at all and not willing to help. We missed the hospitality in every point. Furthermore the hotel lies next to a construction site and someone could hear every day till 22:00 pm the cranes working.

j'ai apprécié le confort phonique de l'hotel et le petit déjeuner ; je n'ai pas du tout aimé me retrouver a minuit avec une chambre a 2 lits séparés alors que j'avais réservé et payé 1 chambre double avec 1grand lit

Centralt hotel til en fornuftig penge. Drop morgenmads buffeten og smut over på hjørnen og køb frisk baguette og juice og spis på altanen mens i nyder udsigten.

Bonne impression d'ensemble de l'hôtel, mis à part un manque de chance sur des voisins particulièrement bruyants toute la nuit, mettant en défaut l'insonorisation. A noter le prix des petits-dej aussi, 15 euros par personne par jour, pas compris dans le prix de la chambre, gloups ...

Voor de prijs had ik wat meer verwacht. Een ontbijt bijvoorbeeld. Bedden waren goed.
