I was going to the Red Sox game in Boston and didn't have the money for an expensive, center of town hotel. I opted for the Hampton Inn in Cambridge and am so glad that I did. It was a short T ride to the center of town and the price was unbeatable. The room looked pretty much like any of the other hotel rooms that I was considering except much cheaper. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good night's sleep in Boston!

Convenient location for the price. Short walk to the T and the Galleria mall. Rooms look a bit dated but are nice and clean. Would stay there again.

Conveniently located directly across the street from Lechmere T stop, just a few stops from downtown Boston. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with advice and directions, and they let us leave our car in the garage for the day even after we'd checked out, so we could spend most of the day in the city. Very good place for an affordable, comfortable stay in Boston.

This hotel is at the north end of the Green Line on Boston's T (subway system) just a block from the Lechmere station. I picked it because it provided access to Boston without the downtown prices. It worked OK for me, but not all trains run to the end of the line. Along with other hotel guests, I rode the T to Fenway for a Red Sox game. I also rode a local bus to visit Harvard. When I picked up my rental car to leave Boston, I was glad that the hotel provides free parking and isn't far from the freeways. The hotel itself was OK with an adequate breakfast. I liked the assortment of bed pillows so you can choose the firmness that you like. The website said that a renovation was underway but I didn't see or hear anything along these lines. I was gone during the day and it didn't bother me. The neighborhood is on the "gritty" side but isn't bad. I didn't see any restaurants in the immediate area so plan accordingly. Don't expect much of a view, but you'll probably sleep well here.

We stayed at this hotel for the 4rth of July. Proximity to a good viewing spot for the fireworks was great. Lechemere station (T stop) is less than a minutes walk from hotel entrance and Boston Garden is a 5 minute ride on the T, Fenway a 12 or 15 minute ride. Parking was free with room and the hotel staff let us park 5 hours before room check-in. The staff were helpful, cheerful and the room and bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. We felt safe and taken care of our whole stay. The only possible complaint was the A/C unit was a little loud when it kicked in during the night.

Parking is bad. The lobby and room smells. Not very helpful reception desk.

Convenient to the Boston "T". Right at the end of the Green Line. Very good breakfast. This was a family vacation, so it would have been nice to have a pool for the kids, but still a very good hotel. I would definitely stay here if I had to go to Boston on a business trip.

The continental breakfast was delicious! My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and it was a very comfortable room. The only slight minuscule downside of this hotel was that our room was connected to the room next door, and we could hear the shouting and talking of our neighbors at strange hours, but that's not the hotel's fault and we didn't raise a complaint or anything. Be careful ladies, it is in walking distance to the mall! I thought this was a good thing. Would recommend this hotel to stay in, and would stay here again!

It is very well located; right in front of the Green Train Stop. Very good and complete breakfast, and very clean room.

The rooms were dated and worn, but comfortable. the convenience to Boston is good. You need a car or must be prepared to walk a bit to get to anything (public transportation, food, etc.).

The website said this hotel is undergoing renovation, but we were not inconvenienced in any way. When pricing other hotels, take note if there is a fee for breakfast, parking, and internet access, which can easily add $30/day to your bill. This was all included. Plus they let us stay parked in the garage for the afternoon even though we checked out. We were in town for a Red Sox game and so were a lot of other visitors. Getting to Fenway is easy--the T stop is across the street; transfer at Government Center.

The room assigned upon entering was not cleaned, and another room was assigned. The next morning the ceiling was leaking from the upper level bath. The attendant stated it was not the first time for this room. My previous stays met my expectations, however, I may look elsewhere for my fall visit.

The hotel is located in waling distance from the city center and MIT/Harvard. This was perfect when you want to explore as much as possible in short amount of time. The price was however a bit expensive.

Decent room, good breakfast. Near a T stop, but a bit of a walk to find any restaurants and not one on site. Neighborhood was somewhat industrial.

Like any stay I have had at a Hampton Inn, everything was very consistent. If you are looking for an inexpensive room in Boston you can't go wrong. I was a bit suprised by the lack of a mini fridge in the room.

If you are visiting Boston and are not looking to spend $300 a night. Check out this hotel. About a 20 min T ride from Logan Airport. The T stop is less than a block from the hotel. I will stay again.

Best feature was being one block from Lechemere station at end of the green line on the T. Made daily commute into Boston easy. Free parking for my car means I did not have to pay for parking at either my hotel or in town, saved lots of $$'s. Bed was very comforatble, good quilt, standard room, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet in morning was also standard. Overall very satisfactory and quite a savings from other hotels in Boston proper.

We stayed at this hotel with our 3 small boys (6,3 and infant) while in the city to check out some museums. It is directly across the street from the Lechmere T stop and easy walking distance of the MOS. The hotel staff was VERY friendly and always willing to help. They let us check in early and leave our car in the parking garage for the day after we checked out. Any requests were met with friendliness and quick help. The room and hotel were clean and in good condition. My only complaint is that the room was a little small and no wireless Internet in the rooms. The continental breakfast was great and mor than just a coffee and donut. Really great hotel for a really great price. I would happily stay here again!

a little tricky to get to, if you are use to Boston traffic, but overall a great experience. definitely would recommend for your Boston adventure

Right near a T station to move around Boston and other towns with ease.Nice Hotel,friendly staff.It sits in a warehouse area but seemed quiet and felt save walking around well lit.

We were very happy with the Hampton. The rate was reasonable, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Free parking in their basement garage was an added plus.

The Hotel location was awesome! Right next to the subway!Also, it was close to downtown (we drove one night and the other we took a cab that was less than $8!!) The only one thing is that you cannot have access to the internet on your room. Only at the lobby.But they have a computer at the lobby with a printer.

For anyone who doesn't know Boston, this hotel was in a great location to just about everything. The train station is right across the street and it is just a 5min ride to the heart of Boston. The hotel is very clean, friendly and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again.

if you're looking for a quiet weekend away and have a car, staying here is fine.

It was cheap, clean, great location and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was a great perk and free parking. only 5 minutes from boston night life. I would definetely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. I would definately stay here again.

very clean, friendly, and extremely convenient to the "T". It was our first time in Boston visiting colleges for our son. We took the "T" train all over and it was great having it located across the street from the hotel. The staff wee vey helpful, too. Looking forward to staying there again.
