Best Western Art Déco Romarin - La Madeleine

Right at first tram stop out of Lille Europe, not a pleasant walk into Lille because of freeway underpasses. Small but adequate room, very clean, staff pleasant. Would have liked a mini fridge. Irish style pub around the corner best eating within walking distance.

Hotel was everything you would expect from a Best Western. Excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing I can't understand is why there is a charge for breakfast when my previous experiences of Best Western hotels is that breakfast is usually included. There is a tram stop outside the hotel making access into the town centre very easy.

We stayed for one night on the way to Luxembourg, The entrance to the car park was very difficult indeed, if you have a 4x4, forget it! Our room was ok, but our friends room was TINY! We didnt eat breakfast here, but found a lovely patisserie a few doors up which gave us an excellent french breakfast for a third of the price, Barman didnt know how to make one of the cocktails on the menu, otherwise staff friendly and helpful. Easy journey into lille by tram or on foot (15 mins). Would stay there again for convenience and price. Ian & Diana May 2009

This hotel is great little hotel for a couple of nights stay. It is very clean, decorated well and rooms are a nice size. It is a great location. The tram stops outside and its 2 stops to the centre of Lille, with lots of shops, bars and resturants. Would recommend and would stay they again.

it does what it says on the can - convenient for old town and trams - comfortable rooms adequate breakfast and helpful staff - good value for money for a short break

There are: - no bell man to help with the luggage - room service do not bring food to your room but you need to pick it up at the reception - the room have no air - the entrance door do not open automatically and all the travelers fight with their luggage to enter the lobby

The hotel claims to be 0.5 miles from the train station but it isn't really. A taxi driver suggested I walk becuase there was a 10 Euro minimum for a taxi ride however walking meant crossing a motorway and at some places walking in the street because construction had blocked the sidewalk. The area was also not very well lit. I arrived at midnight and the hotel had no food or bar option, the glass in the revolving door was broken, and the elevator was out of order so I had to lug my own suitcase up a few flights of stairs. There was a lovely Irish bar around the corner that made me something to eat even thought it was after hours. During the day time, the tram right out front of the hotel does conveniently run to the train station and central area of town.

Detta är det sämsta hotellet jag bott på i hela mitt liv, att ett Best Western kan vara såhär dåligt är för mig smått förbryllande. Vi bodde här en natt, och det var en natt för mycket. Rummen luktar illa, är designade likt ett 20 år gammalt vägmotell från Balkan, sov inte gott denna natt. Frukosten var den minsta jag ätit någonsin, bestod av några få youghurts, brödbitar, lite juice och te.

La chambre était un un peu petite, la climatisation un peu poussive, la décoration légèrement défraichie. L'équipe était dévouée, l'hôtel calme, à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville, la literie très correcte.

Chambre assez petite mais soignée. Belle salle de bain. Bonne literie. Vue depuis la chambre sur une cour intérieur pas très jolie.

Nous n'avons passé que peu de temps dans la chambre de l'hôtel car nous étions de mariage ce soir-là. Nous avons aimé le calme de l'établissement, aucun bruit n'est venu troubler notre tranquillité nocturne. Par contre ce que nous regrettons c'est l'ambiance et la décoration un peu vieillote... Pour ce qui est du service, rien à redire, petit-déjeuner apporté dans la chambre (demandé pour 10h00 : servi à 09h59 !!!!).

j'ai choisi cet hotel car il semblait être à proximité de la gare lille europe ,en fait c'était très loin et la navette n'était pas utilisable avant 10 heures.Par ailleurs ,je suis arrivée vers 21 heures et le réceptionniste a été en dessous de tout ,pas de bonsoir ,c'est inadmissible ,je n'y retournerai certainement pas

L'hotel est très joli et le personnel agréable. Par contre il n'est pas réellement au centre de Lille mais il y a une station de tramway juste en bas de l'hôtel (centre en 10minutes). Très peu de places dans le parking et difficile de se garer aux alentours. La chambre est super belle bien qu'un peu petite. La salle de bain nickel.

Hotel très agréable, propre et tranquille. Chambre très grande. Rien à signaler. proche du centre euralille et de la gare. Parking pas facile d'accès (très étroit).

Hôtel très agréable et bien situé, à un arrêt de tram (Romarin) de la gare de Lille Europe. Une excellente taverne irlandaisz à proximité permet de sz restaurer. Les chambres sont grandes et plaisantes. Comme d'habitude le WiFI est surtaxé. Hotel tout à fait recommandable.

Excellent beds and easy to reach with public transport

Hôtel sympa, seule chose à redire, hotel indiqué comme étant proche du centre, hors il faut prendre un tramway

Pour un 3 étoiles c'est pas terrible. La chambre était très petite et les petits déjeuners peu copieux surtout au vu du prix!

Bien qu'il faille mettre le prix, cet hôtel est magnifique. Les chambres confortables et chaleureuses. Très très bon hôtel!

L'hôtel est bien situé et le personnel est agréable

A deux stations de tram du centre. Sinon très bien.
