Citadines Apart'hotel Brussels Sainte-Catherine - Bruselas

The hotel was right by the St. Catherine metro stop. The hotel staff was great. They even let us check in early with no difficulties. The rooms were clean and well appointed. There was a small refrigerator, sink, and a 2 burner hot plate. We had a nice walk to the main square and passed a number of restaurants, a grocery store, and shopping. The neighborhood was a little noisy between the late night revelry and the cobblestone street. Overall a nice experience.

Overall, I would give this European three star hotel a good rating due to its cleanliness, location, and price. The Metro station right outside the front door of the hotel was a huge plus, and the overall location for activities in central Brussels was excellent. However, my back didn't like sleeping on the pull-out sofa sleeper with the bar in the middle, and it would have been nice to have our room serviced at least one of the days of our stay. This hotel is oriented to longer stays with their kitchenettes, so only provide service once a week. My daughter stayed in one of the larger rooms the hotel offers, and it does have a real bed, which would have been better if I needed the space. All in all, it was a good stay, and I would stay there again.

It's always hard to find a hotel in a convenient location in European cities that will take a family of four. The Hotel Citadines was in a great location, we had our own room, and our teenage sons appreciated that the sofa bed they shared actually opened to two separate twin beds! Only beef - 11 euros (about $15)to wash/dry one load of laundry seemed a bit steep.

The hotels location was very central and good. The room was perfect for us and there was plenty to do and see around. The cathedral is very nice and the square is perfect for just relaxing with friends and having lunch. A few blocks away are most of the city's night life and other touristic sites. There is a pizzeria called "la dolce vita" a few blocks away which I recommend. We went to sit down for a late dinner and to our surprise, before we knew it the place turned into a strip club. Very funny and unusual experience, but it was a great time.

Well, depending of what you're used to, this place is OK. Smoking is allowed, so many of the rooms stink of smoke. I ended up switching rooms 3 times. The hotel is very conveniently located and there was plenty of room from me, my wife and son. The small kitchen area was OK and functional. Overall the hotel is OK.

The check-in is rather late ( 03 PM ). In my case case they have shown some cooperation and let me into my room at 2PM

Our apartment for 4 was clean and spacious. The location is great, close to Grand Place, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, metro stops. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

For those of you travelling with kids, it's often difficult to find a room that fits four. I found this hotel to be quite acceptable. The room we stayed in had a small bedroom separate from the pullout couch-bed. This room also had the TV and a kitchenette. This was nice as breakfast was not included and we could go to the store down the street and buy breakfast and dinner. There was a complimentary internet station in the lobby and wifi was available as well--although we couldn't get it to work with our Palm. Last thing--the area was nice and quiet when we were there (11/21), although they were setting up a Christmas market and maybe ice rink in the square outisde.

nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en famille, l'appartement était spacieux, la literie excellente, et nous avions un espace cuisine très pratique.

I have stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Have not seen a dirtier hotel in my entire life. Despite its good location, the hotel was not safe and I would under no circumstances recommend it.

The hotel is a comfortable stay in the heart of brussels -- right next to De Brouckere square with restaurants and a moment away on foot from the Grande Place. Definitely recommended. Breakfast was extra charge and a bit expensive (13 euros).
